lol loved it. my friend goes to disney land every year. my friend saw this vid and said when she went about 5 yrs ago she sad the lady at 1:18 was working on the jungle cruise as a skipper and my friend got her as a skipper. my friend said she was the best skipper she ever had.
Correct. After Indiana Jones, it has not reopened as a storytime theater. On some days, they'll have meet and greets with Aladdin & Jasmine under the entrance canopy.
i cant belive they got rid of this and the restaurant it used to be thats right it used to be a restaurant and a show then for desert you rub the lamp center piece and the waiters give you chocolate lamps with chocolate mouse filling and berry topping info from yesterland(dot)com
The show is closing within the next week or so and being replaced by an Indy stunt show... as of now it's only supposed to run for this summer, and Oasis will come back... but you never know! :)
@ztslovebird, I believe it's Jasmine's choice to wear layers or not. Seeing as I recorded this in the month of April, it may have been a little chilly at the time. I think there are other videos on TH-cam of Jasmine in less layers during the show.
@filmfreak11 Oh, sorry. But honestly; I've been to WDW in July and August (different trips, but always hot enough to make an omelette on Mainstreet USA even at 5 in the morning), and all the Greetable Characters have to wear thick outfits, itchy wigs, and the huge Character heads in the bright sunshine! Working for Disney would be great, just as long as I'm never a Character.
The show is great, but sometimes I feel sorry for the performers! If California heat is anything like Florida heat, it's a miracle Jasmine wasn't taken offstage in a bucket! Whose bright idea was it to have her wear so many layers?

I'm gonna miss this phenomenon. But at least you filmed it for everyone to see. Thank you for helping me relive the memories. 5 stars!!!!
Thanks. Plus I think this is a fairly enjoyable storytime compared to others.
I miss the original show here, when it was the dinner theatre thing, but this one's fun, too
Thanks. Now I"m glad I found the time to record this show.
Thanks for posting this! I've never seen it and I'm not going to be able to see it before it closes! :)
But they replaced it with a full on musical in California adventure!
YAY!!! I remember this when I was 10 I was picked to be Jafar.
AH MEMORIES!
I remember watching Aladdin when I was younger thinking that the lamp was a janky looking tea pot. lol!
"Ring ring hello no no" XD guess what my new voicemail is!!

This is the same stage they used for the "Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Stone Tiger" show. I'd recognize that tiger anywhere!

Wow I have been to Disneyland 5 times. And every time I went this was closed.
I wish I can go to disneyland, I'll turn 19 soon and I didn't go there yet :(
If you watched the last part of the show video in the credits I put April 15, 2007
Is its closing offical or still a rumor?
It was in Disneyland California

Aladdin's Oasis on the Edge of Adventureland, next to the Jungle Cruise. It's a peaceful rest spot these days.
Lol!
I think I like the Indiana Jones show better.. =/
