I'm glad I got my Kazuha already. When he first came around Inazuma was on the horizon. this time it's Sumeru. I wouldn't stress too much about not getting the Sumeru characters their first time around though. if it's anything to go by, the Inazuma characters all got re-runs before the next region so if you miss them the first time around I know it's tough but they will show up again!
Same I got my kazuha during his first banner and im glad that i didnt skip as he really made my account. Plus we really don’t know when kazuha will return considering this is his 2nd banner. We can’t really be that hopeful that he would pull a xiao or childe to get a rerun so quickly.
Kazuha is sure worth, but I am able to 36* without him, so Heizou is in my wishlist priority. If Kazuha would come alongside him, I won't mind, really ;)
@@Victor-hv1iv lmao no worries. It means when you get 36 stars in the abyss. The abyss floors 9-12 reset every few weeks and each floor gives you 9 stars each, for a total of 36 if you clear every stage before the given time limit.
I don't have enough primos to get kazuha and have low pity (plus I'm on 50/50) but I'm sure as heck that I'll get at least c0 heizou. Spiral abyss is easy anyway so I'm just playing for fun and both anemo bois are both fun. I'm also lacking on anemo characters so 2.8 banners is heaven.
I don't think kazuha being called a 5* sucrose is an insult. Iirc it was called that by Theorycrafters. The problem is people underestimates Sucrose and thats why it might sound like an insult. Sucrose is pretty strong, imagine a 5* version of her self? Oh yea Kazuha.
Thats not how they used the "Kazuha is a 5 star Sucrose" before. They are saying that because why will they pull Kazuha if he is SUPER DUPER EXACT COPY of Sucrose. The only difference is that Kazuha is a 5 star so they saying that "Kazuha is worthless". So imagine Kazuha for them is just like Sucrose and he is not a dps so what is his worth? Thats what they are saying before. I am actually impressed that they are looking the "Kazuha is a 5 star Sucrose" at a good light now 🤣🤣🤣

People don't account for the fact that you can run Sucrose and Kazuha in different teams for abyss. I wonder how many people will skip a 5* carbon copy of bennett
From what I remember people used it to say there’s no point pulling him, since he’s barely better than Sucrose. Then we realize he’s basically a super buffed Sucrose with TToDS with 0 downtime with just his kit.
Kazuha definitely worth pulling Except it's depend on how much you want sumeru characters I think people skip kazuha first time around wasn't because he wasn't good, but because they happened to want ayaka or yoimiya more than kazu
I wanted him last year but Raiden and Yoimiya were near so I skipped and now, we got leaks and I'm definitely skipping him again for the archon and some of Sumeru's characters
I'm excited to finally add Kazuha to my team! I have the same reasoning as the Yelan players: yeah there's a similar 4-star but Kazuha is more FUN and engaging to play!
And I think that's the best answer. Instead of "is it worth it", look it up how the char plays and try to understand if you might have more fun playing it.
That's what I've been saying for ages! Kazuha kept me playing a whole 1 year without quitting Genshin. He's one of my very best confy characters and hasn't left my exploration team with Zhongli since I got both of them. After long and hard day at work enjoy just going around with Kazuha or doing coops with him is just so smooth. Love his Japanese VA, and love the traditional and old samurai talk of Kazuha. His story and his place in lore are beyond what I was expecting in 1.5 when he was officially announced. Yeah, for sure he's my favourite of all GI characters, tho I adore all of the once I've got. Something in his gameplay just makes me think: yeah, everything is going to be all right. Cheers mates!
Best mentality to have imo. Like for example with my Ayato. Not only is he aesthetically pleasing but he is also fun to use with his spam skill. Vergil-style baby. Now till this day, he is the only character I play until there's a new one I find interesting

