    Mangoes - 1 KG
    Red Chilli Powder - 200 Gms
    Mustard Seeds Powder (Ava Pindi) - 200 Gms
    Rock Salt Powder. - 200 Gms
    Garlic Cloves. - 100 Gms
    Fenugreek Seeds Powder (Menthi Podi) - 1 tablespoon
    Ground Nut Oil - 250 Gms or 300 Gms

    Small suggestions akka
    1. Titles showing rock salt. If possible change to sea salt.
    2. Sourness of raw mango is very important to keep in mind. Low sourness, low mustard powder, low salt, low chilli powder etc. More sourness, more powders. But extra or low with in 50-100 grams range only.
    3. Plastic is not good for storing pickle. It will get bad smell in 3-4 months. Use only glass bottle or ceramic jaadi.

    hi, I am your fan, I like your video's. We tried mango pickle but its very hot. i took 18 mangoes or 2 and half kg piece after cleaning, half kg chilly powder, mustard, salt, 5 days over its too much hot. any suggestion please

      1)add more mangoes or
      2) add lime juice or vinegar ,or
      3) dilute dry mango powder with oil
      so as to form a loose paste,or
      4) add a thick syrup of jaggery,or
      5) make a paste with vinegar and dry
      dates and dilute with oil, or
      6)last of all mince chow- chow into very small pieces ( half kilo would do) ( the chow - chow should be hard, big and mature...please remove the hard outer skin, you can cut the inner seed too after removing the outer peel). Now pour warm oil over the mixed pickle (it should cover the pickle) tie a cloth over the lid of your pickle jar(bharani) and keep it in the sunlight for a week or more .Dont use it instantaneously because this pickle matures with time when the mango releases it juices into the ingredients and a thick aromatic gravy is formed. Dont worry because
      "to err is human, to "ADJUST"is Divine ( the wine )
