I'm a 59-year-old White guy from Oklahoma who fell down the BTS rabbit hole last year and can't find his way out. BTS's music videos are stunning. And the dance practice videos are addictive and magical. I look forward to revisiting these treasures with you!
Great to know there are people out there that are older. I’m 70 yrs old & came across BTS on TH-cam in 2016 & was so impressed with these young men’s talent from their singing, dancing, writing a lot of their music. Their story of how popular is a true underdog story & these young men persevered through hard times & worked so hard for their fame. They’re genuinely nice, humble men.
23:48 man the rap line literally came from an underground community😂. Suga and RM were underground rappers while J-hope was an underground street dancer. They are born to be a rapper and a dancer, not trained to be a rapper and a dancer. The difference is huge when it comes to rap with any group. That's why BTS's rap line is well respected in the hip-hop community in SK and their rap line is arguably one of the best rap lines in K-pop, if not the best.
BTS actually has most appreciated rapline and now their vocal line is getting appreciated too like Jungkook was recently appreciated by Yg vocal coach for his vocal stability and harmonies, Jin was appreciated by Grammy panel to have Silver Voice, Jimin,V are known for their unique voices, vocals in kpop
they are respected now..but before i dont think so, you know how they look down on kpop rappers and those that are from the underground. on the contrary namjoon and suga was criticize by a lot of underground/rappers when they became "idol rappers" even namjoon said some of his crews questioned him cause they understand his frustration.
It always starts like this and another moment without even realising you are a "ARMY"💜. BTS holds that much power. When Suga said " Once you get taste of BTS you can't go anywhere else" he wasn't lying.
I’m 47 yrs old and I heard of BTS 2 yrs ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. These guys are truly amazing, hard working and deserve all the accolades. ❤
With 90 mil fans globally, its more than just their music. Its their personalities, authenticity, kindness and as healers for the hopeless, inspirations to many, and our happy pill. BTS journey has been the happiest moment in my life and Im 65 and a die hard fan of hard rock classics. They’re a gift full of surprises and positivity
So many layers to their music. 1-listening 2-visuals 3-lyrical geniuses 4-actual meaning vs. hidden meanings 5- storyline 6- how to apply the therapy session that you just listened to. 😂
Give a day specially for BTS. I'm 61 and absolutely love them. They are legends there is normally an explanatory video for extremely deep songs of theirs
Welcome in BTS world ! These guys have the most unexpected and amazing underdog sucess story in the whole industry. A lot of their early songs talk about social issues/economical or political injustices but also, they talk about their own struggles and inner thoughts, doubts and failures. All the discography of BTS is meaningful, because through their albums, they share their growth, thoughts, and history, their own journey in life. But, using books, thinkers, art, poetry, psychiatrist concepts, they transcended their personal storylife and struggles and made them universal, relatable for everybody, sharing powerful social AND personal messages. And that's why they are so huge and popular, it goes far beyond the music, they touched people heart and give them hope. There's a lot going in each MV, so it can be overwhelming. But the most you read the lyric and the deeper you dive in the hidden meaning of each song. Blood Sweet and tears take part of the Wings album/era, deeply based on a book : Demian, by Herman Hesse. It's about temptation, loosing innocence... recognize and embrace you dark side in order to grow, and extend your wings. The MV is full of symbols, you can chek some explanation video later. Even in Dope, there's layers of meanings. At first, the lyrics are typical of the hip-hop genre, spitting on the competition and endlessly praising yourself (“I’m kinda dope!”). But if they are hungry for success, they have made sacrifices to get to where they are (“I worked all night, everyday, while you were out clubbing.” “Even if our youths rot away in the studio, thanks to that we’re closer to success.” But BTS said since day one they want to talk and fight for their generation and they do it here : a few years back, the Korean media started labelling the younger generation as a generation who abandoned essential parts of life. The "give up generation" : Because of the tough economic state of the country and a lack of opportunity, the young generation has to work so much harder to get a job and survive. Sampo (3-po) generation, "given up on 3" (RM verse) are gave up on Dating, Marriage, Childbirth; The 5 give up generation abandonned also Human relationships, and Housing/work. They also talk about this issue in Bepsae (Silver Spoon) The last grade is 7 : gave up on dream and hope. BTS point the fact that “The media and grown-ups say we have no will, denouncing us, why are they killing us before we even try?” This makes the great point that the very people who urge teenagers to achieve things in life are the same people holding them back. Then RM said he will give up six things, but he won't give up the seventh : Hope. So BTS tells people to stop giving up on things and never give up on hope. Hope and hardwork, :"keep your head up, take my energy, energy, energy. Don’t give up, you know you’re not lonely. Our dawn is better than our days. So can I get a little bit of hope? Wake your sleeping youth and go!" There's a lot to say about Idol, too, but my comment will be too long. There some good explanation video on DKDKTV, for the Korean references.
BTS really change my life. They literally got me through the pandemic. Their music and watching their old vlogs helped me curb my depression, to the point where I don't even feel sadness anymore.
