It was fun stitching with you today. I’m with you and have given up on rotations. I have tried so many times and just can’t stick with one. I have to stitch on whatever I’m feeling on that particular day. I also find history so fascinating. If you would ever like to incorporate some of your history knowledge within your SWM’s, I would love to hear it.

I know it’s alot of work, but will you be writing another book?

Oh it could happen somewhere down the line, I just have some much on the go for now, but thank you for asking. 😊

I’m stitching this one too. I began in the middle and will probably crop it a bit
I’m surprised how much darker it is than the mock-up. I previously stitched Stitchers Retreat by HAED and thought this one would be a nice accompaniment.

Hi, yes I'm also a bit surprised at how dark it is. It's actually affecting my enthusiasm in picking it up at the moment!

Oh my goodness! I love watching your stitch with me videos and it was so cool to hear you mention me! I'm glad I enabled you with A Place of Her Own! Would you be interested in starting Once Upon a Fairytale with me? Happy stitching 💜

Loved stitching with you today. I'm working on Anne of Green Gables right now.

I have not finished watching it, but there is a documentary on YT with the Historian who discovered king Richard in a car park and Rob Rinder the Barrister about the Princes in the Tower. Very interesting, I’m saving the rest of it for this afternoon’s stitching time. I think I remember that you have written a book, and was just wondering if you could share the. A history podcast would be fantastic. Kay (Sussex Stitcher) xx

Hi Kay, i did watch that documentary and really enjoyed it. I have since wondered what other Tudor historians make of it, and do they accept her discovery as plausible or not. Yes, my book is called The Last Gift and is on kindle amazon. Thank you for asking. 😊

@@TheStitchyWitch I wondered the same thing. History is so fascinating. I am watching out of the window for the delivery is some of your needle minders. They are so very different, I cannot sprain to see what other ones you do. Hugs. Kay xx

Ah it was you! 💗 Thank you! You should be receiving the minders soon, my window tells me 11 - 14th Sep.
I slightly "under" calculated some package costs in my first few orders finding my feet with the system, but some have received them now with no issues at all. Any problems let me know on etsy (but I dont expect any.) x
I saw Phillipa Langley's book over the weekend and contemplated buying it. Some people have thought Phillipa to be too invested in Richard III emotionally to be impartial or critical enough. It's certainly an interesting story I will like to go into a bit deeper at some point!

I like how some of your WIPS are done in different styles. I have yet to try parking and diagonal. I’m more of a colour till the end of the thread girl.

I enjoy watching Gemma because you see the continuing progress on her huge project. But I like watching your channel because of the variety of what you get to see that you are stitching on. So it all works out! I only have 2 full coverages and they are both very small, 80K each, But they are what I am comfortable with right now.

I have a built-in bookshelf as well, I love them.
I learned back in the 90's, that people in the UK do not use the word "too". Instead, they say "as well" or "also". I also learned they do not use the word "bathroom". Instead they call it "the toilet" or "the Loo" (spelling it wrong, I'm sure). Lately, on the channels I follow from the UK, I've heard them use these terms. Has this changed in your culture?

the Pony needles are nice, but they tarnish quickly; the 28's often break on the eye. I believe the black is a 24 if I'm not mistaken - I've never had one of them break, but the 26 & 28 bend pretty quickly 🤩

My John-Jones #26 needles break at the eyes as well.
