@@AnadiMishra2 Indian boys tu kisi ko bhi girlfriend bana lay tay hein for time pass but jab shadi ka time ata hai then their families want a gori bahu & the boy goes along as he has been brainwashed since childhood. I’ve heard so many old ladies say ‘Larkay ka rang matter nahi karta’ Indians who mostly are dark skinned doing kala Gora is quite an irony!
@@Must_77785 why should anyone marry someone not similar to them in social status? That’s stupidity. Would you marry a kam wali bai? No because you both have been raised differently think different & she will have a tough time adjusting in your background as you would in her. And yes I have seen many pretty girls forced into marriage with not good looking guys & zero match for the girl, just cuz he had a good job or family background. Many things in Indian men are overlooked just because they are men. Girls now are not accepting anyone that comes their way & that’s good!
I am a typical dark skinned woman frm tamilnadu...nt the black black..bt the darker brown...to giv u an imagination for this story ahead... My entire life was in North India...there were wheatish girls and boys..yet i was the only "kaali" for them to tease behind my back..friendly with me as I was class topper.... My brother was poora ka poora gora...he nvr had this prb... Even after reaching Andhra pradesh , in class 9th, i was nt spared...though there were many darker girls in our class..i was the target..i used to cry a lot... got up once in mid of hindi class, out of classroom ..and left for my home.. The society never accepted me, and "kaali" gt into me so much tht, when i was pregnant, all i prayed was for my kid to be fair!!..so tht she wudnt hv to face wat i did! The only person who loved me and still loves me, even though I am "kaali"..is nt with me.. Him, a joint collector, married, has a son Me, a doctor, married, hav a daughter We are nt married to each other...coz life happened!
The world is unfair to dark people in general but our Indian society in particular is very biased. On my last trip to Chandigarh, there were 4 Americans and me. Every Tom Dick and Hariet wanted their picture taken with the white folks!!! What is that??? I too know of many Indian girls who've had hard times because of their completion. My sister and I knew of this girl, who we both thought was really very pretty but no-one married her as she has a dark completion. It is v sad. I think Indian society should educate the public with this type of entertainment.
I found both actors quite eye-pleasing in their categories. Moreover, skin colour is a natural phenomenon whereas Obesity is a lifestyle mismanagement. You can't choose to be fairer, but you can choose to be leaner 🦕✌🏻
Thats u can say till u not encounter genes and Hypothyriod I was skinny till my early 20s After 28 my body goes through changes of pregnancy and Got nerve issue due to which got steriod injection and Hypothyriod I tried now everything barely lose much weight

