Watching this video, I could realize that Tata Motors was way ahead of its time and the market wasn't mature enough to handle such exotic products such as Tata Sierra, Estate, Mobile and Marina. It's sad to find Tata Motors having failed with such path breaking iconic product line.

Tata Mobile and Safari were very popular in Goa, now it's Tiago and Nexon. Tata Mobile 407s are still seen on the roads, they're pretty fast compared to Bolero pickups and have fewer accidents

I bought tata indica v2 in 2003 sold after 162000 kms in 2011 just because family wanted change. In 2011 bought send had indigo xl which was 2009 model and used for 61000. Sold with speedometer at 172000 no problem but just like that. Bought tata zest xta diesel in 2018 which was 2015 model and driven 48000kms. Crossed 107000 in April 2021. So many months lost to lock down. No maintenance expense other than battery tyres , timing belt etc. XL did have issues. Son bought indica v2 in 2004 and sold in 2014 using for 174000kms. No problems. He bought Ford fiesta n then verna and now creta. All 4 cars are with us.
I love TATA n will buy tata only. But yes service centres need to be transperant and ethical.

Tata motors is good company, experiments and doesn't always go with the stream. The major drawback is after sale service which repels consumers. It needs to revamp its service network and atleast project as premium.
Tata should relaunch indigomarina my lovely car. It's good looks, best mileage, bigger boot space, gives a unique feature if 'Tata Motors' design it for 7 seaters.
Then it will be a affordable family car in today's Indian Car Market.
It can also compet with Renault Triber and Maruti Ertiga.
You forgot to include Tata sumo Grande

Bhai Tata Safari flop gaadi nahi he.. it's fully built Suv.. Tata did not update its features in time.. so it did not give customers visual satisfaction.. at least it could have touch screen infotainment system in varicor 400 but no update was done yet in 2019.. I got my first touchscreen mobile in 2013.. at Tata Safari should have updated touchscreen system at 2015.. so customers did not expect this from Tata motors.. although build quality is extremely good.. fantastic.. superb.. Tata Safari has many followers with in India like myself as well as outside India.. once upon a time Tata Safari was exported to Russian countries.. we expect Tata Safari should come back with fully loaded features.. Jai Hind..

Funny... We ran 25 years on Tata Cars. Jan 1994 to November 2005 we had Tata Estate, November 2005 to June 2019 we had Indigo Marina... sadly since we don't get the same boot size in Hexa or Harrier, we had to shift to Ertiga

TATA ESTATE WAS VERY GOOD CAR I WAS USING IT HAVING LOT OF FEATURES AT THAT TIME LIKE HAVE CRUISE AND ETC ALSO WITH ONE FINGURE STEARING CAN BE ROTATE STILL I MISS THAT CAR IT WAS WONDERFULL TO DRIVE.
I use 2015 Xenon .....its a fantastic car ....but I think market maturity is important to recognize it
