- When you run a worldwide drug empire you're bound to make some enemies, so protection is a top priority! Check out how Pablo Escobar took that to the extreme when he created his own private army that served to protect the Columbian drug kingpin.

Escobar is proof that the only way to get a group of people to be loyal to you is to take care if their needs like he did in his hometown. He was a monster and was able to get an entire city on his side
"entire city" more like poor people of a specific area, the rest of the city wanted him death.
@@viceralman8450 you mean the poor and dejected people he showed kindness too that others wouldn't even spit on? Js loyalty shouldn't be that easily swayed
@@Hero_Of_Canton Kindness are you 11?
He did it for interest to turn the sons of this people into assassins for hire and their daughters of mules and prostitutes.
Americans are gullible as one can be.
🤣🤣
@@Hero_Of_Canton yup and today’s drug dealers are selling worst stuff and never contribute a dime
Because they are low class @@naser1109
The documentary "Killing Palo" was a really good insight into his criminal empire. I suggest you watch it.
He changed Colombian law to bend to his will. Built his own prison & could leave all his will. He sold more drugs while in his own "prison" than beforehand.
Wild stuff.
If you can understand Spanish, the best would be "Patron del Mal" on Netflix...truly unbeatable
I'm from Medellín and I live in Medellin. I really enjoyed the video, typically dont watch Pablo videos because I've seen it all before and I want to say that people in Medellin didn't like him. Yes there still is a neighborhood in Medellin named after him and he helped the poor but people during that time lived in constant fear because Medellin at one point was the most dangerous city in the world. So most people didn't really like him.
the ends usually never justify the means, all
the damages to businesses and residential areas from cartels, imagine
do u have a brother named hosea tores tores
Thank you for the tutorial!!! 10/10, detailed, and simple explanation. Will most likely share this useful info to my family. 😆😆😆👍👍👍
Pablo Escobar was one of the few we could call a real life supervillain. The man was basically a real life Wilson Fisk.
Wilson Fisk wishes he was even anything like Pablo Escobar
antihero
In the future, there’s gonna be an uncharted game to find Pablo’s hidden treasure.
It would be great a video of how criminal organizations worked today in Mexico and how much they learned from cartels like Medellin or Cali.
You cant do that
@@painthuret why not
@@asherjohnson6678 because nowadays cartels are way smarter than the ones depicted in the Netflix shows, exposing their ways would put a target on whoever does it
@@painthuret Seconded.I researched Colombia (and I just moved here, haha)... My understanding is that the drug cartels have made major moves towards being: Less Visible, More High Tech, More Integrated With - and Protected By - Locals.
@@painthuret Meh
To everyone who's seeing this video i hope you all gonna make it in this life ❤️❤️
:)
I was born in Medellin Colombia and even though,I’m thankful for have served in the U.S Marines 🙌
If Pablo Escobar wasn't so evil and insane he could've lived even today
narcos on netflix also does a great job at explaining escobar's life
If y’all liked this, Narcos on Netflix is amazing.
This video is just a recapped animated version of it 👌
You missed to talk about gustavo gaviria, he too was important in escobar's rise, with actual connections gustavo was the one who maintained and always made profits
And Pablo Escobars brother Gustavo and Pablo Escobar where the cartels main accountants
This is like a summary of Narcos but I welcome it
When you have all the money to buy your power, there's not a lot you can't do...
If he wasn't so worried about trying to be apart of his government and having that spot light on him he probably would still be here today
How loyal will you go ig
Why Is It That Most Of The Time When People Do Videos On Pablo,They Forget To Mention That He Was Griselda's Protege? Put Some Respect On Her Name. Escobar Wouldn't Have Became The Kingpin We Know Him As Without Her.
Meh.
Also, Why Do You Write Like This When It Is So Annyoing?
Some say he worked for her some say she worked for him. Thats one story ill never understand.
@@negroleague2 This Is News To Me, Who Said She Worked For Him??? Is There A Link? I'm Genuinely Curious.
He became bigger than her by a long shot
My parents lived during the worst betwen 92 - 93 in Bogotá. My mom told me that you could hear bombs exploding daily and adding the bounty he put on ALL police officers (something like 300 USD for a regular cop and doubling the reward the higher the rank) the shootouts were constant, so fear was the daily thing until he was shot dead.
Wow thanks for sharing this.
Am I the only one that caught the “more money more problems” refrence
only the money was obtained in a wrong way
To this day is absurd the amount of power he gained considering where he started also is mindblowing how he took a war at the goverment and actually lasted that long
That’s what happens when cops will take a bribe to look the other way
I have to say, the cartoon of Escobar is hysterical! He looks so friendly as a cartoon character. It reminds me of the old saturday morning cartoon lineup, just with narcos
Lol drawing of Escobar is priceless lol
This animation maakes me wonder why American dad hasnt done a narcos escobar thing lol. It seems like something stan would do
To really get a good idea of how rackets work, look no further than the insurance industry.
Your videos are amazing keep it up! ❤️
yessssss
Cool video as always
I watched a documentary that said that when Escobar's mafia fought the police, they would bring military grade weapons and armoured vehicles to the fight
I want to hire a private army one day in an fictional universe not in reality.
You left out that Pablo used to steal tombstones & erase the name from it & then resell it lol.
Good vid
Time to pick up the family business 😂
Narcos was amazing though even if some of it was reading between lines and making guesses
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
Nice video
Good video brother
I still think Barbie’s Fiancés of Death would have wiped out Pablo and the Ochoa brothers.
It was Bolivia that owned the coca leaves and Barbie would have wiped out the Colombians if he decided to do so.
I played this video while getting a ride to work, by the end my Uber driver became *poison*
Not poison
It was LIMON 😂
@@sameershahbaz9652 hahaha yes you are right lol