My thoughts are this: I wanted Zhongli since he was released. This last banner, many many people advised he would no longer "be meta", so save my primos. I ignored them, got my boy and he has been on 90% of my teams ever since. Zero regrets. I feel the same way about Kazuha. Seen people advising to not pull, as Sumeru will change the meta. However, I've wanted him from the jump. Have played with him whenever he was a trial character during events and enjoyed his fluid game play. Will be pulling for him with guarantee and enough wishes to reach it. Got all his materials and a weapon ready to go. Getting the new anamo chap would be a bonus, but my 4 star luck is horrible, so I'm not holding my breath 🤣 Everyone, you do you and have fun with your characters 👌🏻
I think people who say “Dendro will change meta” have a really narrow vision. It’s not like Pyro/Cryo/Hydro/Electro (swirlable elements) will just disappear or get a tenfold reduction in damage after Sumeru drops. These elements will still do damage, and Kazuha will still be buffing this damage. Dendro will be an _alternative_ option, not a complete replacement for everything we knew before. Kazu will stay unscathed.
good luck on early pull and bunch of Heizous. I will be going for Heizou only cause he is on Kazuha banner(wouldn't mind c1😉). If he wasn't I'd wait to get him randomly or on another banner
The people who said,"zhongli is no longer a meta character" are either high or they don’t have zhongli. Like duude! If he is no longer a meta character,then why is he still the 2nd most used character in spiral abyss globally😑
I expect Sumeru have a difficult spike the same way inazuma was in mob design, so probably some more corrosion like effects from the go and even more CC immuny and floating mobs. So any buff unit on your account is useful. Bennet can only go so far.
Kazuha is always in my Open World teams, I couldn’t imaging playing there without him now. I’ll just mention few things not covered in detail in the video. He allows unlimited climbing as well as surpassing obstacles while climbing. - Surpassing obstacles: while climbing, jump behind and use E to jump mid air and keep climbing. - Infinite/faster climbing: detach from the climbing surface to jump mid air and keep climbing, regaining some Stamina in the process. His E is so convenient for killing groups of enemies and to gather all the loot in one spot in the Open World.
I have been able to 36 stars abyss without having Kazuha. Was planning before to pull for him but I'm contemplating if I actually need him or I want him just because of his design and gameplay.
Exactly this lol I like him regardless but I'm thinking I might skip what with 3.0 around the corner. Heizou being with him is an extra incentive but I don't have a need for either of them so it comes down to design and personality 🤔
I mean if you have a well built characters and with skills ofc you will 36 star abyss but I think Kazuha will be like a breathe of fresh air? Like thats how they describe it.
I’m so happy I got him the first time around. I had lost the 50/50 for Venti and needed a good Anemo unit other than Sucrose. He’s one of the most fun and powerful characters and has definitely provided me a lot of good utility.
I was lucky to get Kazuha on guaranteed when I was a low leveled player back in 1.6 and I can honestly say he's been a game-changer ever since. If you lost his first banner, I wish you luck and hope you'll get him this time. If you skipped his first banner, you better get him this time and hope you win. He's absolutely worth it.
When I first saw Zuzu last year, I immediately fell in love with him before he even came out. If you love a character and don’t care too much about their build, then I think it’s best to go for those type of characters. Zuzu was that for me (And yes, Zuzu is the nickname I like giving him, credit to jeikage)
Honestly though you should pull for those characters you do like and enjoy playstyle but I think kazuha is one of those characters who is so good and will continue to be good as anemo element as a whole is cracked Can't wait to pull him!
Exactly. Its all in how it feels. I rolled for Eula for meta reasons and it was a big regret as I just didnt like her kit at all. Wheras the others ive zeroed in on (ayaka and kazuha) ive tried repeatedly in event trials and click with their kit fundamentally
When Kazuha came out I immediately fell in love with his design. So even though I was unsure if I really NEED him for fight (because I already had Venti), I still pulled him and he became my absolute favorite character since then. His design is still my fave of all charakters, I love his character and backstories and he's so incredibly fun to play! I'm so happy I got him and I saved enough primos to get two more constellations this time! :)
kazuha is the reason i started playing genshin, my friend got me into the game when he released and i really wanted to get him, i never did, so ive always been waiting for him to re run, the confirmation of his re-run made me really excited, especially when i'm at 68 pity, been saving since xiao and yelans run, and a garuanteed 5 star, i'm really excited for him to come back so i can add him to my team

I started last year on Raiden's first banner. And while playing the story, when he blocked the Musou no Hitotachi, it gave me the super goosebumps. Finally, for us who have missed him, we have a chance to get him!
i wanted kaz the second i saw him. he was the first person i ever farmed matts for prior to release-back when the samurai boss was only available during a summer event. i never understood the pessimism he got during release, but then again the genshin community complains about everything. so I'm glad he proved all those haters wrong and left them begging for him for over a year :3
I’m really glad that i got kazu on his first banner! He was probably the first character where i didn’t consider how good his kit was, i just wanted him bc he was attractive lol but with his rerun, i’m def going for c2!
I love how they first released kazuha just as when they released the first inazuma sneak peaks. They probably waited again to release his rerun so that it'd match the release of the first Sumeru sneak peaks. Cheeky.
Kazuha’s personality is quite calm i love him so much i need him asap😭 his playstyle is amazing and i love that he’s a free soul I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM again i need him asap
What I've learned from playing Genshin for almost 2 years now is that Supports/Sub-DPS/Utilities can be much more powerful than your DPS, a lot of the supports are indispensable. This is why National Team works, a team primarily built with Supports and Sub-DPS
His banner sales were very low. Your perception is probably biased because the people that did roll for him were very happy with the result and voiced it.

At least he's not running just before a long anticipated character like Ayaka was on his first run. Meaning people who pull for him can still manage to save up for Sumeru characters too. But there's no doubt Hoyo is trying to strip players off their saved primogems to increase spending when Sumeru hits.

I've seen the new enemies that Sumeru will bring and I would say that Dendro characters or Sumeru characters, in general, would not make a big difference on my account since the new enemies are just revamped versions of the already existing monsters in the Spiral Abyss. With this reasoning, you will most likely want to pull for someone that has been proven will increase your overall team's damage and rather than wait and gamble on the new characters' kits that we still don't have in our own hands.

