Hi! it's me again. there is a turtle farm at Grand Cayman. I was there about 25 years ago I loved it. Marine life just fascinates me. I had a Catalina 27 until Hurricane Katrina got it. Anyway I would go out and call up some dolphins, throw them some fish and we would talk for ever it seemed like. Of course I don't know what they were saying but they seemed to enjoy it. Years before that I had a saltwater shop and sold saltwater fish and aquariums. Those fish are smart and will get to recognize you. Keep up the progress and don"t forget to have fin! ME
Love, love, love the turtle hospital! We went to a few of their releases on Sombrero Beach last spring, it’s a beautiful thing to see the turtles head back out to sea! 💛
So cool to see you at the Turtle Hospital and knowing that our “adopted turtle” Bender is still hanging in there. We visited a few years ago and I agree that Marathon is a great place to visit. If you get over the the gulf coast on your loop return try a visit to Cedar Key. Great place, very unspoiled and Tony’s had wonderful clam chowder. Take care, be safe.
Have you done a follow-up piece on what you think of living with your E-outboard? How prevalent are they out among the cruising fleet? Actually, a discussion on your whole dinghy would be worthwhile as the tube covers and bimini are also at least somewhat unique. One of those topic suggestions you can tuck away 'til later...
Haven’t done that yet and we just saw our first other e-outboard from another looper the other day… we’ve seen quite a few just out and about though! We will have to do a 6 months later or something review! Cheers
Loved the turtle hospital and would love to go there! Do the libraries there let y’all rent a room without being local to that city? We always assumed we couldn’t so haven’t tried it! Those French fries looked solid!
Haha no we don't have one... we did get to experience that though in Marathon! When it happened the first night we were so confused but its pretty neat!
wondered about you all and the weather. Seems Florida is seeing a lot of rain. What do you do if pets are not allowed in places? Good luck on heading out and seeing the rest of the Keys.
We’ll we take it day by day, if pets aren’t allowed we won’t stay long, pretty much every anchorage we search for is dog friendly! Have practically always been able to find one!
Just love that you are now adding a map to your intro of where you have already been!!
Thank you for sharing about the Turtle Hospital. Donated ❤ 🐢 thanks to your video
Wow, thank you for supporting them! It’s a great cause 🙏
We took our daughter Coral there when she was 10 months old. You know you’re in Marathon when you see the sea turtle hospital sign.
Oh so cool! Thanks for watching Michael!
The turtle hospital is kind of sad but a great place. Love it down there
It’s sad for sure but very inspiring that these individuals care and work so hard to save the turtles!
Great video, what a lovely way to enjoy a sunset.
Thanks Steve! We'll have to do it again, it was pretty peaceful 🤙
This is a place all need to visit
Absolutely!!!

Oh thats sounds amazing! What a cool connection to the sea life! When Dolphins grace Pivot with their presence, it really makes our day!
What a cool way to enjoy the sunset after a full day of adventuring!

Thank you for watching Lester!
Cool. Wife and I went there about 7 years ago. Got to watch a surgery through the glass in operating room.

Do you guys have a conch horn yet? When we were in Marathon everyone blew them at sunset like in the Bahamas.

I can see Olie is working hard, not a squirrel to be seen anywhere near your boat.
LOL! She doesn't have many jobs but the ones she does, she does 'em well
