In my experience if you tell them you received the “wrong” product instead of directly claiming its fake, the replacement is almost instant on the customer care call. Experienced this 2-3 times already.

I've had similar experience once with Amazon but their service is amazing they're really understanding and issue return or replacement immediately. Plus it's important to have a good track record too, to support our claim.

another time, a bluetooth was send empty box. outside brand packaging there. but inside empty.. i had record unboxing video.. i send email that it was empty and i can show video.. but they dont ask for video also... imedeiate refund.. no questions asked.. no calling nothing... if it was flipkart.... even if we send mail... they dont reply theough email... they will start calling... again we have to explain everything...
Last year around October or November I bought oculus quest 2 from flipkart I was so happy to receive but that happiness didnt last than few moments as soon as I find out that were no seal on the product a fake plastic wrapped around the product after that I opened the box I saw there were some weird powder on all over the controllers and headset. And also I couldn't find that certain type of smell whenever you buy and open a new phone pc parts. There was no smell that a new product should have after that I noticed that the headset headband had yellowish tint .. thankfully I had recorded everything and then I raised an complaint and they asked me to send video which I did and than next thing you know that I was denied and the woman on customer care told if it works then it fine you will have to live with it. They won't take it back or replace it.
I had also received “wrong” product on 4th September 2022 through Amazon.
I ordered Bose Quietcomfort Earbud that cost me 26990 INR, but at the place of the earbud I had received a used watch packed inside a carton box with no Poly wrap on it . Literally got mentally humiliated after that until now.
Send no. of mails with proofs attached but still no resolution. Customer service team has now stop responding to my mails . Even lodged grievance on consumer helpline and then Amazon simply moved out of this matter by putting all the blame on the seller i.e., Appario due to which my complaint stand closed.
It’s 28th of December 2022 , still struggling to get the refund of my amount .
Don’t want this type of incident to be happened with anybody else

The similar thing happened with me but in my case first they promised for replacement then ask for return.... Even after returning the product they took about one month to settle the refund in the name of internal check.. Really I had never expect such an worst service from @Amazon
Was stuck in a similar situation, ordered PS5 disc edition but got digital edition from Flipkart. Even after providing all the relevant proofs, my return was rejected on the basis of seller's word of mouth. But, after calling them regularly for 15 days, I got my refund.
Always record while unboxing. Period.
I have usually seen that any online courier i order has some manipulation mark as if someone tried to check what's inside. Its common with Amazon, i had order ceiling fan and the box had some marks. Same also happened for Myntra and MammaEarth.

999 ka scam hua hai. I bought a Redmi Eardbud 2C. It was delivered and when I used it, I wasn't satisfied with the product so wanted to return and the delivery man wasn't coming to pick the product. I tried to contact the customer care for 4-5 times and then they sent a guy and he just took the product and went, didn't even check. Later, I got to know that he didn't completed the return procedure from his device and he took the product. Contacted them several times, maybe for 3-4 months and they kept saying that they will initiate my refund within few days but I didn't get back my money

To ab mai ek saal sai apna PC us Power unit ko patak-patak kr chala raha hu jb bhi system ON Krna hota hai

● Sometimes After Dispatching beech ke channels me aise ho jata hai, pr Amazon pr yh kaam kafi km hota hai.

Same thing happened to me.... Ordered a printer valued Rs. 23000/- but recieved a surveillance moniter of Rs. 3500/-.... Vaiya fully got confused at that time but have to follow same process like you then got my money back after 6 days instead of replacement....

Ha Flipkart ya Amazon ke customer care waale sabhi se sahi baat karte hai aur agar hamari baat genuine hai to bahut jaldi kaam ho jata hai.service kaafi sahi hai.
Amazon is very trustworthy, it has earned my trust over the years and it has never let me down. One time i ordered item which was non returnable, the customer care expert ordered the same item for me and told me to keep the existing item too which costed around 2000 rs. i now have 2 of those items.

I have purchased the mobile from Amazon. the status of order was delivered but I didn't received the product, so I called the customer care they said we will investigate and inform you. After investigation of multiple weeks they said everything was fine from our side and the order is delivered. I was so worried by this response. Then one of my friend called the customer care and asked to whom you delivered the product , they said to the security, we talked with security they said nothing is received from Amazon. then we called the customer care and said how can you deliver the product to unknown person without my permission. we also talked with them in strong language. After continuously calling for days and days finally I received the refund. and then again I have ordered the product but this time with cash on delivery and also from that event I always unbox on camera and infront of delivery boy.

I am amazon seller. But in medical category. Let me explain whats going on in details.
Say i have a good review page , other fake sellers will web their listing into mine and will start selling under my category , my same page . now when Customer will order product these fake sellers will sell fake items . and because of this our reviews which we got by hard work completely gets ruined. Amazon should do some kind of notification pop up and warn buyers when they buying the item and let them know that they are mot buying from original sellers jiska ye listing ha !! .
Now another issue , somehow the delivery person or someone behind the scenes knows exactly what is present in the box , they somehow manage to replace the item with fake item!! Now seller here faces a complete loss , 70% of times amazon rejects the seller claim and seller ends up being in a complete loss and even if amazon accepts claim seller does not gets full amount back. Everyone please remember not all sellers are back . genuine sellers are suffering a lot of losses because of bad sellers and amazon employees them self also .

गौरव भाई मैं करीब 2013 से ऑनलाइन शॉपिंग कर रहा हूं। हर महीने करीब 10 से 15 पार्सल आते हैं। फ्लिपकार्ट और अमेजन पर आजतक कभी कोई बड़ा स्कैम नहीं हुआ, हमेशा सही चीजें मिली हैं। लेकिन एक बार अमेजन पर एक जैकेट 190 रुपये में मिल रही थी तो मुझे शक हुआ था कि इसमें कोई स्कैम होगा, लेकिन अमेजन की इमेज को देखते हुए मैंने ऑर्डर कर दिया था, बाद में उसमें जैकेट की जगह एक पुरानी साड़ी मिली। हालांकि अमेजन पर कॉल करने पर तुरंत रिफंड हो गया था।
