Falcon leather - that oud rose safron thing is saffroleine, which is more of a leather note, also used ombre leather, tuscan leather. Its also a sweet material, in a saffron way. Hence why you made those connections. There is a touch of vanilla here too, which gives the sweetness. I get a similarity to interlude man, but softer and without the oppopanax and herbal bits.
It's shite mate, it's very basic perfumery imo. Boring, samey, attempted cash grab
this brand is many words but none of those words are good 🤣

You dont have to use synthetic sandalwoods to push the natural. Jean Claude Ellena is a prime example. You can build an accord of milky notes and woody notes that are stronger to bring out the sandalwood. I dont like synthetic sandalwoods. Screechy. Javanol is ok though. But not for sandalwood notes. It is better to add a smooth freshness.
Some people just wear javanol by itself

I quickly tried all of these on paper in a store and they all seemed overly sweet. Nothing stood out to me. Falcon leather smelled very similar to Perfumes de Marly's Layton Exclusif on paper to me. Radical Rose is ok, I just think it's nothing new and kind of tried to blend MFK's rose oud DNA with POAL. These brands need to set themselves apart from the rest of the brands. It seems like it's all the same stuff now and it's becoming a popularity contest. At least with the brands being sold in big stores.
These do feel very derivative, unfortunately. Seems like his heart's not in it
Rich tell me what you think when you try it. Encens sauve is the best from the house imo. However it’s downside is that it just smells like paco rabanne pure xs. A slightly darker pure xs, so not worth the high price tag

Jean was his dad's name! They are related but I understand why you would think that they weren't
I find Falcon Leather super sweet and loud when compared to the old classic leather Bel Ami from Hermès. I kind of grabbed it just for a modern comparison. Just starting to explore the leather world. Love Bel Ami and don't love Falcon Leather.
Falcon leather is poorly made imo. Feels like it's beating you over the head!
Leather perfume is a rich and varied world and I'm sure you'll have a great time trying as many as you want. Bel Ami is a pretty top notch leather, even modern versions are fantastic

He seems to regard your opinions highly. And I regard his opinions highly:-) What is the thing with the duck? Are you a shy person or why don't you show your face? I am curious about who I am talking to. I don't need to look at someone's face talking about perfumes, I often listen to Ramsey in the car and cannot look at the screen, but I know what he looks like and have a feeling about who he is. Who are you? Age, job, family etc? Maybe you could share something? How long have you been into fragrance? How many bottles do you have?

Vintage Rochas femme has leather,
Iris Nazarena is a bit femme,
Cuir de chine by Les indemodables,
Cuir cannage by Dior,
Cuir mauresque by serge lutens,
Peau d'espagne by Santa Maria novella.
They all have leather and I feel they're quite unisex, some more so than others but they cover some of the spectrum so I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least one you enjoyed!
The thing with the duck is just a picture I saw of one of those giant inflatable ducks they sometimes have as attractions at harbours, I think an artist made one for Hong Kong and they took it on tour and I just thought it was cool and it's been my picture ever since lol. I'm not necessarily shy but it's easier for me to film the way I do, it's also a homage to a couple of reviewers I watched years ago who used to review like this. I've shown my face before and will do so again. I'm 37, same as Ramsey, I have Ankylosing Spondylitis so had to stop working unfortunately and I don't have any family. I have been in to fragrance since I was really young and started collecting them myself at 16. I've got like 400 bottles and many, _many_ backups lol. I've been selling a few this year though. Trying to thin the herd so I can use the things I love more frequently 🙏🏻

Had not heard about it, had to google. Sounds like a drag. Will catch up on more of your content. You really have your own style. Thoughtful and not scripted. Very much here and now.
@@thehonestperfumereviewer6336 I'm not a big fan of osmanthus myself. In my mind it has a texture similar to labdanum, a bit rubbery and like a balloon... If that makes sense 🤔

Man I got a headache too. I couldn’t get rid of these soon enough. No offense to anyone who likes these but they were middling at best.

This brand was a pass for me too. Neither here nor there. The discounters here have picked up alot of their stock so maybe they are hoping people will buy it here (south east asia).
The discounters here in Britain barely offer 10% off these days!
Santal Austral is the one for me that has wayyyyy to much woody amber. It destroys the sandalwood. Sad

I tried a bunch of them a few years ago and quickly thought "move on nothing to see here". I think you've begun with the three worst as their woods and leathers really stink of woody amber. Their florals Neroli and Tuberose were better to me but nothing special. I'd take Serge Fleur d'oranger over them and it's a lot cheaper.
It certainly feels like they couldn't get any worse than these lol.
I'm glad there's only 6 as there's only one or two more videos to go.
These ones genuinely gave me a bit of a headache 😖

The only one I tried from this brand is "Encens Suave". I didn't hate it, I didn't like it. It was mediocre. Not worth the price for sure. I'll wait for your opinion if you're covering it.