Thanks for this! I see a lot of TH-camrs saying "I'm not saying he's bad, but his value is going to go down" rather than pointing the pros in him. Personally I think as long as his em kit isn't nerfed, he will always be worth it!
2.8 is proving to be everything I hoped for and more, Kazuha has been one of my favorite characters ever since I first saw him during the main questline (loved his voice and design so much), and everything I've seen about him as a unit ever since has only comforted me in the idea that he is a must pull for me. My Ayato-Xiangling team could really benefit from his utility! Plus, anemo is my favorite element, so with Heizhou on his banner, I really cannot wait for it!
Disagree about Fav over Iron Sting. The optimal layout gets all the ER you need off substats, and can hit 1000 EM even with Iron Sting (given exceptional EM subs on flower/feather). Edit: Fav artifacts are harder to find good ones, too, because now you need a good CR without being able to use a crit hat. Whereas Iron Sting Kazuha literally only cares about ER substats on 3 pieces, and ER + EM on feather/flower.
He is my windchild lol. That sounds weird but let me explain the minute Kazuha was announced, I was like dude he is a wind Samurai.........MUST HAVE and after going through I think 3 days of pulling for him, he finally came home. After that I tried him out and he was very very fun to use so next I had to try to get a weapon for him and thankfully through research I did find that the dark iron sword was a great alternative for him and I've been using that ever since. Same with VV as I was able to get so many copies from my grinding sessions in the past that the set I have with him definitely works with him a whole lot and to this day he has not left my main team. Even after I friendship level ten'd him he has not left that team with best girl pirate captain electo mommy. Not to mention both of his voice actors are just really good like you have his English one who voices a cool character in 3 houses and in 3 hopes recently and he is also Kyourou Rengoku from Demon Slayer and in Japanese he is Shido from Date A Live. So yeah Kazuha is indeed a character I love a whole lot and while yeah I know the fav sword is his best free to play option I just love the dark iron sword so much because it actually matches his esthetic and it served me so well. Plus I almost never pay attention to leakers all that much and the same goes for the meta even when he came out originally because hes still fun even if you ignore meta and we don't know anything about Sumeru all that much and the same with characters yet so while I am skipping the banner for Kazuha, I am still going to draw it for Heizou. From the amount of times I've watched past Genshin related videos, Genshin content creators mention Kazuha for god knows how many times now being in the their teams, I think it's fair to say we should pull for him. You're not gonna get another character like Kazuha that can provide many team comps utility with his skill and burst the way he does and being the one player of many that didn't pull for him when he first dropped last year because I didn't see his potential until many Genshin videos/posts about him later on made me a firm believer that he is worth pulling.
I mean realistically speaking Sucrose comes pretty damn close with the exception of her being worse in mono and freeze, but there's just some comps where she is just irreplaceable like Suc Taser or Sukokomon
I remember trying so hard to win the 50/50 but Diluc came home instead. Now I have a guaranteed Kazuha and I shall not miss this opportunity. Hopefully I get Heizou as well.

I've been farming and saving for Kazuha since the Raiden rerun. I'm so excited that it's finally here! And Heizou looks so fun. Very happy to finally have a banner with 4*s I actually want.
What I like the most about the Anemo support is that they are all unique and useful in different scenarios Venti is the king of CC while also being able to give 15 energy refund to swirled element making him the perfect fit for freeze comp with Ayaka or Ganyu but his CC nowadays can only affect half of the enemy available on top of pulling up enemies out of melee reach making him a very situational god tier Sucrose is great at applying swirl while on field and having a huge area when using her skill making her able to deal insane reaction damage by taking advantage of all elements on the field, like for example Sukokomon or Taser comp. The problem with her is that her burst is very situational, it pushes enemies away making it terrible for melee characters and it is harder to apply elements to her burst unlike Kazuha or Venti for her 20% damage bonus at C6 and just the extra reaction dmg, her EM bonus is great, though a lot harder to use than Kazuha elemental damage buff Kazuha is a generalist that buff elemental damage which can be used regardless of whether you want to do reaction or not, making him a great option in almost any situation and especially on mono element team like mono pyro/cryo/electro. His E pulls all enemies toward him at the center and his burst has wide AOE without pushing enemies away on top of being able to use his skill to dodge attacks making his gameplay very fun while being optimal and easy to use. Oh and at C2 and or with his weapon his buff is even more insane and making him broken unlike Venti who has no useful cons Jean and Sayu are great by default just because they can use VV on top of healing the whole team. Jean being the most effective and self-sustain healer is a plus, just slap her with fav sword and full VV and you are good to go, her C2 and C4 are great too if you happen to get her by losing 50/50. She can also do some CC and take advantage of fall damage but sadly that is less relevant nowadays when everyone can do big PP damage easily
To add, I think what Kazuha excels at what others fail to do well is shredding elemental shields. Patch 1.6 was when Kazuha was released - around the same time Abyss heralds/lectors were in the Abyss. So kazuha was really helpful with dealimg witj tjem.
I think the healing would be excluded but slightly more damage buff and less particle generation. Maybe polearm to not have ttds or elegy to just circumvent the weaknesses.
@@calvin659 unless the buff follows the active character instead of being a circle on the floor. Bonus points if it's a shield or a source of coordinated attacks.
kazuha was my first limited 5 star character, first lvl 90 and crowned character too. i love him so much. since the beginning ive had him as a dps, recently i got him a full em build and honestly it feels like a whole new character. he's the perfect character imo
Thank you for clarifying that an EM build Kazuha can actually be Kazuha's most damaging kit 😭 I've seen a lot of people advocate for crit Kazuha when EM Kazuha is generally just so much more helpful and can be a lot more damaging in more situations.
I pulled for him in the past strictly since I liked the idea of fast venti jumps, the "actually good" combat usage was just a bonus. Wish you all gl on pulls
Hey Sevy, totally random but did you ever notice in the recent event "hidden dreams in the depths" that all the characters trapped with the traveller and xiao were the same elements as xiao's fallen yaksha brothers and sisters. Yelan - hydro yaksha , yanfei - pyro , kuki - electro, itto - geo
Kazuha was THAT OP that Hoyoverse didn't want everyone to have him otherwise all content will be so much easier! Element infusion, more that one enemy, one Kazuha E = OVER. Now, I feel Sumeru content will be HARDER if they're willing to give players the power of Kazuha...
Are you serious, Mihoyo just keep Kazuha until here because they want us to waste all of our primo gems on him and them have to use wallet-kun for Sumeru they’re not making anything harder but I hope they do

