The idea that Kadokawa is huge is absolute nonsense, all of kadokawa made only 1billion dollars in revenue in 2024, Mihoyo made 4 billion in comparison.
Okay but why the comparison with hoyoverse, that’s like comparing The Last of Us to Call of Duty. Genshin Impact is one of the top earners in its genre. Even on the anime side kado owns a ton of IP that Sony will have access to.
@PressXtoStart Mihoyo has like 4 games, kadokawa has anime, manga, games and what not, and they don't reach even half of Mihoyo, I can use other examples, Kadokawa is smaller than just one call of duty, not all of the games just one, kadokawa is not worth more tha 4 billion at a very inflated price, Sony will get its money back in 4 years if lucky. This idea that Sony is buying some mega publishers is horseshit pushed by people on social media to create a fake controversy around it. If Sony doesn't buy them it is bc they don't see a good ROI on kadokawa, not bc they don't have the money or it would be a monopoly or whatever nonsense people are parroting on twitter.
I think that’s a possibility but it will depend on how Lego Horizon does, if it’s not profitable then it’s not worth losing the potential to get more people into the ecosystem. I predict Elden Ring 2 will probably be a multiplat while Bloodborne 2 will be exclusive

The anime side of things that could be the initial reason n or focus for this acquisition, not really the gaming side.
Nope I doubt that will happen with the success of Elden Ring on multiple gaming hardware
Sony could easily put the games on every platform, even Switch 2, except for Xbox since it's insignificant.
