My goal for 2024 is to go to a retreat here. I’ve wanted to use ayahuasca in ceremony since I took it in the early 90’s in NOLA, although I did not have a visionary experience at that time. I’ve had an ayahuasca dream that has kept the intention alive for all these years. Looking inward and praying for the door to open🐘
I'm 73. I've had the great good fortune to meet the Dalai Lama several times, have had two Gurus in my lifetime (Muktananda, the Gurumayi), spent several months in their ashram in Ganeshpuri, India and so forth. This was in my 40s and 50s. All this work has enabled me to have a pool of inner contentment and bubbling joy. I am ready to notch it up now with the substance given in these ceremonies. But, I'm worried that all the people shown in your look like they are between 20 and 40 except for 1 man who looks like he is mid-50s. I'm probably being silly, but will I be accepted at age 73. I should most of my friends are in their 40s.
i did it Twice nd i didnt understand ..first time i did it with other 5 people ..new friends for 6 months nd 3 stranger.. really had a bad trip..i dont trust those new friends anymore. .it happend in 2017 2nd time in 2018 had it with fewer people.. i dont really remember.. except 1-2 people.. they said ur life will be changed , u will see vision, but it changed my relationship with God.. when i had those 2 trips i was not in good shape mentally and i was depressed.. wrong financial decision nd every day was like hell ..lost my love in jan 2019.. things started improving after August 2019 i had drops in 2017 nd 2018 . now things are pretty good out of financial problem almost but i really miss my Girl friend.. materially all good ..but still i dont understand what was that..i look back it is still very negative trip.. they also said there is stages ..is it complete or there is more to come i am not jn contact with those people as my job is transferable ..nd they were new friends in new place that time.. i am getting restless again . what should i do..?
It looks like some of those so-called things you see as negative, looks like it cleared out some of those things that were not serving you well. Sometimes things have to get worse before it gets better. This Medicine is not a magic bullet. There is plenty of work to do on our parts afterwards. And if you are not with that woman (X-girlfriend), perhaps she was not really meant for you. Life is just one stage after another. It looks like some of those so-called things you see as negative, looks like it cleared out some of those things that were not serving you well.
