I usually don't comment on videos at all, but as a long time viwer and fan of your channel and as a person who has a mother with MS, I feel like I have to tell you this... When I was a little kid, I didn't really understand what my mom was going through. No adult took the time to explain to me what MS was, so I thought my mom was going to die. So as a kid, I got really scared and the anxiety built up and took a toll on me. Anyway... What I'm trying to say is: when your kids can comprehend what's going on with you, please please please take the time to explain and reassure them so they don't get scared of something that in their heads could be much more of a monster than it really is. I wish you guys the very best and I'm praying that Jesus gives you strength to go through it! Love you guys ♡♡♡♡
I’m a mama with lupus.. thank you for sharing this. I always wonder if I’m wrong for not hiding my chronic illness from my children. I’m afraid that I’m traumatizing them. I always try to be honest with them - age appropriately obviously. I needed to see this comment. 💜
Just seeing this comment. Thank you for your perspective on this ❤️ As of now, I do a great job of hiding it with the kids, but as they get older I’m praying I’m in a position of recovery, but if not they will know that my love doesn’t stop and I will still be there for them ☺️ Your comment def gave me a lot to think about for the future ❤️ -M
@slicenrice I pray for healing for you Godcan heal anything or give us the strength as if it was never there. Also there are foods to consistently have in your diet too maintain your nerves and that help build nerves.
Diagnosed with RRMS in 2014, couldn’t walk, talk or see properly. I was told it would only get worse BUT GOD! What helped me was changing the negative internal dialogue and treating myself better. I was hating myself and my body was believing, once I changed that I was healed. I was on Tysabri for two years and then I had a baby… slowly but surely, I began to heal and it’s been 7 years of be being symptom free. God is faithful, we all need healing, hope this helps someone. Jesus is king.
@Pepsisodacan The fool says in his heart there is no God, corrupt are they and do abominable iniquity.... Usually the people who deny God the most are in the most need of Him and His presence. So, I'll simply pray that you come to saving Grace and a real knowledge of the Lord for your life and souls sake. Remember, that God loves you...when you can accept that, you can see how much he's saved you from and what good he has planned for you.
Silent viewer here… I’ve been watching you and your wife for years! Since before the wedding and babies and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your transparency and positivity. I recently have gotten married and I’m now my MIL’s caregiver. This illness is definitely a team thing. I never realized how someone’s else’s diagnosis or life could impact my life so much. I’m grateful for your videos because it has honestly helped me better understand her and have more compassion towards her and others. I just want to applaud your obedience to God because not only are you helping your family understand you better but also assisting other families in a positive way as well. I’m very grateful. May God continue to bless you and your family ❤️
Well hello there 🥹 this comment got me in the feels! (Glory) thank you for commenting this and so much respect to you for being your MIL’s caregiver. This is a family thing for sure and it helps us better understand how to have compassion, grace and understanding for one another. Thank you for watching us all these years and showing love. We really appreciate you and wish you the best. God bless you!
You look a lot healthier than the announcement video. I'm glad you're coping better. Stress makes it worse! Sending all my love and prayers to you and the family
My brother, who is also African American, was just diagnosed with MS yesterday, so seeing this video from a TH-camr who I've watched for such a long time now really struck me. Thank you for being so open with your audience-it’s incredibly comforting to see someone else who looks like family navigating this journey. Wishing you all comfort and strength.
thank you Matt for sharing and doing update videos. I would love to hear from Glory and her perspective as my by who is also African American struggles to relate to anyone.
Hi Matt my name is Carrie and I have had MS for the past 19 years and all glory to god I’m doing good. Keep up the positive energy MS is an illness of many griefs that happen yearly but you take it with strength and god and you will over come. You might notice something you were able to do last year that you can’t do or do differently this year and that’s okay. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. I totally understand when you said people say you don’t look sick. My saying is if I looked how I felt you would be scared lol I wish you and your family nothing but good health and happiness and most of all peace no one is worth your health and with MS peace heals. When you have the chance look into eating gluten free and no preservatives and no sugar and no beans they cause inflammation to the body that can make your MS worse and no soy it as well causes inflammation which can lead to more pain. I am so happy I came across your video
Thank you for sharing this with us. That’s a great point that “If I looked how I felt you would be scared.” It can feel like an “invisible disease” so that makes a lot of sense. And yes, we are slowly making progress to less gluten but it’s hard Ngl! We are always working to improve though. Thank you for this wonderful comment and you are a testament to being strong and living through God’s purpose❤️ - Glory
My grandma has had MS for more than 20 years now and she is amazing and living a happy life! You are not alone and have an army behind you! Take it day by day and you got this 💕 all my love to you and your family!
Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us how you are doing. As a long time follower and Marylander, i, and everyone else that follows you, truly care about you and your family! Thank you again Matt, and please take care but have patience with yourself!
