It usually denotes a high degree of specialization in the deck's nominal strategy. e.g., the recent "rogues mill" standard deck could be considered a hybrid tempo/mill strategy since it could win by milling or by attacking, whereas this deck can be called "turbo mill" since pretty much all the cards just mill, and milling is the only way this deck plans to win.
It's short for "turbo xerox" which is like a 20-30 year old and still very popular piece of MTG theory. Basically the idea is to play less lands and lots of cheap cantrips. This way you're as likely to hit your land drops but can also find any other card more easily. The strategy is extra good if you can make other use of the cheap spells like in a delver or prowess deck. I have no idea why LVD called this one turbo though, as it doesn't follow the principle.
nice deck!!! let me ask you a question! If you would have to choose just 1 deck for explorer or historic to change your wildcards.. which deck would be??? Thanks!!!

I wonder if it has to do with the hand smoothing algorithm with arena bc the mana value of adventure spells are easy to curve with.
