Hi Rohit, this helped me a lot. Thank you verymuch. But i am trying to update ip_address for a CI with PUT method but its not working. I used both tables /api/now/table/cmdb_ci_server/{sys_id} and cmdb_ci/sys_id. Could you help here or refer to any video or documentation

make sure that account you are using to update, that have sufficient access to update. What error you are getting

For caller id you are passing display value .. then what will happen if there are 2 caller IDs with the same?

in that case it will pick random one else you can pass sysid also
