Atreus and Angrboða go to dangerous lengths to save a wolf from having its soul harvested by her surly grandmother, Grýla. After saving the wolf, Atreus is caught by Grýla, but Angrboða rescues him from her crushing grip. The two are now forced to confront the disgruntled giantess and destroy her magic cauldron.

What I love about this theme are the bells that remind us of Christmas songs, and that gryla was a character used to scare children at Christmas (in some countries)

@@theoneandonly2441 I get more of a God Rest Ye Gentlemen (I think that's what that song is called) vibe off the main melody, actually, which, as Grýla is based on an Icelandic ogre who kidnapped and ate children during Yuletide (basically, Christmas before Christmas, celebrated by Ancient Scandinavians/Northern European Pagans, and that's also why pinetrees are associated with Christmas).
I really love this version of the theme, thank you. Somehow, Grýla's theme is one of my favourites.

I don’t know whether to like this one more or the official
I mean they’re both “official”
But I feel like the released version feels more cinematic, coming together and wrapping up like a nice bow. But this one leans more on the epic feel that the released version has.
Either way, both are a solid 10/10
