Carp Fishing | Half day session at Brookwood Trout Farm

We went to one of our favourite fishing spots in the Cradle of Humankind (Gauteng), Brookwood Trout Farm. Awesome family fishing venue and the ideal place for beginners or taking you family and kids for a lovely day of fishing. We manage to land three good sized carp, but missed out on catching any trout and tilapia (kurper).
My daughter caught her Personal Best sized carp at 7.5kg. We excused her from the customary "bucket of water over the head", but she then created a challenge. If this video receives a 100 likes, we can dunk her with a bucket of ice water and post the video to this channel. So hit that liked button.

The carp dam is further down though. This dam has been quite dissapointing for me every time. I caught a 5.5kg carp amongst others in dam 5. Nice video and well done

We tried the 5th dam once. No success, it apparently flooded and lots of carp was lost. But we love the venue.
