    Need to make some shivers out of tungsten... imagine the fall rate there... it could glide - 6 feet in any direction like a dart! Would be fun to experiment with the heavier lure body for sure.

    If you use a Power Pole, is it necessary to use the Spot Lock on the trolling motor

      Power pole can only go down so deep. So if your fishing deeper water you will need to use spot lock on trolling motor.

    Nice! Looks like Vineland bay. Will have to try that, looks fun, and a great way to utilize your electronics.

    @ The Next Bite can someone just use 10lb Nanofil and not use the utral 8 carrier then put a leader on ?

    • @ThenextbiteTvShow
      @ThenextbiteTvShow  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can use Nanofil as your main line. Its kinda a mix of Fireline and Mono. So you get the best of both worlds in one line. Its also great for freezing temps as it does not absorb water.

      @@ThenextbiteTvShow My fleet farm doesn't have ultra 8 carrier in 150 yards It only comes in 50 yards at my store so that why I asked about using Nanofil thank you again for answering my question. I know you guys use a lot of berkley products but as a fisherman what to think of Suffix 832 Superline?

    • @ThenextbiteTvShow
      @ThenextbiteTvShow  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have not tested that line enough to give good answer. I can tell you that I am in love with Fireline. You can feel even the lightest of bites.

      @@ThenextbiteTvShow Gotcha. What type of size lure would suggest for crappie fishing ? trolling form them and what color would work great in mud color water situations ? I know color is important when Crappie fishing.

      Colors for dirty water my favorite is white and pink. www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass-pro-shops-curltail-stump-jumper-jig-baits and www.basspro.com/shop/en/johnson-original-beetle-spin are pretty good for trolling for crappies. www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass-pro-shops-squirmin-grubs 1 to 2 inch white or white pink paired with a jig head is great for casting and covering water. Thats my number one search tool (jig) for crappies.

      Here is a list of the baits from their manufacture websites. Might be able to find some of these at local stores.

      Can i apply the same Strategy on a River? Do i have to stop the Boat to be efficient?

    • @ThenextbiteTvShow
      @ThenextbiteTvShow  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jonesmichel8305 depending on current these would be very effective. If currents heavy you might not get the true glide action from Berkley snap jig but more of a dart side to side action. I would try behind islands and current breaks this spring.
