Didn't mention in the video, but the swords are metal, thats way they are heavier than usual. The black ones are full plastic, and, since they are lighter, better for poses, especially when using the effects. Considering that all the others of the line got an alternative color (Vet. Willian is going for the third version already. They seem to realy love that body), it probably will be an alt color of this one to, hopefully with better balancing.
Loose ankles on this figure plus weak plastic for those joints as well. Still a great figure after fixing certain problems but for that price it's kinda ridiculous we have to do that.
Yeah do you think it would have benefited from maybe soft goods for the clothing those heavy plastic clothing materials can’t help with the weight on the joints. The base body is good. Even the hat. Some of the armor. I just wonder what this would have been like if it was actual cloth materials.
@@raypaz2947 oh absolutely. I'm a big fan of soft goods myself but for this figure in particular it would do wonders for balance. Like I said those ankles are super loose and the plastic is weak so soft good would go a long way to help with weight and also posing. Hope your well my dude 👍😎
I preordered this on BBTS a long time ago. When I saw it I knew I wanted to turn it into Usagi Yojimbo. I ordered a 1/12th size rabbit head, but it was more 1/18. So I had to make a silicon mold of the head, and soak the mold in mineral spirits to enlarge it. After I casted up the head it was the perfect size. I also bought a blue and black hakuma. Now I'm just waiting on the figure. I'm excited to see how my custom Usagi Yojimbo turns out.
@@Dunecoone your making the right decision. I own both and can confidently say William is much better all round for the money. Which I think he's actually dropped in price. Hope you get one
Have this on pre order which feels like ages. How did you get it early? Want to pair with the tiger figure against my tmnt mezcos in a samurai alt reality world.
I ended up cancelling my preorder, I swear I had it preordered for over a year and month after month its release date kept getting pushed back. I was disappointed with Weng even though tigers are my favorite animal, so continuously waiting for bunny man was a bit too much for me and I had to hit the eject button.
i bought it then i sold it right away, it just way too big for me, if only it was smaller it would be perfect, also he cant sit unless you remove his cloth
I keep coming to the same conclusion with every review of this figure => If it wasn't for his ears or someone telling it was a rabbit underneat you simply wouldn't know... This one just missed the mark for me compared to the other Maestro Union figures.

Love this joint. The tengu mask won me over

Fun fact, you can take off the robs if you wanted soft goods/to change the asthetics! He also has sculpted butcheeks, lmao

The Hare of Ashina...
these Furay Planet figures are so good, nut they all have balancing issues which is frustrating
That's a cool looking Usagi Yojimbo. 😂
The long sword is a “tachi”.
Can't wait to have it in hand great video!