Kazuha was the first character after Hu Tao that I was super excited for and was surprised that he wasn’t really pulled for. He’s for sure my favorite character and I’ve used him every single day since I pulled him. The way his ult just shreds everything is crazy. I will always recommend him - he’ll probably be part of my party for years to come.
Kazuha is still one of the widely used characters for spiral abyss that should speak volumes about how good he is Also his abilities are fun to use for exploring and just in combat But if do try him out in the trial and see if you like him, cause if you don't then there is ni reason for you to pull for him. There will be plenty of very strong characters so just pull for whoever you want and enjoy them.
My bf convinced me to pull for him on the last day of his banner last year because I really wanted a male samurai character to play as and we didn’t know if anymore were going to be in the Inazuma roster, and we had no idea what Ayato’s gameplay was going to be like at the time. I pulled for the samurai drip and I ended up getting a ton of meta use out of him too which was nice.
YES. I kinda hesitated to continue pulling for him after I got Jean on hard pity coz I just need an anemo for my Ayaka team comp but since I already farmed his materials beforehand, I continued to pull and got him on 165th wish. I'm enjoying my new party a lot because of him. His E and burst are so pretty to look at and climbing is so much easier now. I really like his character design the first I saw him before going to Inazuma so I'm happy that I can use him everytime.
i wasn't playing genshin when his first banner came, though i knew him since i watched his character demo for a bunch of times and took a liking to him. now that im playing, yes im getting u home
I love kazuha so much. My friends been on the fence about pulling for him. So I let him test my kazuha in co-op with his characters so he could see how he would help/change up things. He now has a guaranteed kazuha and is gunning for him.
Kazuha broke through my shields last Summer and got me to start playing Genshin. I was lucky enough to get him in the final days of the banner and I have not regretted one minute. I am happy to know that Kazuha and Heizou get along fine for I am hoping to get a Heizou or three if lucky in the next banner. I don't have a habit of pulling for 5-star constellations, but I won't be upset if Kazuha shows up. Even though that would mean losing guarantee for the first Sumeru banner.
I pulled on his banner release but got Keqing last year. I'm guaranteed on the banner now so he will never escape me this time. I can't wait for his banner to arrive.
I've been waiting for Kazuha to return for a while due to the fact i accidently got Freedom Sworn when going for Eula her weapon, since then i wanted Kazuha as i really enjoy his playstyle and i need an anemo 5 star, THIS MAN WILL HOPEFULLY COME HOME!

