    I found this out by accident with my machno had some extra gear in the back of the boat so it shifted the balance a bit more to the rear found the boat handled better like that

      Every boat usually has a sweet spot I think. Thanks for checking it out!

    Love these videos. This information is so rare, and is often only spread from friend to friend. Unfortunately, in my old school playboat, I have to have the seat all the way back to fit, but I'm ok with that. In a creak boat, I like to be central, and in a half slice, I like 2/3 back. Great video. Gonna experiment with my position this week.

      @@SethAshworth Hi Seth! Love your videos! I know it's been two years, but I have a q about seat height and how exactly that effects paddling? I have seen people padding their seats, but don't really understand what it does. Raises your center of gravity ok, but how it effects paddling rolling etc

    Got to admit to putting the seat all the way forward and the thigh hooks all the way back before I even sat in the boat! Then again small person in a big boat = interesting outfitting choices.

      That’s kind of exactly what I’m getting at. Moving the seat should be the last outfitting thing you do not the first. You’d be better off putting some extra foot foam in and paddling it for a bit and then decide if it is trimmed properly or if you want it a little more bow down/bow up.

    The real video we need is how to actually get our hands on an Antix 2.0, ha ha. I'm ready to buy, but can't find a vender near Utah.

      did you check on the JK website?

    Hi Seth, thanks so much for these videos. Just got an Antix 2.0 medium, and I’m loving the boat. The only issue is the foot block foam does not push in very far, so I have to use the seat back one notch just to fit. Did you run into this issue with your boat? Thanks!

      @SethAshworth  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't have problem, you could probably trim the foam foot piece a little. It is an option at least

      @@SethAshworth Thanks! That is what I was thinking. My brother did that with his and it seemed to work. Really would be nice to be able to sit in the middle seat position, so I’ll probably give it a go as well.

    Got a question for you bro. I have the exact same kayak, same size. Which rand skirt do you recommend?

    • @SethAshworth
      @SethAshworth  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In North America IR lucky char,a or Royals (I may give their Kling-on skirt a shot this year. Not sure yet). If I’m UK playboater work deck. Hope that helps!
