It bugs the hell out of me how people have a problem with someone saying "god damn" but are more than happy with someone saying "god told me to run for office." Which one is really using the lord's name in vain?

I’m from South Carolina and there are people FAR more religious than her. She’s like mildly religious here.

If I had to guess, this is a girl who’s going to use god when she needs to and forget him when it inconveniences her. Admonishing a fully grown adult for saying the “wrong” words in a fit of anger, self-righteous holy finger wagging at the ready, “getting plowed 20 minutes before mass” as he so brazenly put it, there’s no second thought to her disappointing god.
Don’t trust anyone who selectively applies their religion when it suits them. People will use god as an excuse to condemn and disrespect and not tolerate other people they personally don’t agree with. Group gatherings of any kind like this are antiquated and along the lines of something Bill would make fun of in “I’m Sorry You Feel That Way”.

I love these super devout, judgmental Christians who turn around and act like hypocrites constantly. She criticizes him for saying “oh my god” but then she’s having premarital sex with him? Just looking for a little consistency here.
I don't think they are devout if they're going against God's word. They just think they are. A lot of people call themselves Christians but have a long ways before they truly are.

Grew up in the church, not religious anymore but do keep some of the morals like Bill was talking about. Dated an atheist, couldn't do it, dated a christian, couldn't do it. New girl is spiritual, has morals but has some edge to her, so far so good, anyone who's had experience with anyone who's spiritual, let me know how that went