Ok
I like the new animations
Ferb, I know what we're going to do today
The infographic Show *always* makes interesting videos!
a feature on mexican cartel should be featured next, where cartels and terrorist are one and the same.
hey i do not know if you do these but i have a request i want you guys to do a video about how to create you own army or own Law enforcement in the us and get govr,t funding without going to prison
Well for starters you will probably need some political pull or a sizable initial investment to get a law firm or two under you for seconds you'll need to make a government body an offer to start up a task force for some purpose and keep pushing it through higher and higher government body's untill you get lucky I suppose
Basically you want to start a private security firm like Blackwater. Can't remember what they are called now. Other guy is right. It takes alot of $ and political pull. You want to be able to bid on government security contracts. If your intent is to build an army here in America start a club. Use it to recruit members. It can be a sci Fi club. Doesn't really matter but the more boaring it sounds the better, less attention. Old lunchbox club. Use it to direct members to a particular on line game. Something millions play. Use game chat for sensitive topics. Most filters used on Facebook and TH-cam look for key words like bomb, gas , nuke, drug ....avoid them. Come up with your oun words for each used. Good luck.
Sometimes Hollywood imitates life. Check out the movie " Clear and present danger" .
Luv u
in 2 words: courage, money
Paranoia, psychopathy
Courage 🤣🤣🤣🤣 clueless Americans glorifying criminal go brrrr.
Is this a new art style?
Ok his ear😂😂😂😂
Do a video on how the money gets back to the criminals
Boom money laundering video out now!
Please do a vid of el chapo next☺
This dude has watched all 5 seasons of Narcos lol
Can you do a average Joe versus ezio from assassin's creed video please
And the legend is the day the Colombians were going to demolish the building where Pablo Escobar got killed, someone on another building across, filmed Pablo Escobar's unrested soul walking back and forth, back and forth which could of been an imprint of his last moments alive. Pretty creepy stuff to say the least. You guys should checkout the video here on youtube and decide for yourselves if you think it's his spirit or something else.
Can you send a link or the title of the video
@@ExecVic0759 Is fake.
@@viceralman8450 how lol I just asked to see the link for the video
3:30 cool rifles xD
Did things escalate? Or did they… escobar? 😎
Half-way through and still nothing on "How" his army was built. Poorly titled.
Nice!
He prolly asked nicely
So good is a banger
Real life rocky of KGF

A large division of cry babies
Great video
I remember seeing some stat somewhere that said he was spending $15,000 a month just on rubber bands for his money
Was just watching narcos yaaa
Things he did are completely insane and brutal but if life worked differently for this kind of people they would have succeeded great achievements to the humanity
Sounds like Michael Jackson's house or the movie BIG
Gun and force thats how lol
nice
The "Jackal" died with his boots off...socks too.
Cool
I'm surprised he didn't try to conquer south America or this planet
They're called (competition kickball courts).
Next video: idea will Elon musk keep twitter?
Poppy playtime? Could you do like survive, or just talk about it?
I wished the mexican government team up with the Americans......the problem is they don't want the Americans interfere with their cartels...see what happens in Colombia Pablo's cartel were way bigger then the sinaloa...
The Boosh administration? What's that? I don't remember a President BOOSH.
Shitpost time : p a b l o
Pablo was hero
For a second I thought *wtf*, but then I saw your pfp and it all made sense
Hi there
Dude really built his own prison and got jail time in it 🤯
what they should do is round everyone up and question them and if indeed incent let them go
that way the cartels r taken down
See Revelation 14:12 & 18:23,Quit PCR test
