Ultraman Leo Episode 34: Ultra Brothers, Eternal Vows

- Ultraman Leo Episode 34:
Ultraman Jack was on his way to deliver a ball that would compensate for Dan's inability to transform, but he was attacked by the space monster Ashuran midway. He landed on Earth, but the injury was too much for his human host, Go, all while losing both his consciousness and the ball. Gen and a MAC officer brought him to the Jonan Sports Center for treatment by Momoko.
Not long after, Ashuran arrives and rampages on Earth. As the Jonan Sports Center was evacuated, Go took a nearby motorcycle to go to the same beach he landed on and managed to reclaim the ball from a group of stone-throwing children. Handing the ball to Dan, the disguised Ultraseven fling it and summon Sevenger into fighting the evil space monster. Unfortunately for them, Sevenger retreated after its fighting period ended despite being close to killing Ashuran. The monster nonetheless retreated at the sight of all three Ultras present in their human host/forms.
Dan exhausted his energies to free Go from his muzzle. At night, Ashuran prepares to attack MAC's Tokyo base. Since Ashuran is a space monster whose power is equal to two Ultras, Dan refrain Gen from fighting until Go recover from his injuries. Unfortunately the two were stubborn enough to join anyway while Ultraman Jack uses the lunar eclipse to recharge his energy. With Ashuran defeated, Ultraman Jack left the Earth with Dan's damaged Ultra Eye.

Apparently the reason Sevenger was added to this episode was because kids pointed out that even if Dan cannot fight, he should have been able to do something by summoning capsule kaijus, but instead of giving Miclas, Agira, or Windom an appearance, Tsuburaya created a new monster. So, probably Dan must have left his capsule kaijus back home in M78 when he decided to protect earth again, well I guess he does have a habit of allowing his ultra eye get stolen so many times in the Ultraseven series, I don't expect that he'd remember having capsule kaijus.
And those kids were absolutely right, as I was wondering the exact same thing the whole time. It seems the tradeoff with the Monster ball this time is the 1 minute time limit instead of the Kaiju just being incredibly weak XD
there are 6 capsule kaiju that seven has but he only spawns 3, so does sevenger count as a capsule kaiju?
Wish he use sevenger in Destined Crossroad.

Interesting to note that this is a complete reversal of roles from when Seven showed up in ROU where he arrived to deliver a new weapon for Jack in their Ultra forms, here it's Jack arriving to give Seven a new weapon while both were in their human forms.

(10) Ultraman Jack DID RETURNED in Return of Ultraman (1971), Ultraman Ace (1972). Taro (1973) and Leo (1974), and Mebius, as Gou (every main M78 timeline except 80)!!! Jack lives up to his name as "Return of Ultraman" :)
One of my favorite episodes when I was a kid in Hong Kong:
(1) Ultraman Gou (or Ultraman Aa Hoeng, as Cantonese pronunciation of the character Gou 鄉, is Hoeng) has returned!
(2) Why didn't Gou write when he couldn't talk?

Im confused why the first thing they didnt think of was to give Goh a pen/pencil and paper to write what he wants to say, plot convenience I guess.
Also Im glad they covered the issue of what was going on with Dan not having his monster capsules with him.

Despite looking silly, Sevenger was easily the most competent and effective of all the capsule monsters, nearly winning his fight here; one wonders why Ultraseven didn't use him more, instead of losers like Miclas or Agira.

Leo is very rich for guest appearance: Dan, Gou, Hayata, Fuji, Anne (3 Ultra host actors and 2 heroines) although only Dan and Gou (and debatably Anne) play the same roles, but Dan was in 1-40.
Taro has a lot of guest appearance too: Hayata, Dan, Gou, Hokuto, Minami, ALL previous Ultra Hosts!
Although only Minami and Gou played some specific roles, the other three just appeared as "one of the Ultra Brothers)

The only error I saw in this episode is Jack being called the 5th ultra brother but I know that isn’t true (probably a translation error). He’s actually the 4th while the 5th was Ace
It sounds like it says "go-ban", so 5th. Probably Seven's Superior could feel happy for a second thinking he was recognised 😂
