Why did it take me so long to smell this? This is like crack! This is going to be an expensive month with my other purchases. Istanbul huh? I sailed with my family all around the coast and accidentally wandered into Greek waters at which point our boat was shot at. What a trip.,.what a trip.

I bought a 100ml bottle of Nishane ani. Definitely blind buy worthy, unisex, projects beast mode for the first 4 hours & last around 8 to nine hours. The most prominent notes are ginger spice with vanilla which they blend masterfully & It's mouth watering & mass appealing. In my experience people around 3 feet away from me can smell this & I got some compliment as well.peace.

I am Turkish Circassian and love the Armenians like all the other people in Anatolia. I hate the haters. Hope to have true peace with Armenians. Nishane Ani is great example how this two nations can do it better together

Screw politics, countries run on their best interest regardless of the thoughts of the people. What happened between our ancestors are should be not binding to accomplished and complete people like ourselves.Great review as always brother. Sarı Gelin is probably composed in the borders of ottoman empire which had many places intertwined with different cultures. Anı also means memory in turkish btw just a little info

I enjoyed Sebastian’s review on Nishane Ani. I really enjoyed the backstory which tells the true tale of a city torn by war and that this perfume was created with the hope to use scent as a way to heal Armenian and Turkish people. Nishane perfumes from Istanbul, Turkey collaborating with French-Armenian perfumer extraordinaire Cecile Zarokian to make this even more meaningful. I haven’t tried any Nishane fragrances, but I have heard only positive things on this channel. This fragrance sounds really special with bergamot, green notes, and zingy ginger in the top notes, the blackcurrant and aromatic cardamom in the heart, and the dominant Vanilla note throughout the fragrance.

  • @peterpho
    @peterpho 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Excellent review! The “no boundaries “ theme is certainly relevant in today’s world! The notes of vanilla, ginger, black currant and cardamom sound incredible and unique without question. There appears to be something for everyone in this fragrance. I look forward to trying Ani fragrances!

Ok, just tried the 2 big ones courtesy of Luckyscent: Ani and Nefs.
Ani is just wonderful. Frankly between the 2 it's a home run by Ani for me. Nefs feels rich and opulent but it's too much ''purply oud'', that overwhelmingly deep and dark berry oud like theme from Xerjoff's More than Words. Ani's vanillic lemon going into a nice fruity amber drydown is far more 'safer' and palatable I'd say - an upgraded Chanel Allure Blanche. Just just worthy of a bottle for me!

Excellent review, I checked it out, one spray on my scarf lasted 36 hours plus!
What a lovely fragrance, so many facets. It is just like you described.
To my nose it bears a slight, very slight resemblance to Vanillary by Lush.
But this is definitely more complex and interesting.

Hi, Sebastian, I bought Hacivat thanks to you and I’m so happy with it!
About Ani, I’ve read some comments that Ani only projects well for the first hour or so, which seemed odd, considering you mentioned this is potent and loud.
I know skin chemistry makes a lot of difference, but how would you describe the projection of Ani on you?

    Great review, Sebastian!
Could anyone please help me choose between Ani and Hacivat. No samples available on Brazil...
I don’t really have much experience with niche fragrances, the only one I have is Oud Immortel from Byredo, which I love.
I love both citrus and vanilla based fragrances, that’s why I can’t pick one. I’m just looking for a fragrance that smells great (not old school, please), projects a lot and garner lots of compliments.
Although I live on a tropical climate city, which seems to disqualify Ani, I never really cared much about that winter/summer fragrance category. I get along toning down the amount of sprays when the fragrance is too strong.
Could anyone help me pick, please?

Just an FYI ANI is like a cross between HACIVAT, HUNDRED SILENT WAYS and AMBRA CALABRIA with a potent addition of zingy ginger! At least that is my experience with it. I love it! :)

Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews thank you, it’s blind buy worthy then, I love Nishane vanilla and green notes, add ginger and I am so sold!
