The worn look on 24k makes it look all the more beautiful.
There's nothing like the amazing color of 99.99% pure gold. The color reminds me of King Tutankhamun's mask. If I'm not mistaken his mask was 23.5k, which is close enough to 24K. And don't forget 24 karat gold cannot tarnish.

Does your chain hangs straight? When you shine a light, does the reflection of the lights move continuously or like jumping every 4 inches? Mine was like it has a twisted link evry 4 inches.
Some of the links do kinda not sit perfect. I can only notice when I'm letting it hang and look down it. Wearing I've never noticed. I'm sure being 24k there is more variance to each link vs a lower k gold. Not sure. Lol.

Any if them are nice. I'd measure the hole and just make sure whichever chain is able to fit.
I have no tools for smelting, should I trust the 24K gold wires available in eBay? What gauge or wire diameter you came up with the spiral rings? How long of a wire should I need to make 3 rings like the ones you made? Sorry asking too much, but this is just a payback because you are one of the reasons I bit the bullet and ordered a narrow and regular versions both 26". No regrets except for that hoop and rod thingy for the big version. Scared to loose it. Thanks for the video. I subscribed in fairness.

Yea that rod and hoop system made me very nervous. Also. I'm sure you can buy wire from ebay sellers. Make sure to really be picky who from. Twist around small screwdriver or something like. That would yield you perfect spirals.

@@SmartBettsPM thank you for the feedback. From your experience is 24k as soft as a lot of jeweler’s say it is? One jeweler was telling me he tossed a 24K necklace on the floor and it bent, I was thinking to myself what a bunch of bull shi*. 😂
@@user-gu7dn9gr8f I've dropped rings and had flat dents in them. Small but still. The thinner you go the more likely things will get funny. How often are you throwing a gold chain to the floor?
@@SmartBettsPM this is what a jeweler was telling me he dropped a 24KT necklace on the floor and it bent. 🤔 I think it’s bs cause they don’t sell 24k only 10 through 18k.

I'll give mene the benefit and say they didn't call it a Cuban. And I agree with you! They just call it flat link. Which imo is just a rolled chain to be flat.

Agree. I removed the clasp right when I got it and made it fixed kink with a loop.

Have you had any issues with the chain kinking while wearing?
Honestly no, or at least very rarely. It would more often when I would take her off for shower or whatever. When it's in a big pile. But the kinks shake off. And honestly s little wear of the chain made everything smoother and fit together nicer.
Welll…I love my earrings. But the backs suck. They are so hard to get off. I cut my nails short and with no nails…they are hell to get off. But I do love the way the gold shines in a different way in the sun.

Because it’s hollow. I have two 22k chains and a 22k bracelet. All solid and no problems at all. They’re just as durable as 18k.

I've bought many items from mene. I've sold many of them since. But everything was beautiful 24k. There are imperfections, but almost makes it even more original that way.

Most stores don’t sell 24k gold jewelry unless you’re in Thailand. Menē is a great option but they have very high premiums.
Why most stores don’t sell 24k gold
Because most people can’t afford 24k and they’re happy to buy 14k. In addition, jewelers can make a lot more profit on 10k and 14k pieces.
And why in Thailand they do sell 24k gold
Jewelry mene is the best in my opinion. But I make my own now and buying coins is easy.
