Awesome packing overview! It can be challenging to nail down a gear list for a trip like the Laugavegur, but I think you've done a great job. Well done!
Thank you 😀 It was a challenge to cover all aspects of weather whilst on the hike and keep the pack as light as possible (which it wasn’t 😂) We loved the Laugavegur the landscape was out of this world.
Thanks for the video :) i am going to start this trek in 2 days, do you know if i can get some dry food on the way or i just have to get everything before in Reykjavik and carry ?
Hi we took our dry food from home with us as it’s cheaper. You can get it in Reykjavic but it will be more expensive we also got our gas in Reykjavic. If your starting in Landmannalaugar there is a shop/store but not sure if they had dry food. After that on the trail there is no where to buy any. Have a amazing time the trail is awesome 😊
If you are doing only three days hiking then 12kg is little bit big for packing, if I do I would carry only trekking/ hiking gears just two pairs everything Incase of rain or other issues,
Dawa wish you were with us… we were alone had to carry all sleeping gear & the tent plus food for the 3 days and cooking equipment. That’s why it was so heavy. Only had 1 change of clothes plus water proofs.😳 Was a great challenge and a fantastic hike. Loved it and highly recommend, landscape is phenomenal. But we also still ❤Annapurna and want to return to Nepal 🥰x
Another clueless men on the internet. 3 days in Iceland, covering a temp. range from -5 to 25 °C and being prepared for hailstorms, snowstorms and heavy winds, carrying all food and a sleep system that lets you sleep through. She did a perfectly fine job and it is a great video. So try to reduce your mansplaining, it is embarrassing you