I’m here for the nostalgia kick. 😭 Thank you for reacting RJ. The best thing about the fandom growth is that there’s so many explanation vids out there. Have fun!!! ☺️
Dope was the music video that led me down the kpop rabbit hole 😂. My daughter had been listening to kpop for years and had played numerous songs in the car, but this was My first music video and now it's all I listen too.
Please watch BTS On commentary film dialogue The rise of bangtan docu-series chapter 1-21. BTS with Dr Jiyoung Lee Read the lyrics of bts songs and watch the explanation videos of Bts songs.
Welcome to BTS RABBIT HOLE my Dear, you"ll not alone ARMY will be whith you, enjoy your Journey, BTS is the most talented group that I ever seen, they are amazing artits and musicians, love your reaction, Borahae 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm so glad u finally reacted to BTS, I was 13 when I found BTS.... I was going through depression because of how much I was body shamed, listening to their music got me through a very tough time.... I also got into kpop because of them..... 😌💜
I've been a BTS fan since 2016 "Save Me". I love all the members for different reasons. As much as I love them and their music. In which I like about 95 percent of their discsovery, their is always a song or 2 every album I can't make myself like. It's the style of those certain songs that I don't like never the lyrics. It drives nuts when people watch/listen to BTS songs without lyrics. Lyrics are what make me love their music.
BTS are the biggest boy group in the world, Most awarded group in history in the world with 787 awards , 2 Grammy nominations. One of the best vocal lines,Best Rapline from kpop
Just got here and when I heard your surprise that Suga could rap so fast I laughed out loud. I'm really excited for you to hear more of what he can do (and I'm gonna watch more so I'm sure I'll see it). You came in with an open mind and I could tell you were hoping you'd like them. I feel like you've gotten just a hint of their sense of humor - a lot of their songs have a sort of sly wink in them, like the audience is meant to be in on the joke. And man, the Idol MV out of context is a trip 😂 When you get to wanting to check out live performances, they did Idol at MMA 2018 and just... It's impossible to describe, but amazing 💜
Yes "Idol" definitely requires an explanation(together with Blood Sweat & Tears). The video you may have been recommended that explains idol is probably "BTS - Idol Explained By A Korean" by the youtube channel "DKDKTV"(This channel also has other videos explaining more BTS songs that I recommend for the future). But in addition I recommend the explanation video of the same song "Idol" by the youtube channel "xCeleste"(the one from which you watched the introduction), because she touched on most things that "DKDKTV" missed. I actually recommend you watch both videos as they compliment each other very well...one explains the lyrics in the context of the Korean language and culture(DKDKTV) , and the one explains the visuals, while staying true to the personal connection of the song to the members and the overarching theme of the album from which the song comes from. Regarding an introduction video that goes in depth for each individual member, I know a lot of people will recommend "A Guide To BTS: The Bangtan 7" by "Taylor", which is a great video, but it won't really give you an "in-depth" intro for each member as you would want. I mean it does introduce you to each individual member, but it doesn't really do justice to their individual stories...it's more of a brief summary/overview of who they are individually. As an alternative, I recommend a series of videos that does go in-depth about each member by the channel "bts_gadaursan". Instead of one whole video, it's a series comprising of 8 episodes(8 Individual videos), which each episode dedicated to a member(the first episode is an intro to the whole group, so you can start from episode 2 if you want) and each episode being a little over 7 minutes long and you have to turn on the cc. Not a lot of armys know about it(which is why you won't see a lot of them recommending it) but it's one of the best series I have ever seen.....underrated gold. It does every member justice. Even though it's a little old, most information is fundamental info and still factual. It's more about their individual stories, struggles and hardships over the years, not as a group, but as individual people, and it's the most objective series that does not focus on the inside jokes or unserious things that have nothing to do with their talents or artistry, which most guides/intros have, which aren't very helpful in understanding the artist. You will learn more about them, while at the same time, you will be able to distinguish them from each other, and hopefully be able to put voices to their faces. With one long guide video, you will probably forget their names and faces at the end, but with a series you will more likely remember them better. You can start with the long guide though because it's very good also, then continue with the individual members' guides.
i am so glad you're checking out BTS! they're so special to me because they're the group who got me into kpop 7 years ago!! i hope you can check out their older stuff too because they have just amazing messages! I recommend N.O., Danger, I need U, Run, Not Today, Spring Day.. i mean there's just too many great songs
I LOVE SIR AUSTIN!!!! Thank you RJ, I really enjoyed your reaction, I look forward to your journey of BTS!! I am still on my BTS journey now 4 and a half years later and still going strong!! At almost 58 yrs young, I love the boys so much and are so so proud of who they are and rappers, singers, dancers, composers and their humbleness and their messages in their lyrics, in fact they are talented all round as absolutely hilarious to watch, true comedians!! The explain videos are a huge help too!! Tanya's GUIDE is very up to date of all the members, you are sure to be AMAZED!!! Have fun and take care!! New Aussie Subscriber!! xx💜
I love watching ppl explore BTS for the first time, and I really like that you started with a bit of background first. It sounds like you've already got some helpful ARMY pointing you in the right direction. I look forward to watching more of your journey down the rabbit hole. ^_^ 💜
RJ, I don’t know if someone has mentioned to you that there are explanation/theory videos on some of their songs, which is quite helpful. I was extremely impressed with their song Spring Day and it’s meaning. Amazing, so thoughtful, also written to help Koreans who lost loved ones in the 2014 Sewol ferry tragedy. As far as I know though it was released in 2017 it is still on the Korean music charts to this day.