I wanted bennet during his first banner and won 50:50 to kazuha. I was upset cause I wanted ayaka back then (and I didn't get ayaka during her first banner) but now I'm grateful that I got Kazuha as I clear abyss very easily with him even with 4star weapon and c0. Ps : I got ayaka and her weapon on their rerun, YAY!!
I regret not getting Kazuha in his first banner. I was new to the game and I did not know much about pulling for characters at the time. And then Kazuha impressed me so much, especially in the quests that he's in and the events that he's a trial character. I hope I get both him and Heizou.
Kazuha was the first ever five star I ever got! (I pulled for him because I thought he was cute, lmao) It took me a few months to get around building him, but I’m so glad I did because he’s been a staple of my Chongyun-Bennett team ever since. He’s also my go-to for exploring now, since his skill is so versatile.
I’ve been wanting him for so long but after the. 3.0 leaks( All I will say no spoilers) , it’s a hard choice if I should roll for kazuha or save. Video definitely helps thank you.
I'm a relatively new player (it's been about a year, but I only started playing frequently about a month ago due to my studies), and wanted to pull for Kazuha, but I only just started saving primogems and was heartbroken to hear the rerun was next patch, because I won't be able to have enough primos for him by then T^T
As you said, Kazuha is just so much fun to play that (if you like his playstyle during the tryout) you definitely won't regret it! He's also AMAZING for farming enemy drops because his skill will gather them all to one single point instead of having to run around to search for them!
He is very amazing on overworld exploration. People tend to underestimate that. His overworld passive is sprinting stamina reduction -20% coupled and further reduction with another anemo character, and his capability to fly midair is also another thing that made him really good. He is also very smooth to play, you don't need strict positioning to swirl properly. I can guarantee that once you get him, you will never get him out of your team anywhere, and everywhere. I cannot fanthom the reason of skipping him overall, unless you just hate his aesthetic or waifu-bias.
I've been 36* the abyss since forever without Kazuha, and that's not going to change. I've also looked at some of the leaked characters in Sumeru, and maybe only 1-2 of them actually interest me. So it's just saving time for me lol
True I'm sometimes troubled with Venti auto aim. I was so used to Kazuha's mechanic so when I got Venti on rererun I was shocked as to why I was so bad at using Venti's ult
I’ll be pulling for him, I took a chance and burned 20 more pills into pity after losing the 50/50 on ittos banner, trying to pull another copy of Shenobu but I can’t risk any more risk of pulling early 5-star and getting Itto. Losing 50/50 told me I was meant to pull kazuha, now I hope I get at least one copy of heizo he looks super fun to play. I’m ten fates away from a guaranteed kazuha so ya it’s a sure thing. I’ll even go a little extra to also get heizo
I think what makes the CC better for Kazuha is that its in his E rather than Q like Venti, no need to worry about particle gain and just spam away. This led to many opportunities both in combat and exploration which you already mentioned in the Why Kazuha is Fun segment
Hmm i actually never have a problem with venti's particle gain because of r5 favonius bow lols. im not sure if that is the best weapon for him tho but with it, i usually have full burst for most of my characters after venti's burst. 100% still getting kazuha tho HAHAHA because my issue with venti is that his cc is hard to control and kinda useless with immovable enemies unlike kazuha's burst that give wide buff.
As soon as I got the Freedom-Sworn, I started Pre building for Kazuha. The Prebuild is complete. a Tri-EM Main stat 4pc-VV with Decent ER. and Best of all, I have enough materials collected to Max him out all the way to triple Crown. All I'm lacking now is the primos to pull

I'm glad I got my Kazuha already. When he first came around Inazuma was on the horizon. this time it's Sumeru. I wouldn't stress too much about not getting the Sumeru characters their first time around though. if it's anything to go by, the Inazuma characters all got re-runs before the next region so if you miss them the first time around I know it's tough but they will show up again!

@@Victor-hv1iv lmao no worries. It means when you get 36 stars in the abyss. The abyss floors 9-12 reset every few weeks and each floor gives you 9 stars each, for a total of 36 if you clear every stage before the given time limit.
I don't have enough primos to get kazuha and have low pity (plus I'm on 50/50) but I'm sure as heck that I'll get at least c0 heizou. Spiral abyss is easy anyway so I'm just playing for fun and both anemo bois are both fun. I'm also lacking on anemo characters so 2.8 banners is heaven.
My tip for farming VV: you can use 4* EM mainstat circlet/goblet/sand too. You will lose 50 EM. That won't make much a difference.

I don't think kazuha being called a 5* sucrose is an insult. Iirc it was called that by Theorycrafters. The problem is people underestimates Sucrose and thats why it might sound like an insult. Sucrose is pretty strong, imagine a 5* version of her self? Oh yea Kazuha.

From what I remember people used it to say there’s no point pulling him, since he’s barely better than Sucrose. Then we realize he’s basically a super buffed Sucrose with TToDS with 0 downtime with just his kit.

I'm excited to finally add Kazuha to my team! I have the same reasoning as the Yelan players: yeah there's a similar 4-star but Kazuha is more FUN and engaging to play!

Instead of "is it worth it", look it up how the char plays and try to understand if you might have more fun playing it.
That's what I've been saying for ages! Kazuha kept me playing a whole 1 year without quitting Genshin. He's one of my very best confy characters and hasn't left my exploration team with Zhongli since I got both of them. After long and hard day at work enjoy just going around with Kazuha or doing coops with him is just so smooth. Love his Japanese VA, and love the traditional and old samurai talk of Kazuha. His story and his place in lore are beyond what I was expecting in 1.5 when he was officially announced. Yeah, for sure he's my favourite of all GI characters, tho I adore all of the once I've got. Something in his gameplay just makes me think: yeah, everything is going to be all right.

