Pinapaubaya is a word that means entrusting someone.
Pinapaubaya comes from the root word ubaya that means let things be, entrust then they added affixes that denotes present tense.
This is the reason why in Filipino, even though some of the words are spelled together we sometimes speak the words as if it is separated.
Even though I am a Filipino I find it hard to learn the rules utilized in Filipino grammar. It is confusing and one of the reason is that I am a tri- lingual person.
In my province we have our own language which is the Waray-Waray language, it is part of the 8 major languages being spoken by almost a million people.

@@avesarjohnc.8472 did you delete your comment after researching it? We have Filipino as our national language. Which is mainly based on tagalog. Is tagalog a language or dialect? I asked you to define both of these words. The only difference that you'll find is that one is supposedly "written down". Tagalog has been written down, and so is ilocano. And you'll find that cantonese is a dialect to chinese they say. Because it's a different pronunciation, grammar or vocabulary than the standard language, chinese. So? it's not the standard or generally the language, it's still a language. It's just not the standard. They're dialects, okay. But they're also a language.
i recommend TAGPUAN and IKAW AT AKO. imoira wrote tagpuan for her then boyfriend now husband jason, and ikaw at ako is their wedding song that they wrote together.

Love how Efra contextualized the meaning of this song. I just simply see it as letting go of a love for someone when they themselves have someone else in mind to be with even the other person is still with you.