From the outside looking in: What a different & honest approach India has to people's reaction to appearance. When I critic a show I often look at the social message it sends. A definite thumbs UP for this one!! I was born & raised in India, but spent most of my life in the US. It's home & I have come to love it dearly. WHY would ANYone have a problem with skin color in INDIA - Indians are a colorful bunch - Different shades of brown, makes for an interesting town!? As for South India, we can allll learn from them!! They are not only more educated and intelligent, they excel all over the world!! They obviously care less about the color of skin & more about the quality of the mind!! As for weight, we have a serious obesity problem in the US, where it has become a norm to be over-weight & flaunt it. I practice Wholistic Health, and believe Safety first, then Health -NOthing is as important!! Self Control comes next, as it builds (self) worth, esteem & confidence. Money comes & goes, and is meant to be shared & distributed - Health is worth having, keeping & cherishing. "Health is Wealth" is not just a cliché, it's a fact!! Be healthy & encourage others to do the same - It's never too late to start, and the benefits are SO worthwhile. It's also GOOD KARMA. Namaste✌!!
The irony is naturally skin tone cannot be changed but fat levels can be brought to any levels by exercises, burnout, etc. So, one problem doesn't compliment the other.
In my early 20s I use to be fat and black. Currently 34, I have reduced by weight, but now baldness has set in. I embraced it and went completely bald. Marriage brokers, relative and mom (conservative people) focuses on my bald head when it comes to marriage. That line "Dosh to ham mein hi hai na" is real and very true. Developed a new attitude/pov. Not getting married is not the end of the world.
What difference does it make by bring bald to your personality? My husband is bald and he looks cute, actually better than when he has head full of hair. Behaviour matters, not looks.
To become hero in south is different ball game dude. 95% of heroes are nepo kids and we are completely ok with it bcoz they understand the value we give to them. if movie flops they apologise to us. Unlike bollywood stars they try to understand common ppl life.
I'm a government person with a prestige family. My parents did my engagement 8 years before my marriage with a awesome girl. I grow fatter as time passed. When I got married my wife took months to accept me after a commitment to get slim. And I shrunk to Very slim at the cost of my own health. Although now she loves me most but fear whether I will fat again. It happens 😊
Loved it the most!!! Appealing presentation!!
South of India have different complexions not only black. We have fair, brown, and black. But discrimination is too low because we have every complexions in common.
Oh please. Discrimination exists in South of India as well. There are many dark complexioned men who judge chubby girls & there are many girls who judge a half bald mid-30s man. People are greedy. People are never satisfied of what they have. They go after what they can not have.
@@S7evn201 I didn't said that there is no discrimination. I just said it's too low compatively. Now the people are getting more educated here, and hope soon will change the low situation to no ,surely
@@mehjinx7509 Then what does he/she gained from the education. We can't competely complain him , because our education system mostly doesn't discuss theses sort of matters right. The only thing we ourselves can do is become a good role model or ambassador against this and hope for better future ❤️
Lead actresses in movies are always ultra Gori, though. In south ppl do not have any options, thats why no colour based discrimination. In North, ppl are of various shades, so is the discrimination.
As a kid i was often compared by my uncles and aunties with their own fair kids. And then yeh gori yeh kali wala program. I remember crying a lot of times over this. I used to feel I lack something that is very important to look beautiful. It took me years to realize color is not impt but a beautiful heart and mind is ❤
Yea....my hubby is dark complex and I am wheaties.. bt we make beautiful pair..I never met a person better than him for this 8yrs of marrage life❤dats life😊😊enjoy evry moment of life
👍👍👍Thankyou for Complementing Our South India 🙏🙏🙏🙏 im from South from karnataka And you are absolutely 💯 % correct Nobody Judges you by your colour.......
i think its unfair to compare skin colour with weight....coz skin colour is what we were born with, which cannot be changed naturally but weight is a choice and can be changed with excercise ..besides being too fat is also unhealthy but dark colour is not a sign of bad health... another thing is the video itself pointed out that always fair characters are casted for dark characters and they have done the same thing...the actor is not even considered dark in indian society...in fact he fits the exact beauty standard of indian men...
It's more about society thinking i.e. what society consider bad/not desirable regardless of being skin colour or body size everyone judges. But at last the lesson is that we should not judge someone regarding their physical appearance, idk how to explain
@@rajshrigaikwad8026completely agree. People want a customized world where all are fair and petite …… that will never be possible. It’s going to be different. Where there is difference there will also be disapprovals …
@donajamatia4362 Why is it unfair? Who said being fat is a sign of being unhealthy? There are many people who are lean and look physically fit from the outside, but have died due to cardiac arrests (or other health issues) in their 30's or 40's. Even if someone is fat and unhealthy, so what? It is their life as long as they are not being a burden on someone else. Why should they fit the societal standards? Why should they be healthy? Let them be as and who they are and let them live their life. Someone is fit or unhealthy or tall or short or dark or fair or fat or thin, it is their own life. Who are we to tell them how they should look or feel. FYI - I am fat/obese. But I move around better than so called other 'healthy' (thin) people. I am sorry for ranting out. This video just made me very emotional because I have been going through this thin-fat s**t since childhood. Peace ❤
Awesome short film, both the actors were superb. Color doesn't matter but being a good human being is more important. Stop judging people all are beautiful in their own way, most important love yourself😊
"Kaali kaali aineka paa kaale kaale shoes" are etched in my memory, a painful reminder of the hurt I endured. Growing up as a Tamil girl with a dark brown skin tone, my family and I lived in the northern parts of India from 2003 to 2018. Imagine a 15-year-old girl walking through the school corridors, while students chant "all black song," emphasizing the word "kaali." It was a constant reminder of my perceived inadequacy. Logon ko samaj nhi ata unka ek word kisi aur ke life pe kitana bada impact hota, logon ko tho dusron ko hurt karne me kushi hi milthi h. In 2019, my family and I relocated to Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Here, I found a newfound sense of confidence and freedom. Life has been significantly better since then, and I'm living a happier life. And here they have mentioned accept yourself first, arey yaar hamne apne aapko accept karne seekh liya h , bs aap log ( so called North indian not everyone) accept nhi kar rahe ho. I have so many north indian best friends , who always encouraged and supported me . I love them ❤️
Im proud of my skin tine. My hubby is very fair and I'm dusky. He chose me because of my colour. My mother In law, brother in law, sister in law and rest family members are very fair but they accepted me like any normal girl. I'm blessed.
Precisely 4 years and 10 days ago at Gare du Nord in Paris at a help desk saw a beautiful ebony dark girl and am reminded of a black girl among all white in a group of ten at the NY Museum in December 1969 and thought she was most beautiful in the group. Black is beautiful is not just a slogan.
I really enjoyed the whole film and the message is so good 😊 yes those lines are true but remember this world 🌍 always judge , people always judge you no matter your skinny or fat , dark or fair, whatever they always judge. so believe yourself and love yourself😊 and be happy 😁
The thing you just talked about that fair skin girl is casted for showing her as black girl, from this we can relate, that it's like curse to born as dark person in indian society
Perfect casting.... perfect storyline.... perfect digdarshan... perfect abhinay....most important thing is perfect subject and msg..... tooooo gooooood 👍....you r great krunaal.....keep it up
Hmmm not true , my Kanadiga maid has an inferior complex of her skin color , and I tried explaining to her skin color doesn't matter and white people like to tan and become dark. But still nothing went in her head
Then why your heroes and heroiens don't look black? Color still matters in your area too. The thing is your population is more wheatish than north indian thats why they don't talk about it. Otherwise those actor who are not fairer they are background villain or comedian. American are too racist but atleast they have a black hero in their films and they are normalising this color more and more Indians just crack joke on black color.