Best mentality to have imo. Like for example with my Ayato. Not only is he aesthetically pleasing but he is also fun to use with his spam skill. Vergil-style baby. Now till this day, he is the only character I play until there's a new one I find interesting

My thoughts are this: I wanted Zhongli since he was released. This last banner, many many people advised he would no longer "be meta", so save my primos. I ignored them, got my boy and he has been on 90% of my teams ever since. Zero regrets. I feel the same way about Kazuha. Seen people advising to not pull, as Sumeru will change the meta. However, I've wanted him from the jump. Have played with him whenever he was a trial character during events and enjoyed his fluid game play. Will be pulling for him with guarantee and enough wishes to reach it. Got all his materials and a weapon ready to go. Getting the new anamo chap would be a bonus, but my 4 star luck is horrible, so I'm not holding my breath 🤣 Everyone, you do you and have fun with your characters 👌🏻
I think people who say “Dendro will change meta” have a really narrow vision. It’s not like Pyro/Cryo/Hydro/Electro (swirlable elements) will just disappear or get a tenfold reduction in damage after Sumeru drops. These elements will still do damage, and Kazuha will still be buffing this damage. Dendro will be an _alternative_ option, not a complete replacement for everything we knew before. Kazu will stay unscathed.

I expect Sumeru have a difficult spike the same way inazuma was in mob design, so probably some more corrosion like effects from the go and even more CC immuny and floating mobs.

Kazuha is always in my Open World teams, I couldn’t imaging playing there without him now. I’ll just mention few things not covered in detail in the video.
He allows unlimited climbing as well as surpassing obstacles while climbing.
- Surpassing obstacles: while climbing, jump behind and use E to jump mid air and keep climbing.
- Infinite/faster climbing: detach from the climbing surface to jump mid air and keep climbing, regaining some Stamina in the process.
His E is so convenient for killing groups of enemies and to gather all the loot in one spot in the Open World.

I have been able to 36 stars abyss without having Kazuha. Was planning before to pull for him but I'm contemplating if I actually need him or I want him just because of his design and gameplay.

I’m so happy I got him the first time around. I had lost the 50/50 for Venti and needed a good Anemo unit other than Sucrose. He’s one of the most fun and powerful characters and has definitely provided me a lot of good utility.
I was lucky to get Kazuha on guaranteed when I was a low leveled player back in 1.6 and I can honestly say he's been a game-changer ever since. If you lost his first banner, I wish you luck and hope you'll get him this time. If you skipped his first banner, you better get him this time and hope you win. He's absolutely worth it.
When I first saw Zuzu last year, I immediately fell in love with him before he even came out. If you love a character and don’t care too much about their build, then I think it’s best to go for those type of characters. Zuzu was that for me

When Kazuha came out I immediately fell in love with his design. So even though I was unsure if I really NEED him for fight (because I already had Venti), I still pulled him and he became my absolute favorite character since then. His design is still my fave of all charakters, I love his character and backstories and he's so incredibly fun to play! I'm so happy I got him and I saved enough primos to get two more constellations this time! :)
kazuha is the reason i started playing genshin, my friend got me into the game when he released and i really wanted to get him, i never did, so ive always been waiting for him to re run, the confirmation of his re-run made me really excited, especially when i'm at 68 pity, been saving since xiao and yelans run, and a garuanteed 5 star, i'm really excited for him to come back so i can add him to my team

I started last year on Raiden's first banner. And while playing the story, when he blocked the Musou no Hitotachi, it gave me the super goosebumps. Finally, for us who have missed him, we have a chance to get him!

i wanted kaz the second i saw him. he was the first person i ever farmed matts for prior to release-back when the samurai boss was only available during a summer event. i never understood the pessimism he got during release, but then again the genshin community complains about everything. so I'm glad he proved all those haters wrong and left them begging for him for over a year :3

What I've learned from playing Genshin for almost 2 years now is that Supports/Sub-DPS/Utilities can be much more powerful than your DPS, a lot of the supports are indispensable. This is why National Team works, a team primarily built with Supports and Sub-DPS

I would agree. I've seen the new enemies that Sumeru will bring and I would say that Dendro characters or Sumeru characters, in general, would not make a big difference on my account since the new enemies are just revamped versions of the already existing monsters in the Spiral Abyss. With this reasoning, you will most likely want to pull for someone that has been proven will increase your overall team's damage and rather than wait and gamble on the new characters' kits that we still don't have in our own hands.

2.8 is proving to be everything I hoped for and more, Kazuha has been one of my favorite characters ever since I first saw him during the main questline (loved his voice and design so much), and everything I've seen about him as a unit ever since has only comforted me in the idea that he is a must pull for me. My Ayato-Xiangling team could really benefit from his utility! Plus, anemo is my favorite element, so with Heizhou on his banner, I really cannot wait for it!
Disagree about Fav over Iron Sting. The optimal layout gets all the ER you need off substats, and can hit 1000 EM even with Iron Sting (given exceptional EM subs on flower/feather).
Edit: Fav artifacts are harder to find good ones, too, because now you need a good CR without being able to use a crit hat. Whereas Iron Sting Kazuha literally only cares about ER substats on 3 pieces, and ER + EM on feather/flower.

