13 years later - coming to do this video - is this design implemented anywhere and tested?

We will need these everywhere for 2020

What if the rooms are filed with people, pianos, jacuzzi, fish tanks, elephants-sized pets...etc

They should have put windows in it to see its effects.

    7.5 magnitude earthquake?
The last big earthquake in japan was almost 9.0, wich is ridiculously bigger than a 7.5 (Also, we have to remember that the scale for earthquakes is exponential)
I don't think this simulation doesn't work for a highly seismic country

Sorry, probably, it is a misunderstanding, I think.
In this experiment, the magnitude index is an example and is not important.
It might be a direct type M 7.5 or an oceanic plate type M 9.0.
Important values in individual buildings are seismic intensity, acceleration, frequency.

The video is from 2009. The 9.0M earthquake was in 2011 and it was much stronger than anyone thought was possible off the coast of Japan (the reason why the Fukushima nuclear power plant was so vulnerable). Also, they're probably referring to 7.5 directly beneath the building. The 9+ earthquakes occur in subduction zones 100+ miles off the coast in the Pacific and Indian oceans. The measure that they should have said was the lateral acceleration.

I have a design, I think it can withstand powerful earthquake. Although I am not a structural engineer but I think it would help build tall buildings that would resist vibration.... the trick is in foundation... if anyone working on this let me know so I can share....

It's simple, Just go to stodoys page and choice what you need.