Yes
😂😂😂😂😂😂
That's ur misconception
There r families who still prefer colour
Bahi waha tho tu tom cruise hoga
That's sooo true in south indian there's no complexion discrimination
I do also agree that south Indian people are really confident about their skin colour and the main factor is the acceptance. I am from odisha when i reached there I also felt comfortable there because I was not judged by my skin colour. ❤
Tum to odia ho mai bihari hoon fir bhi bol rahi hoon Odisha me aisa kuch nhi hai
yeah thats why majority of their actresses are fair💀
BTW the main character is played by Maharashtrian actor
wahan sare kale hi hain larki larka sb islye sb aik dosre ko accept kr laite hain from karachi
South Indians are educated and cultured unlike north folks

@@AnadiMishra2 Indian boys tu kisi ko bhi girlfriend bana lay tay hein for time pass but jab shadi ka time ata hai then their families want a gori bahu & the boy goes along as he has been brainwashed since childhood. I’ve heard so many old ladies say ‘Larkay ka rang matter nahi karta’
Indians who mostly are dark skinned doing kala Gora is quite an irony!

Agar looks itne important hote toh bhagwan mann nahi banatey -aww this line touched my heart.
Him, a joint collector, married, has a son
Me, a doctor, married, hav a daughter
We are nt married to each other...coz life happened!

