I said on a previous video that it your building my dream defender apart from the roof rack but you have just changed my mind 💯 I am in love with this Landy and kudos to you sir your work is on point
You need some extra side lights at the top rear of the roof as the spare tyre blocks out the standard lights (and possibly reflector) when the door is open.

Loving your work, BUT please consider using a wireless Lav Mic, they don't cost a fortune and your audio clarity and consistency will be significantly improved no matter how close, facing towards or away from the camera and they won't get in your way while working. Check out Rode, Sokani or Comica..loads of others in reviews on YT...love the channel though!
I bloody well knew it as soon as I saw the back wheel carrier....MATE Come on, you only have 1 BACK. You have a few lads there to help out now, so please please stop trying to wreak yourself! (I do recall speaking to you about this before, naughty!) Ok, now that that's off me back (oh gorrrd!). Looking good so far, I do Defender Restorations myself over here in Aus (very small scale - not as many here), so its why sometimes I may seem a tad tough on you but I believe you can rise to the occasion. So with that in mind I can understand why you use Britparts (cost) but sometimes the more expensive options are a must, however as you said before, sometimes the Britpart bits are ok, just knowing which is the trick. So as a suggestion, maybe on each video in the comments you could post in a parts list of part name and make so people can see who made what that works. Tip of the day: Under that light bar off the roof rack try and get a bit of Aluminium sheet that can be installed as a Sun visor/Light shield so that when the light bar is on, there is no glare reflection off that highly spit polished hood! Paint/powder coat it black so it blends in. I use a bit of 3mm thick sheet, holds its self up well with out wobbling all over the place. Just attach it to the bolts used by the bar to the roof rack, the owner will think your bloody fantastic!
You’ve really transformed that Defender - looks great. Do you think the wheel carrier could be adapted to fit a Series 3? I guess a bit of adaptation required where it’d fit onto the rear cross-member. Really enjoying the channel -
Juice Motors I think if I was in England I’d be around getting stuff done. My headlights are rubbish and I’m a bit lost as to what to buy. Some have fans some have halos. All I know is the H4 doesn’t quite cut it. Really enjoy the videos. Do you see much corrosion on the defender roof where the seams meet? I’ve got a few bubbles, very annoying. It would be good to have a video showing how to fix this. Cheers @defender_don
question! If I wanted to place a new more emission friendly engine in an old Defender (i.e Euro6 Diesel, not EV because still too pricey) which would you place? I dont know how much the upgrade will cost too (I do not care too much about raw power but more than this vehicle can actually be driven in cities)
Something that's euro 6 will need adblue and dpf filters, would probably be cheaper to do an ev conversion if you could find a written if vehicle or something otherwise your cheapest option would be buying a cheap ulez car and driving that in the city if its for a commute
