Kundli - is a film about deep rooted beliefs because of which the characters in the film make decisions that will always haunt them . It's about two meetings of these characters in a different time, period and shows the changes that have occurred in their lives. Though along with time things have changed, but there are somethings which are unforgettable at the back of the mind. Kundli is a film about small things that have remained though the times have changed.

Average looking, but brilliant performances without any dumb fake expressions. That's what needed to convey the message.
Average looking? Getting tired of the actresses with heavy make up and phony expressions. She is so simple elegant, dignified and natural beauty with matchless expressions in her eyes. Just look at her eyes when Sandeep utters the name Payal, after telling that (even though he lost his wife earlier) he has his little daughter, Payal. That is a clincher... both have so much unforgettable admiration for each other. Way beyond lust!

Brilliantly portrayed the subtle admiration between two people, left several things untold, yet writers proved that Love stays intact even when people do not come in physical contact because Life has everything to do with the 'spirit', 'soul' - the essence of what is mentioned in the 'Kundli'; that is everything is pre-planned......
This video is very nice, touching the heart, and can be viewed again and again., as audience we will feel they should have got married , they might be a better match for each other but any everything is imagination. This video is gently touching our feelings, very simple, sensitive. Simply Superb. The effects made for making actors look middle aged are just apt, not too heavy not too light

One of THE BEST short films that I have seen ! Superb beautiful fantastic subtle script and acting. The entire team has done a wonderful job. Carry on 👌🏻👍👍👍👍
14 minutes and 50 seconds of perfection. this short crosses several benchmarks of visual storytelling. a big collective pat on the individual backs of the team who were part of it. the actors - though sounding bit regional - did tremendously well on expression/movement part. camera was conscious and that's the icing of the cake called kundli. thanks.

I don't understand your comment about "actors sounding bit regional". They sound authentic for the region in which this story is set in. Hindi is a national language and spoken with different accents in different parts of the country. If this was a western movie then we would be praising the actors for getting a particular accent right.

He left her bcoz kundlis didn't matched and married to someone else with whom the kundli was matched, but the irony is that even then his wife passed away.
Moral: If u love someone and really wanna marry, kundli have nothing to do!!

A beautiful short film. Male and female leads have done a fanntastic job. Narrative and editing is superb. A smooth and pleasant flow of story telling. Today, I am watching this film, perhaps, for the 60th time.

When both were looking at each other, they seem to have been thinking "if he agreed to marry me, this man would have been mine"and"if our kundalies matched, I would have married this woman"!Fantastic expressions and Kudos to the director. But in real life God is anyway plying with the lives of human beings,why then man also trying to show those sad happenings?Entire life has to be lived without their favourite partner! Being content with keeping their names to their offsprings! How sad!

I guess kundli matching was and is useful in situations where boy and girl have neutral feelings for each other and want to marry anyway. But if they like or love each other, kundli or horoscope match is pointless.
Anyways, very nice story and acting skills. One is left with the same old question of "what if it occurred another way" ... and a sigh

Also, it proves that kundali matching is no guarantee for well being of the couple together... Apart from that, kundali unmatches may be more successful together n not fall in trap of this uncertain matching. First of all marriage itself is a sort of gambling as u can't tell what will happen. U can just bet. So better be it with one you strongly want instead of what kundlali directs..
In hindu dharma kundi take a good role of ralation...if you think it's nonsence then can't do marriage and destroy a man's life insted you become a rand....it's swite upon you..
Liked the simple background music, silence, depth and integrity of characters.

Sandeep & Payal - very nice story, very pure love. The moment is awesome when the man says, "Payal". The lady's expression was such that he called her by name, but she was later surprised when she was told that it was his daughter's name.....
This is called the real meaning of romance....that this generation people should know.tears rolled when both stared at each other when their kids have their names

one advantage of corona ... I can watch in lunch break during remote work and my permissive office doesn't mind if I watch it form my work laptop! Very matured script ... excellent acting too. This is called 'ehesa......as'.

It's okay if they liked each other but naming children with the names of love interest is something downright inappropriate.
Nobody deserves it. Why spoil life of the one you marry and also the kids you have with that person if you have someone in your heart.

Naming one's child after that crush after such a long period is a very secret affair. The spouse will never know about it. How it affects anyone else?
I was told as a child by my mother that I was named after one of my father's girlfriends before they got married. Didn't bother me or my mother. I know he loved my mother very much.
