Why else would Golza be called fire Golza in the first place? It is because Golza used the volcano's magma to rejuveinate itself to get stronger. That's how this Golza aka, Fire Golza came to be. How Golza II came to be is the similar way how Golza powered himself up. It used the volcano's lava and its surrounding to not just rejuveinate himself, but to also resurrect himself from his defeat.

I seem to recall that in Ultra Galaxy, Gomora was able to defeat normal Golza, but he came up just a little bit short against Fire Golza. But what if it had been EX Gomora against Fire Golza? Does anybody think that they would have been a little more evenly matched at that point?