Silent viewer here. Thank you for normalizing and bringing attention to autoimmune diseases. I don't have MS, but I was diagnosed with Lupus earlier this year after years of suffering. Hearing your experience helps me to feel less alone in my own battle. I hope your treatment continues to go well and I wish nothing but the best for you and your family.
Matt, thank you for sharing. As much as you and Glory have shared about your life over the years, this is one thing you are entitled to keep to yourself if you wanted to. I truly believe you are meant to be a voice for MS and encourage young people, especially young African American males, to take their health seriously. Someone out there needed to see this video, hopefully not feeling alone. Sending an abundance of love and prayers for you and Glory and your entire family. 💕🙏🏾
James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”. Will always be one of my top favorite must watch content creators because of videos like this. Will always hope and pray for the best Matt.🤞🏾💪🏾
You can definitely tell the treatments are doing something because you do look like you feel much better! Keep the faith, stay vigilant, and listen to your body. Love you guys!
I still haven’t watched the first video due to it being the anniversary of when I was diagnosed with RRMS. And also struggling with all the thoughts about what that means for me as a late 20’s black woman. I still have struggles and am receiving treatment. I think the hardest part is feeling like an outcast as a black woman specifically trying to find people that understand or community. I completely understand the fatigue, it’s hard to explain to others that no matter how much sleep I get, you are still exhausted. Thank you for being brave enough for sharing your story. ❤❤❤.
Keeping you in prayer, Matt. You are so strong. My cousin was diagnosed with MS and suffered 2 strokes, and is blind in one eye. She is only 32. Make sure that you stay on top of your stress because it can trigger flair ups. God has you. Try better help or another online therapist if there isn't one near you. God bless.
I love you and your wife!! You both are so transparent and genuine. Your family will continue to be blessed! And with tears in my eyes, I just want you all to know that I will for sure have you both in my prayers.🙏🏽
We rocking with you Matt you've got a solid support system and a beautiful family to keep going strong for. God got you fam praying for you and Glory my brother. 🙏🏾🙏🏾💯
Thank you for your honesty and openness! My friend’s husband also has MS and these two videos just gave me a lot of support! You and Glory are amazing! You guys make me laugh as well as inspire me! Glory always inspires me to be frugal and cook at home! You go girl! And Matt thank you for your openness! God bless you and your family!
thank you for the update! Tbh I think most people have heard of M.S. and knows of someone who has M.S. but i don’t think people REALLY know what exactly the disease is. Like people don’t really know all the symptoms that come with it. Like the laughing hysterically or crying out of nowhere without any control over it. I had no idea it affected the part of the brain that controls different emotions. I would love to hear more about your experiences and other symptoms that may come with it, the different treatments, or what causes the disease. Everyone should be educated on it and understand what the condition does, especially when most of the time nobody would ever know someone has it just by looking at them.Sending you and your family so much love and positive thoughts. you’re doing amazing, and have a wonderful family and support system , keep your chin up you got this! 💪🏻
Matt, you are strong, for speaking about MS and how it affects you, you are an inspiration to us all... me and my family are also behind you and Praying for you and your family.
Prayers for you brother! My grandfather had MS and it was tough seeing him go through that. Crazy you’re still doing your thing, keep it up and hoping for the best!
Thank you for sharing Matt! You and Glory don't have to be so open and vulnerable but you are ... and its so appreciated. Thank you for giving us the chance to pray for and love on you guys! Cheers! God will continue to bless yall!
Your positive attitude gives me hope. I have an autoimmune disease called hashimotos. I’m awaiting a mri to make sure I don’t need eye surgery due to inflammation behind my eyes. Fatigue is a big issue. And my insomnia is making that worse. Most don’t see me at my worst. I’m a single mum, so doing it alone. Seeing this video somehow makes me feel not so alone. Keep going ❤and keep fighting ❤ Having an autoimmune disease/chronic illness sucks but we can’t let our diagnosis take over our lives. ❤ Let’s learn to live with our diagnosis and be our best self’s ❤
Thank you for sharing this with us viewers, Matt. And I hope you know just how much joy and light that you and Glory bring to this space. Glad to see that you are doing better! We are all rooting for you!!
Thank God for healing Matt. The Lord has definitely got His hand of healing upon you. There are still hard days, as you said, but the peace and strength in your demeanor is really showing. God's not done yet.
Thank you Matt, I've been watching you and glory off and on for a while. I'm so happy to see you back on screen and more importantly seeing the community hug and hold you guys. Love y'all! Stay strong!
