I'll never tire of watching all of Denzel Washington's Equalizer fight scenes. So raw, so realistic, so graphic yet satisfying and worthwhile viewing. His eyes and facial expressions can bring out what the scene evokes. A virtuoso performance by a legendary actor.
The acting & writing on the Equalizer movies the best I've ever seen in an action series. Denzel's portrayal of Robert McCall is one of his best performances. I can't get enough of the Equalizer & how creative McCall kills all off the bad guys & is the savior to all. The world can use a bad ass like Robert McCall.
Amazing how McCall didn't just stop just with under bosses, he recognized the top boss & all his henchmen needed to be eliminated in order for peace to this small Italian town he now calls home. Any role Denzel plays is so convincing & him bitting on an apple & singing is so cunning. By far one of best movies & background music of all time. I pray for another Equalizer movie.
I love the scene with the big Russian guy because it was the last time Denzel ever gave a fighting chance to anyone hence they made their decision. That was his only struggle - after that, he took no more risk.
26:35 Strong message: You can have a Ferrari, a mansion, and millions of dollars, but when death knocks at your door, you cannot take any of them or refuse to die.

Surprisingly, (to many) the 'bad' guys are really great actors. They are reviled by nearly everyone, but on the set, and in the craft, they are friends with and admired by all. Just ask Denzel!
This is a really weird way of stating the obvious that they are very good actors because they are hatable on screen. Of course they aren't this in real life.
I always laugh at the scene where he uses the flour particles for the explosion. He turns the fans on after he just shot out the transformer on the power pole for that block😂 how the hell is the electricity still on…better yet how hasn’t it been out with the hurricane outside lol. All in all, It doesn’t matter. Denzel is one of the greatest actors ever imo
That flour was very fine. Much of it was still up at the ceiling when the power went off. If the fans kept running they might have ignited it too soon. It would take a couple minutes to settle to the floor. Even so, it was spread out all over the building. The explosion was enough to ignite it. A mill in the news a year ago blew up when sawdust ignited.
