It was such a good choice to have the final fight be shot from Claudia’s perspective. It gave a feeling of so much dread and helplessness. Just like a child watching their parents fight and being too frightened to do anything about it. It also helped set up Claudia’s part as the driving force behind the plan from the last episode. Also the score during the fight is one of the best i’ve ever seen from a tv show

Claudia has become one of my favourite characters ever
all three of you did such a phenomenal job, for the whole series, but that last scene in particular. It was extremely difficult to watch, and I felt Claudia’s fear and desperation down to my core.
I just love this version of Claudia, it’s so heartbreaking and seeing such a powerful performance of this amazing and talented actress that you’re fills my heart with so much joy ❤ great job bailey ❤
Honestly can't get over how brilliant you've been in this show, you've put so much love and passion into Claudia and it shows in every single scene. Even in eps 6 and 7 where we lose the diaries' narration, your presence onscreen doesn't wane AT ALL and Claudia continues to be a show-stealer. I'm so excited to see you shine in season 2 and whatever roles you take on next (also I've said it before but the Met Gala better get that invite to your mailbox EXPEDITIOUSLY, your premiere look was a cultural reset and I need more!!!)
You guys should have made the first season at least a hundred episodes.

IWTV is definitely my favorite new show, being a fan of the books for several decades. Claudia is so multi layered with being terrifying and yet heartbreaking the next instant. My friends and I have had one flimsy complaint, the episodes are too short! LOL!all of you involved in this are making an amazing version of the preeminent vampire story. We are throughly enjoying every second of it! Thank you all!
There's something so funny about seeing Bailey start out completely normal, then the next time we see her she's dressed as a vampire, red eyes and all, and then we do another cut and she's all bloody and beaten and exhausting.
After what I’ve seen in the finale….. your about to be a superstar!

The book was ten times better, and the movie too. In the book, Claudia did poison him as well, BUT she was the one who slit his throat, and then went rampage stabbing him, and biting him, as she flew up and down. This Claudia, was boring, yes smart, like in the book, but I hated that she wasn't the one who had "killed" him. And that actress who was playing Antoinette, her acting skills in this scene was so cringey! She doesn't know how to act. And I hate that they swap the gender, it was suppose to be a young boy musician, not a woman. This was so painful, as a REAL Anne Rice fan, that loves the books and movie, this adaptation wasn't it. I am fine with changing race and timeline, IF it had stayed true to the books, but it did not!
"This Claudia" as you call this brilliant actress who's name is Ms Bailey Bass, is NOT boring!! She's ANYTHING but!! And let me assure you I AM A REAL ANNE RICE FAN!
