The bz3 is more suited to racing. I also find the mini bodies fit better on the gla. The gla (next video) seems to handle both drifting and racing and has better build quality. The configuration also is simple to adjust and maintain. I'd go gla. I've really taken to the balance of the car and in my next video will do a drfit demo with it. Plus I think it can handle a bashing. Just watch the front wheel offset. What size you going for?
i'm just about to buy a GLA 98mm with Lexan body, i want to drift only, what size wheels, offset would be best and all so what tyres would be best for drifting, thanks in advance
great news . I would go with 0 offset a front to play it safe . that way you are unlikely to damage the servo . For the rear 1 offset although you could do for a 2 or a 3 depends on how you want it to handle and what surface you are running on . drift tyres are hard plastic and may favorite ones are the kyosho ones . wide rear narrow front . hope this helps .
Very good cheap and effective. Get the transponders with the LED as so much less hassle to see if working. The z round software can be glitchy. But it's free and does work mostly pretty well.
I thought that but was happy it was rolling nicely. The bz3 is very quiet as belt drive. I was going to adjust on the day but only have so much time before track has to go away.
Haven't used it in a while. Use to be fastest although I have my GLA set up pretty perfect now. My mini z rwd evo with lipos is also really fast. Driver connection to car is key.
Very cool stuff! Are the cars on same KV motors, Escs and batteries? Same gear ratios too?
thanks , not in this video .some are sensored bz3 and gla 5500 kv I think the sz was 8500kv . ma030 evo 8500kv
What drew you to AWD 28th scale when the scale is typically dominated by RWD?
I can use awd for drifting and for racing.

How much do you think matters that one is shaft drive vs the other is belt?
Bz3 feels more responsive and lighter. Gla v2 is very solid and feels planted on rails as it corners.

Garage RC Thank you, needed your opinion to make my mind up. Going for Gla v1.2 98mm with the McClaren body. Appreciate your help.

@@steves8113 I think it's good choice for racing, it will drift even without a gyro (with drift wheels) and standard diffs.

The graphics are very clear on the race screen compared to some other systems. I've grown to love it and it's annoying parts 😂

I love my GLA. Using the original servo, I also love my BZ 1st gen. Lookin forward to getting the BZ3 and the GLA V.2

Thanks, it's also our home gym during lockdown and with teenager kids trying waiting it use it I get stress if I don't put track away 😂

My track too small. On a bigger track can really see. 😁
