I use 471 but i used this one couple of times at friend's place. It's very good, no delay, pen is really light and has better grip and shape than 471. I will buy it when 471 breaks

I saw this review not that long ago when looking for a new tablet because: -I got a CTL-490 around the time it got released and it was an awful purchase (noticed my mistake when trying to play harder maps, it rules for drawing tho) My 480 started having seizures (should've purchased a less broken one, but it was such a good tablet) I ended up buying this new one a couple of months ago (found it for sale) and I have to agree on the input lag thing... It's *A LOT BETTER* than the 490 and pretty much the same as the 480 in terms of tracking (the pen's much lighter but no biggie)

One thing I hate about the tablet, is the hover height. Also the fact that you can't use the CTL-471 or CTH/CTL-480 Pen on the CTL-472 tablet. And the CTL-472 Pen would've been better if the area around the tip wasn't curved. My opinion.
just got this yesterday. its really not too bad for the price. build quality feels understandably cheaper but its not terrible. and with care i can imagine it lasting for years

It depends a lot on your playstyle. If you're dragging, you might want to have some spare pen nibs, in case they become dull. If you're hovering, then you're probably safe for several years
I didn't include that info because I thought Wacom was smart enough to add that information onto their product specs page but they didn't. RIP The hover distance is almost identical to that of CTL-480 and very slightly higher than that of G430 I can't tell you much about 490 becuase I never tried out CTL490

This uses a relatively newer yet rather cheap looking/feeling pen. Iirc the pen itself wasnt that bad for me but oncr again I wasnt really doing any drawing so I cant give you any good anecdote on how the pen itself felt in details

How is this tablet compared to the 480, in terms of xtapping though, I'm a xtap player and my 480 is probably eventually gonna break from me playing xtap, is this a good choice?
I'm not an experienced Xtapper so trying that out for a limited time will only give you inconclusive opinion/result. All I can say is that the tapping is as responsive as CTL-480 pen
Can I use this tablet on my phone too if I connect it with a cable adapter? If I don't install the drivers on a computer will it work on a smartphone? In ArtFlow app

I saw this review not that long ago when looking for a new tablet because:

intuos S newer versions are horrible , old ones are expensive
from what i hear, the newer intuos s is a nib killer, whereas this tablet wont use up your nibs as fast.
