Drove through the notorious Kostern Durban road, one place I wish not to ever drive again, no one follows the road rules here, people park in the middle of the road and chat as if there is no other traffic on the road, like what you see at the first traffic light intersection in this video, the driving here is bad no one cares here, you will be extremely lucky to drive through this road without an accident, incidents or a scratch on your car…avoid this area during pick hours, it’s not safe here. I also had the privilege to drive through Schauderville a place where I had promised myself never to set foot or drive in my life. Crime is very high here, The rate of crime is round about 67.78% per 1000 residents in 2021. You have a 1 in 15 chance of becoming a victim of crime. I live in korsten. Yes, people may not follow the traffic rules,
It's also dirty, but that's because of the lack of municipal intervention, but it's safe.
It's 100% % safer than locations such as motherwell and new brighten.
Shaurderville, on the other hand, is dangerous.

Very nice video about an area where i grew up but i do not like that area anymore as Durban Road is full of foreign traders who park just about anywhere and the place is filthy. Sad thing is the authorities are doing absolutely NOTHING about it

I WAS JUST LAST YEAR ATTACKED BY 5
COULERED YOUTHS RIGHT AT THE MERCANTILE HOSPITAL, THE ONE YOUNGSTER HAD A 12 INCH KNIFE WRAPPED IN A NEWS PAPER , I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE SEEN THE TIP PROTRUDING..I FLIPPEN BROKE A SPEED LIMIT ..
