Nice one James. As you know I was one of your first buyers of your bodyshell jig and I cannot recommend making a purchase highly enough. My process is almost identical to yours but I don't use a marker pen like you do. So that's a great tip that I am going to shamelessly pinch from you!!!

Not all body profiles are formed square to the base.
You are correct. Most of the bodies are formed square to the base but watch part 2 for answers.
