This airgun is AMAZING. I own it and it packs a wallop. WAY stronger than ANY of my .177 rifles !! BLOWS HOLES through small phone books !!!

Just spent £76 on mine ,great value for the money .Target catcher ,targets and pellets included .The only moan is the pellets are not great quality use better one's for better accracy ,I have a red dot sight to go on it so more plinking in the garden. cheers Rob.

You're wrong in 12:40 .. trigger sensitivity can be adjusted through that access point. If overtighten tho, the safety switch stops working so caution!

How did this gun turned out to be after all these years? I want to buy one but none of the new ones come with the globe front sight, they have the fiber optic without the protective plastic globe.
I've got one I thing it's great it punches out to 70 yards away (just a tree not a target.) Very powerful They oversell the larger one called supercharger. I mean it can't legally be any more powerful than 6ft lbs
So...what do you think about the longevity of this gun? Will it last? Has it lasted for you?
Very rugged construction, Paul, I've had mine for (8) years now, no problems. It's a springer in .22 cal and muzzle velocity is ~ 515 fps.

@@nomadbarka7407 is a little rough. And big...yes is powerfull..i bought a spring model...i recomended a gas piston model...more accuracy and gentle. But for te price its ok...

Good gun, would not recommend a scope as the man says. Spent a lot of money on scopes for this gun all lenses fell out. Due to recoil.

I would like to mount my laser light on under the barrel if front BUT I can not see or find a fitting that fits the bill, the barrel is 1.75" in dia.

Does the recoil dampening system allow for conventional optics?
Yeah, any decent optic will be fine....
A starter? With THAT cocking effort? Start them with something a little less expensive, like a Beeman P17. Accurate, inexpensive, fun, much easier to cock and aim.
I got the Vortex version of this gun, needless to say I didn't get any of those cool extras. It seems to have a problem with accuracy, but it could be 100% me, as it feels a bit heavy to aim.
Better than the Tanfoglio Witness 1911 though, my other air pistol.

Btw, the Vortex version goes for $160, making it a good deal pricier, it's also the reason for a cocking effort difference. There's also a better trigger and adjustable front sight.

Id never buy any Hatsan on this platform. Ive got two i can no longer cock. I believe it's because of the trigger system. Also knew to have horrible seals.
What is the power of this gun in fps? Is it suitable for hunting small game ie.. Squirrels etc..

The .22 caliber version is shooting at 460 FPS. with 11.9 grains. Thats 5.3 FPE. Rabbits can easily be taken with a head shot within 20 yards, and a quality pellet. Ideally you'd have closer to 10 FPE for small game within 50 yards.
You should try using your left hand to pull the trigger, given you're left handed. Might improve your groups :)

Seen them shooting 10m and putting the bull out it's getting the right pellet clean before you try it out as it's full of shipping grease I had the BSA scorpion in 177, and shooting farm pigeons on the sheds farmer was happy, the BSA scorpion was a beast and it was head shots and heart and lung shots, I loved it give it to a lad to learn and never seen it again but there going for big money but it's all about owning a BSA scorpion, but it like the hatsan supercharger it has a threaded barrel for a screw on moderator which helps cock the pistol and great vider.
Try Rws Hobby pellets they hit hard for in door or out door

30 yard headshot on a crow in the top of a 40 foot spruce. Dead before he hit the ground. 3/8th inch groups at 10 yards. With the right ammo could probably drop a rabbit with a head shot.
So what's the right ammo??

Barrel says .177cal... Spring action compresses a sprong. IGT/Vortex tech compresses the inert air/gas in an internal chamber.

Rong ..theres two model 25 supercharger pistle. One is .22 cal spring powered . the other mod 25 super charger is .17 cal spring with vortex gas powered system . um both called super charger and both modele 25 so ah ya hat san made it confusing something in there hooka pipe that day they decided the name and model number

A Beeman P17 for the same money blows this away on every count.
The p17 is a $35 abs plastic chinese walmart toy. It's basically a gamo AF-10 with more attention to looks and less attention to build quality. Try putting a 100 bar vortex ram in a beeman and the damn thing would explode on you.
Now the hatsan 25 isn't the best gun in the world but its significantly better built and alot less gimmicky.

@@danielmorris9803 No problem, ive been looking into it aswell as im buying the same gun but .22, breakbarrel is better than co2, as ive gone through 7 12g bottles in 3 hours and its so expensive. Whereas break barrel its spring! Enjoy.