When Kazuha first came I needed 5 more wishes to get him, since I lost 50/50 (as always). This time i'll get him, no matter what.
He is my windchild lol. That sounds weird but let me explain the minute Kazuha was announced, I was like dude he is a wind Samurai.........MUST HAVE and after going through I think 3 days of pulling for him, he finally came home. After that I tried him out and he was very very fun to use so next I had to try to get a weapon for him and thankfully through research I did find that the dark iron sword was a great alternative for him and I've been using that ever since. Same with VV as I was able to get so many copies from my grinding sessions in the past that the set I have with him definitely works with him a whole lot and to this day he has not left my main team. Even after I friendship level ten'd him he has not left that team with best girl pirate captain electo mommy. Not to mention both of his voice actors are just really good like you have his English one who voices a cool character in 3 houses and in 3 hopes recently and he is also Kyourou Rengoku from Demon Slayer and in Japanese he is Shido from Date A Live. So yeah Kazuha is indeed a character I love a whole lot and while yeah I know the fav sword is his best free to play option I just love the dark iron sword so much because it actually matches his esthetic and it served me so well. Plus I almost never pay attention to leakers all that much and the same goes for the meta even when he came out originally because hes still fun even if you ignore meta and we don't know anything about Sumeru all that much and the same with characters yet so while I am skipping the banner for Kazuha, I am still going to draw it for Heizou. Overall a very good solid video on the wind ronin Sevy!
From the amount of times I've watched past Genshin related videos, Genshin content creators mention Kazuha for god knows how many times now being in the their teams, I think it's fair to say we should pull for him. You're not gonna get another character like Kazuha that can provide many team comps utility with his skill and burst the way he does and being the one player of many that didn't pull for him when he first dropped last year because I didn't see his potential until many Genshin videos/posts about him later on made me a firm believer that he is worth pulling.
I mean realistically speaking Sucrose comes pretty damn close with the exception of her being worse in mono and freeze, but there's just some comps where she is just irreplaceable like Suc Taser or Sukokomon

I remember trying so hard to win the 50/50 but Diluc came home instead. Now I have a guaranteed Kazuha and I shall not miss this opportunity. Hopefully I get Heizou as well.

I've been farming and saving for Kazuha since the Raiden rerun. I'm so excited that it's finally here! And Heizou looks so fun. Very happy to finally have a banner with 4*s I actually want.
What I like the most about the Anemo support is that they are all unique and useful in different scenarios
Venti is the king of CC while also being able to give 15 energy refund to swirled element making him the perfect fit for freeze comp with Ayaka or Ganyu but his CC nowadays can only affect half of the enemy available on top of pulling up enemies out of melee reach making him a very situational god tier
Sucrose is great at applying swirl while on field and having a huge area when using her skill making her able to deal insane reaction damage by taking advantage of all elements on the field, like for example Sukokomon or Taser comp. The problem with her is that her burst is very situational, it pushes enemies away making it terrible for melee characters and it is harder to apply elements to her burst unlike Kazuha or Venti for her 20% damage bonus at C6 and just the extra reaction dmg, her EM bonus is great, though a lot harder to use than Kazuha elemental damage buff
Kazuha is a generalist that buff elemental damage which can be used regardless of whether you want to do reaction or not, making him a great option in almost any situation and especially on mono element team like mono pyro/cryo/electro. His E pulls all enemies toward him at the center and his burst has wide AOE without pushing enemies away on top of being able to use his skill to dodge attacks making his gameplay very fun while being optimal and easy to use. Oh and at C2 and or with his weapon his buff is even more insane and making him broken unlike Venti who has no useful cons
Jean and Sayu are great by default just because they can use VV on top of healing the whole team. Jean being the most effective and self-sustain healer is a plus, just slap her with fav sword and full VV and you are good to go, her C2 and C4 are great too if you happen to get her by losing 50/50. She can also do some CC and take advantage of fall damage but sadly that is less relevant nowadays when everyone can do big PP damage easily

To add, I think what Kazuha excels at what others fail to do well is shredding elemental shields. Patch 1.6 was when Kazuha was released - around the same time Abyss heralds/lectors were in the Abyss. So kazuha was really helpful with dealimg witj tjem.

I think the healing would be excluded but slightly more damage buff and less particle generation. Maybe polearm to not have ttds or elegy to just circumvent the weaknesses.

kazuha was my first limited 5 star character, first lvl 90 and crowned character too. i love him so much. since the beginning ive had him as a dps, recently i got him a full em build and honestly it feels like a whole new character. he's the perfect character imo
Thank you for clarifying that an EM build Kazuha can actually be Kazuha's most damaging kit 😭 I've seen a lot of people advocate for crit Kazuha when EM Kazuha is generally just so much more helpful and can be a lot more damaging in more situations.

