Granny squares look brilliant too, I am doing a bed scarf one with granny squares some plain some 3d flower ones in purple and white - ongoing project - along with sweater knitting. Lovely video Stephanie. I had lost my cro jo for the longest time but you’ve inspired me with all your lovely projects. The Christmas blanket is a beauty. I went to Amazon to look at the Crochet Home book only for it to tell me I bought the book in March of this year. I’ve bought both of those patterns and about 8 of Marions other ones. she has a degree in textile design and her colours are amazing..but sometimes you just need to use your stash... 😂 I’m doing the Noel nine patch now.. I also like Made by Anita..and did her Coronation blanket..xx
@@CraftyDragonflyCrochet No… I bought the patterns..I haven’t made them .🥴I buy them with good intentions and then I see loads of other nice ones..I’m like a kid in a sweet shop.. 😂 I only started crocheting end of last August so not quite a year yet… and made 4 blankets the Noel nine patch is my fifth ..I’ve made bunting and loads of coasters ..but not much for a years worth … in comparison to others. 🤷♀️😂🥰
Hi Suzanne, I am new subscriber and am working my way thru yr videos (backwards lol). Do you block your granny squares and if so have you done a video on how to do it? I love your colour combinations, very inspiring. I am really a cross stitcher but taught myself to crochet in the summer as it is good to do when I am travelling in the car. Hi Kathy, lovely to hear from you. I haven't blocked the ones I'm doing at the moment, as they seem to be lying quite flat anyway. What I'll probably do once I've finished it, is put it in the washer and then lay it out flat to dry it, which usually helps to straighten it all. Some people do block all the time though, it's really a personal preference. I used to cross stitch but crochet has taken over my life a little bit. Happy crocheting and stitching 🥰
