Please study " Queen Pipping and Tooting". Also , find some papers related to how workers select their queen between several queen and their behavior of their selection. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks !!!

How many days from the exit of the new queen to lay eggs? What are you doing to prevent the mirage?? Gratefully

Queen should be laying eggs about 20 days after emerging from her cell.

The Queen Bee is an Apiarists’s (Beekeeper’s) Bread and butter. I can guarantee, that no keeper is happy about the demise of their mighty Queen. The Keeper will requeen the colony themselves or sometimes the bees do it. Regardless the bees will kill the old Queen to make way for the new queen.
If the hive “Requeens” to guarantee a strong viable queen the hive will produce more than one. Typically there can only be one queen👸 So When more than one queen (decided by a fertilized egg and its diet of Royal Jelly) hatches THERE is a fight to the death and the winner will become “THE QUEEN”
This is the natural cycle of a Queen Bee’s Life.
About the woman who posted the video. In my opinion She didn’t sound enthusiastic about the queen dying, but enthusiastic, and excited about the entire process.
I.E someone who loves their job.
The U.S has thousands of different species of bees. We also have other pollinators.
Hummingbirds, Butterflies, Moths, and Beetles. Even some small mammals pollinate. Just to name a few.
Are the other pollinators as important as Bees? OF COURSE NOT!.
We would see a drastic decline in our crops, flowers, and tree fruits. Which then would cause all prices to surge even higher than they already are now.
When and if you were to interfere with the process of let’s just say, “saving this queen” the colony would not survive without a strong viable queen laying her eggs.
As sad as it may be. You are never suppose to interfere with the natural order of Nature.
Sorry so long… I Love Bees they are remarkable creatures. Lol