Kazuha was the first character after Hu Tao that I was super excited for and was surprised that he wasn’t really pulled for. He’s for sure my favorite character and I’ve used him every single day since I pulled him. The way his ult just shreds everything is crazy. I will always recommend him - he’ll probably be part of my party for years to come.
Kazuha is still one of the widely used characters for spiral abyss that should speak volumes about how good he is

But if do try him out in the trial and see if you like him, cause if you don't then there is ni reason for you to pull for him. There will be plenty of very strong characters so just pull for whoever you want and enjoy them.
My bf convinced me to pull for him on the last day of his banner last year because I really wanted a male samurai character to play as and we didn’t know if anymore were going to be in the Inazuma roster, and we had no idea what Ayato’s gameplay was going to be like at the time. I pulled for the samurai drip and I ended up getting a ton of meta use out of him too which was nice.

I kinda hesitated to continue pulling for him after I got Jean on hard pity coz I just need an anemo for my Ayaka team comp but since I already farmed his materials beforehand, I continued to pull and got him on 165th wish.
I'm enjoying my new party a lot because of him. His E and burst are so pretty to look at and climbing is so much easier now.

I love kazuha so much. My friends been on the fence about pulling for him. So I let him test my kazuha in co-op with his characters so he could see how he would help/change up things. He now has a guaranteed kazuha and is gunning for him.
Kazuha broke through my shields last Summer and got me to start playing Genshin. I was lucky enough to get him in the final days of the banner and I have not regretted one minute. I am happy to know that Kazuha and Heizou get along fine for I am hoping to get a Heizou or three if lucky in the next banner. I don't have a habit of pulling for 5-star constellations, but I won't be upset if Kazuha shows up. Even though that would mean losing guarantee for the first Sumeru banner.
I pulled on his banner release but got Keqing last year. I'm guaranteed on the banner now so he will never escape me this time. I can't wait for his banner to arrive.
I've been waiting for Kazuha to return for a while due to the fact i accidently got Freedom Sworn when going for Eula her weapon, since then i wanted Kazuha as i really enjoy his playstyle and i need an anemo 5 star, THIS MAN WILL HOPEFULLY COME HOME!

I wanted bennet during his first banner and won 50:50 to kazuha. I was upset cause I wanted ayaka back then (and I didn't get ayaka during her first banner) but now I'm grateful that I got Kazuha as I clear abyss very easily with him even with 4star weapon and c0.

I regret not getting Kazuha in his first banner. I was new to the game and I did not know much about pulling for characters at the time. And then Kazuha impressed me so much, especially in the quests that he's in and the events that he's a trial character. I hope I get both him and Heizou.
Kazuha was the first ever five star I ever got! (I pulled for him because I thought he was cute, lmao) It took me a few months to get around building him, but I’m so glad I did because he’s been a staple of my Chongyun-Bennett team ever since. He’s also my go-to for exploring now, since his skill is so versatile.

I'm a relatively new player (it's been about a year, but I only started playing frequently about a month ago due to my studies), and wanted to pull for Kazuha, but I only just started saving primogems and was heartbroken to hear the rerun was next patch, because I won't be able to have enough primos for him by then T^T

As you said, Kazuha is just so much fun to play that (if you like his playstyle during the tryout) you definitely won't regret it! He's also AMAZING for farming enemy drops because his skill will gather them all to one single point instead of having to run around to search for them!

He is very amazing on overworld exploration. People tend to underestimate that. His overworld passive is sprinting stamina reduction -20% coupled and further reduction with another anemo character, and his capability to fly midair is also another thing that made him really good. He is also very smooth to play, you don't need strict positioning to swirl properly. I can guarantee that once you get him, you will never get him out of your team anywhere, and everywhere. I cannot fanthom the reason of skipping him overall, unless you just hate his aesthetic or waifu-bias.
I got a guaranteed pull ready for him. At 65 right now. Coming off a 7 pull Mona off banner so my luck is hot rn.

I’ll be pulling for him, I took a chance and burned 20 more pills into pity after losing the 50/50 on ittos banner, trying to pull another copy of Shenobu but I can’t risk any more risk of pulling early 5-star and getting Itto. Losing 50/50 told me I was meant to pull kazuha, now I hope I get at least one copy of heizo he looks super fun to play. I’m ten fates away from a guaranteed kazuha so ya it’s a sure thing. I’ll even go a little extra to also get heizo

I think what makes the CC better for Kazuha is that its in his E rather than Q like Venti, no need to worry about particle gain and just spam away. This led to many opportunities both in combat and exploration which you already mentioned in the Why Kazuha is Fun segment
Hmm i actually never have a problem with venti's particle gain because of r5 favonius bow lols. im not sure if that is the best weapon for him tho but with it, i usually have full burst for most of my characters after venti's burst.
100% still getting kazuha tho HAHAHA because my issue with venti is that his cc is hard to control and kinda useless with immovable enemies unlike kazuha's burst that give wide buff.
As soon as I got the Freedom-Sworn, I started Pre building for Kazuha. The Prebuild is complete. a Tri-EM Main stat 4pc-VV with Decent ER. and Best of all, I have enough materials collected to Max him out all the way to triple Crown. All I'm lacking now is the primos to pull