Praying for you guys. God isn’t finished with you Matt. Keep holding on, keep the faith because God is faithful and will be with you on this journey of healing. So thankful for you guys and the joy you have shared. It’s all for His glory, He sees you and loves you so much. It’s going to be a God did it healing story for you. God bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May His face turn towards you and give you perfect peace ❤❤❤❤
This is your cousin here in PA. I am continuing to pray for you, Glory, and the boys. You have a wonderful support system. I follow all of you and Glory's videos. Keep the faith and stay strong. God got you!!! 🙏🏾 👆🏾💙🫶🏽
We love you and your family for real Matt. This channel has brought us laughter, joy, love, awareness, and positivity over the years. God's got you. Love from South Africa. ❤️
Such a massive life changing adjustment to rearrange your life to accommodate your diagnosis, treatments, etc. I’m so glad to hear you found a medicine that is working well for you. Prayers for you and your family as you continue to adjust to your new reality. ❤
From my family to yours we send lots of prayers and love. You’re a very strong person by coming forward and sharing your MS story with us all. Thank You because you have really educated me a lot. Keep faith and positivity. ❤🙏
I’m on the same treatment! I’ve been on it since 2011 and it’s treated me really well. I have the same run down feeling at a week till I re-up, but once I get juiced up, it’s a good couple of weeks. 😊 I can relate to so much that you’ve shared here. Just want you to know you’re not alone. ❤
You are so strong for sharing your story. I can't imagine the courage it must take! You look great and love to see you in good spirits! And glad you are doing well!
It's so great to hear the treatments are working and you're doing better. Much love to you, Glory, and the whole family. I pray for your continued strength and endurance on this journey
So glad you are feeling a lot better. Wishing you, Glory & the babies the best on this journey. You WILL get through it. Prayers, love & healing to you Matt❤❤
Thank you and Glory for being so transparent about your faith. I'm so encouraged by both of you. I am praying for you both this morning and I know that God CAN DO MIRACLES!
Slice you bring so much laughter And joy I never notice a change in your energy. We're always happy to see you and glory together. Prayers to you and the family. Keep healing and feeling better we have you in our prayers😊
Thanks for the update Matt. I know this is tough for you and I appreciate you taking the time to let us know how you’re doing ! Praying for you and your family continuously. 🫶🏾🥰
Thank you for taking the time to share updates& something so personal. Praying for you Matt, Glory& your family🙏🏻☺️💕Watching from Australia. May the lord continue to give you strength always.
This video brought me to tears, Matt. Thank you for your vulnerability and for allowing us to be part of your journey. Your hope and strength is admirable. I’m sending you and your family all the love always 🤍
you came across my mind about a week ago when i seen someone on tiktok with MS. glad you decided to update us! praying for you, glory and the kiddos !!
I’m so happy to see you smiling again and the light in your eyes. Would love to see a video of Glory explaining how she’s doing with when you guys found out about MS and how she’s doing with it now. Love you guys xx
Praying for you Matt! Love the support you get from Glory and fam. Been a long time watcher and supporter. I’d like to add my two cents to hopefully give you extra routes or options in aiding recovery too. Our bodies can definitely heal itself/improve to a much better state once we support it to a certain point, be that through diet, etc. as Glory is researching too. Diet really can be medicine, but also removing toxins from the body’s burden helps so much too, such as removing heavy metals (there are some links between heavy metals and MS), parasites, leaky gut, trigger foods etc. as our gut holds majority our immune system. A great functional/integrative medicine doctor would sure to be another great option on top of your current treatments (if affordable, and if it doesn’t interfere with any current meds). I’m sure they can at least give good personalised guidance in terms of your diet too. I hope if anything it just helps some more with the fatigue and other symptoms in between treatment Sending so much love
I want to thank you Matt for continuing to share your journey. It’s very inspiring. I don’t have MS but I do have an autoimmune disease so I understand some of the frustration you’re feeling. I pray for you and your family every day. We’re behind you 100% 🥰
Thank you for the update. Love your videos. You and Glory have the greatest vibes and really glad to hear you’re doing so much better. 😊 Love the comment about empathy and how to approach words of affirmation- that’s really helpful ❤
Thanks for sharing Matt! Your journey will help and guide someone else. God is with you. God bless you and your family. Stay strong. I’m praying for you.
Thanks for giving us an update & for bringing awareness. I'm continuously praying for your healing. Continue to take care of yourself. Please know that you guys always bring us joy whether it's a sit down chat or trying new foods etc.
Thank you so much Matt for sharing. We LOVE you and are so PROUD of you and Glory!! You have come a long way and the good work that the Lord began in you He will bring it to completion. Praying for complete healing over you in Jesus' Name!
