the weight per unit area of a 225mm block is 2.87KN/m2 and the wall finishing is 0.3KN/m2 for one side but on both sides is 0.6KN/m2. add 2.87 and 0.6 will give you that 3.47KN/m2
Please go through the video again, and for assigning simply support beam; is when the beam spans only on two columns but if the beam span over two columns it is a continuous beam
If your floor arrangements are different then you should apply slab strip on all but if they are typical then you can only apply on one floor. For further clarification you can go through our other videos

Yes I did, but if you are just taking the strip through the slab just to produce reinforcement, it will not affect the end result. But if you are working on a finite element design like raft and flat slab it may affect the end result
Great tutorial sir. But I have a question. In your design you have level 0 which protastructure treats as foundation level. Then you have levels 1,2 with floor slabs. I can't see the level that has the grade beam.please help me out.im a student engineer
Please sir, explain why you click unfactor box, because i know we design for ultimate load when design both manually and software which is factor by 1.4G+1.6Q(worse case) but you click box G+Q which is serviceability (unfactor). Pls break it down for better understanding. Thanks

Just offset the grids, it won't affect the floor below

Yes. This is how the software does it. It will appear in all the floors