Last paragraph......I didn't get it.
Sorry to hear that sis but for me i really want to have one brown complexion daughter

Beautiful story line and superbly conveyed message. Brilliant acting by the lead cast
I found both actors quite eye-pleasing in their categories. Moreover, skin colour is a natural phenomenon whereas Obesity is a lifestyle mismanagement. You can't choose to be fairer, but you can choose to be leaner 🦕✌🏻

Such a good film.... I first watched this a few months back. Suddenly remembered and came back again. And enjoyed, again !
Namaste✌!!
Why does this comment of yours sound so stupid!?
Rohit Mane & Akshaya Naik you nailed it!
The irony is naturally skin tone cannot be changed but fat levels can be brought to any levels by exercises, burnout, etc. So, one problem doesn't compliment the other.
Awesome .. This is reality and we have to understand that everyone is equally important that's why God created.
Iss dunia mein na kala hone k alawa v mota hona bohot bada crime hota hai....literally felt it
Everybody thinks short height girls are cute.... But chubby girls are real cute... 👍❣️🍁
Great attitude 👍...

Bahat acha laga 😊 story chota hai par bahat pyara aur sahi hai.
Bouth off carecter are very cute 🥰
South of India have different complexions not only black. We have fair, brown, and black. But discrimination is too low because we have every complexions in common.
Oh please. Discrimination exists in South of India as well. There are many dark complexioned men who judge chubby girls & there are many girls who judge a half bald mid-30s man. People are greedy. People are never satisfied of what they have. They go after what they can not have.
@@S7evn201 I didn't said that there is no discrimination. I just said it's too low compatively. Now the people are getting more educated here, and hope soon will change the low situation to no ,surely
@@ahamednejad3231 Even educated ones discriminate nowdays
@@mehjinx7509 Then what does he/she gained from the education. We can't competely complain him , because our education system mostly doesn't discuss theses sort of matters right. The only thing we ourselves can do is become a good role model or ambassador against this and hope for better future ❤️
Lead actresses in movies are always ultra Gori, though. In south ppl do not have any options, thats why no colour based discrimination. In North, ppl are of various shades, so is the discrimination.

Sometimes loosing weight is not so easy. Some people go through health problems which is the reason for weight gain.
It's more about society thinking i.e. what society consider bad/not desirable regardless of being skin colour or body size everyone judges. But at last the lesson is that we should not judge someone regarding their physical appearance, idk how to explain
@@rajshrigaikwad8026I agree

Precisely 4 years and 10 days ago at Gare du Nord in Paris at a help desk saw a beautiful ebony dark girl and am reminded of a black girl among all white in a group of ten at the NY Museum in December 1969 and thought she was most beautiful in the group. Black is beautiful is not just a slogan.
Subject is simple but its execution is awesome. Both the actors are wonderful.
Beautiful performance by Rohit Mane 👍🏽Keep it up 👌
I really enjoyed the whole film and the message is so good 😊 yes those lines are true but remember this world 🌍 always judge , people always judge you no matter your skinny or fat , dark or fair, whatever they always judge. so believe yourself and love yourself😊 and be happy 😁
I hate this type of parents who themselves are main reason for their son's or daughter's inferiority complex😢
Such a lovely short film..each and every thoughts which we "kala"people goes through.

Proud to b South Indian. So true we never talk on color
😂
Hmmm not true , my Kanadiga maid has an inferior complex of her skin color , and I tried explaining to her skin color doesn't matter and white people like to tan and become dark. But still nothing went in her head
Then why your heroes and heroiens don't look black?
Color still matters in your area too. The thing is your population is more wheatish than north indian thats why they don't talk about it. Otherwise those actor who are not fairer they are background villain or comedian.
American are too racist but atleast they have a black hero in their films and they are normalising this color more and more
Indians just crack joke on black color.
Really??😂. Don't lie. Use of fairness creams is extremely high in south India, among both men and women.