I’m not an avid watcher, but I appreciate you doing these videos sharing your updates and journey. I care about your well being and it’s interesting to learn about MS through your experience. Praying for your health. 💕
Dang, I'm glad to run into this video. I have fibromyalgia which has alot of similarities to MS (symptom wise). It's difficult having an invisible disease. You look healthy on the outside but people don't realize the havoc going on the inside of your body. And no one's MS or fibro is the same. I like how you mentioned that it's not good to compare and tell people how they should handle their symptoms because not all treatments will help everyone the same way. Thank you for spreading awareness to illnesses such as these and giving encouragement to others!
Im so glad that the treatment makes you feel better! Matt, you are a light and we are praying for you and your family, always! We appreciate you more than you know. Your family is a blessing and I love seeing yall succeed!
So happy you're doing better! Infusions, fatigue, and the pain are no joke! I'll be sending this video to a few family members because you articulated so well how we autoimmune sufferers feel and what we need from our support system. Sometimes it hits better coming from someone else.
❤ What a lovely update! I’m not surprised the fear has left you. It’s part of the learning and recovery process. Slowing down and learning to take care of yourself is one of the most valuable lessons you’re teaching everyone here. Keep up the good work of self-care!
Matt, I am a 31 yr old female, and I am still horrible at asking for help. I had a rough childhood where I had to grow up fast, and unfortunately that trauma is built into me at this point. For some reason, I feel like if I open up and ask for help when im in a dark place that people will think im weak or invalidate what im feeling. It has taken a lot of help from my husband to learn to open up and not bottle it. I'm praying for your health and that you can find the right diet. The gut is an insane thing and what you put in your body does matter. Peace and love ✌️ ❤
I receive IV treatment 4 times/mo for NeuroSarcoidosis. I understand the chronic fatigue before infusions and I'm a super hero 2 weeks after it. Stay strong 💜
I usually dont comment. But this brought tears to my eyes! Praying so hard for you and the family. Laugh at all your videos and love watching the family prosper ❤ Thankful you have Glory who is sooo determined and loving !!! God bless you all!!!
Thank you for commenting. We see you and appreciate you so much for even taking the time to watch and show love to us. Means so much and God bless you as well❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing your update ! It’s so good to hear how you are doing! You are so strong, your strength really shines and lifts other people around you, including myself! Praying for you and your family. May you and your family always be happy and healthy. Ameen
I remember tearing up watching the first video you made about it just because of how heavy it was. Tearing up again with this one, but from a happier place seeing how well you and your fam are navigating everything. Y’all are amazing. Sending love and prayers always.💚🩵
Thank you for the update. God is good and I'm so glad to see how you are handling this situation. You and your family are in my prayers and so proud of you guys. God bless
I appreciate you sharing your journey with us because it's really none of our business. I will keep you all lifted in prayer. Finds ways to keep His peace within you and stay encouraged. ❤
Woooow Matt you sound and look so much brighter. So happy to hear all the progress you’ve been doing. Keep it up, praying for you, Glory and the kiddos.
Thank you for sharing your journey so transparently. It helps educate those of us not familiar with MS and also provides a realistic perspective to those with similar autoimmune diseases.
Heyyyy! It's so good to see you man. Ty so much for the update and for carrying yourself with so much grace. I definitely understand when it comes to struggling to find a therapist, and I know this will be resolved soon. You're absolutely amazing, and we have your back through it all❤
I’ve got so many struggles myself- mostly mental. Life sure is a crazy ride. Prayers to you and your family ❤ It sure does take a team, it took me too long to realize that!
Many blessings Matt I know everything is hard my son went through heart disease and it it always good to keep up with how you feel many blessings and prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽♥️♥️♥️♥️
I appreciate what you guys do, thanks for helping us feel better about what we deal with inside thanks for not giving up on what you want ,good to see you again my guy
God got you he never puts more on you than you can bear You are strong and kind individual everything is going to work out praying for your strength 🙏🏽 praying for your family as well to give them strength to continue to help you and all your friends when you have an illness that changes your life you definitely need a village to help you through. Give them the chance to help you I went through a life altering situation and it's very hard for me to ask for help as well but I will send out continuous prayers for you and your family and friends to help you along the way

I’m so glad you have shared this information. It helps those of us who are ignorant of MS. I’m praying your faith will be strong.
Thank God for healing Matt. The Lord has definitely got His hand of healing upon you. There are still hard days, as you said, but the peace and strength in your demeanor is really showing. God's not done yet.

I hope if anything it just helps some more with the fatigue and other symptoms in between treatment
Sending so much love
I want to thank you Matt for continuing to share your journey. It’s very inspiring. I don’t have MS but I do have an autoimmune disease so I understand some of the frustration you’re feeling. I pray for you and your family every day. We’re behind you 100% 🥰

Thank you for sharing your journey so transparently. It helps educate those of us not familiar with MS and also provides a realistic perspective to those with similar autoimmune diseases.
