Didn't expect to see a car model addict that also happens to have a 2016 mk7 GTI like me lol. My norev GTI model is also color-mismatched with my real car. My scale model is in Oryx white while my real car is in limestone grey. Just ordered the ID R model from ebay, got a deal for around $140, and your video was the 2nd one to pop up, thanks for the review and the heads up about the wing situation, appreciate it 🙏
@@baumgartenjordan I still really enjoy driving it and the way it handles. Been treating me quite well so far, and the dsg gearbox has been solid. Very minor issues with rattling and squeaking, and the coolant reservoir had to be replaced under warrenty once due to leakage. Although granted, I only got it to 70k Kilometers (around 44k miles) so far. Edit: forgot to mention that mine is euro spec/german built so I'm missing out on the manual handbrake haha
@@baumgartenjordan update, received my ID R model, at first I thought it had a wing alignment issue as you mentioned, but turned out, you just have to force the 2 sides in and then it'll click with the top side, it'll then be secured and very stable after the click, no glue was used I was afraid that the force would break it (as I did accidentally break an F40 wing before lol) but seems like it was meant to clip in
6:38-6:53 Truthfully said. But your collection accompanies an explanation of the models, filled with individual meaning. Watch you video about AUTOart gt3 rs/ orange, when could not decide on the color.... but ended up buying two)) to my small collection( AA blue viper ACR, Jag E- type, red Porsche 72’ targa, DTM 190e #18, and AA ONE:1 silver)... two favourite colours- orange and violet Porsches, I became a father of boys twins, and and decided to keep them for everyone)

How are you enjoying your gti? Have you experienced what I am saying about the dsg?

Got the same R8 LMS. It's a nice model. Not as great as the AA version, but I'm satisfied.

Its pretty good for the price
6:54 where do you get that helmet from?
Got it on ebay. It's the 1:6 scale Kevin Estre pink pig helmet by Spark.
Good video, gotta love the RSR. 🙂👍
you need display cases to show case them inside.
all of my spark 1/43 as well as looksmart have been perfect and far less expensive. however i can not say the same about TSM and Fujimi in 1/43.