I really like XCeleste’s intro to BTS as a first introduction. It contains little bits of info that others don’t include. I love Taylor’s Intro as it is the most up to date and complete. 💜
bts are widely renowned to have the best rapline in kpop, and two of three were underground rappers prior to the group. the metaphors, the variety of flows, the lyricism, the genuine deep knowledge and appreciation for hip-hop and its beginnings and pioneers, they have it all. they have gotten praise from western and k-hip-hop/rnb artists alike, from wale and anderson paak to tiger jk and epik high. you are in for a treat with them if you enjoy rap.
Watching your reaction to Fire is the first time I realized that they’re playing Dope on their radio at the very beginning… lol especially since you put that video on RIGHT AFTER Dope😅I feel dumb now… So excited for you to be getting into BTS… it’s gonna be a fun journey for you
i’m sooooo excited to see your journey, bts were my introduction to kpop so i will always keep them on a special place in my heart, thank you for taking the time to appreciate their talent and their music
They win their first award for "I need you" mv, please react on I need you, save me, run, No, not today Blood, sweat and tears have more deep meaning than it looks like, I can't even explain you here the whole meaning of this song here but you can see it in you tube that every single scene have lots of meaning
I answered a few of your questions. Yes that was Suga you pointed out (with the "fast rap") in Dope and their first music show win was "I Need You" in 2015. At least twice you said you liked Jimin's voice. It is angelic like you said. Wait until you see some of his dancing. It is so beautiful! Enjoy your journey!
긴시간 동안 방탄 영상 봐주셔 감사합니다💜 Thank you for watching the BTS video for a long time. 💜 I finally found you today and hit subscribe like!!!😘 You know the names of members of Suga, RM, Jin and Jimin. That's right👏👏👏The live is much more worth listening to than the music video, enjoy. Don't miss the "Dance Practice" of each song, it will be very interesting. I am very happy that you started your long journey with BTS. Thank you and be healthy, always good. 🙏💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yesss BTS! My favorite of these songs is Blood Sweat & Tears.. idk why but when RM says chocolate cheeks and chocolate wings it gets me every time 🥵 lol
@@rjkpop There's a great explanation video for Blood Sweat & Tears. You'll be more amazed after you get the meaning behind it. There's also one for Idol :)
There are two entirely separate things going on in BST MV. It is part of the (in)famous BU - the ongoing alternate storyline - but at the same time all the imagery relates to the story of ‘Demian’, the Herman Hesse book that informs all of the Wings concept album.
Yeah Dope was a huge song for them. This MV is amazing. Tha´s right, it is hard to read the lyrics while listening to the music and watching the choreos. But all the lyrics are extraordinary. It is a must to revise them later. You will find amazing cleverness.
I really enjoy your reactions.. it’s always good to check their MVs and any videos of BTS with fresh set of eyes ! And yes , when you said - imagine this song in a concert ( Fire !) .. I can imagine coz the whole SOFI stadium shook when they sang this last year ( Nov 2021 ) ! They do even more amazing job in concerts & live !
New subscriber here. You caught me when I saw that your smile as you watched “Dope” was exactly like mine the first (and 50th 😂) time I watched it. I know it’s going to be really delightful to join you on your journey! Just to give you my background: I became Army in 2017, I’m an American woman who has been living in Europe for the last 35 years and I will be 74 in 10 days. (August 20, 2022). I purple you 💜
I just watched a bunch of your reactions to different types of groups, not just BTS and i really Love an enjoy them! Your reactions are really genuine and natural. You got an new subscriber and Please keep going, greetings from Germany 😊
try not to feel too intimidated by the amount of content, the group are on a bit of a break from group activities to focus on their solo work a bit more, so there's no rush before the next comeback. just sit back and enjoy the ride :)
I have watched your BTS series and I really love it! I'm sorry if army sometimes can be scary or intimidating, most of us are more than happy to welcome new people in getting to know BTS but, as you can see, they've been through many hardships and because of that we sometimes tend to be a little overprotective if that makes any sense (?). Anyway, great vid! I felt like you were very respectful and understanding, I felt like I was showing BTS to a friend, also answering your questions while watching it haha. Big hugs!
Dope and ON kinetic manifesto are my favorite videos for choreo.. Can't wait for the rest of your journey and when you get to agustd, that's when your really gonna see Suga spit some fire.. It's okay man it's called The Jimin Effect and they be snatching men and women out here all the time LMAO blood sweat n tears is about losing innocence(Jin) as V is a fallen angel who tempts him
I have watched all of your reactions and I really appreciate your analysis and how much you are impressed by our wonderful BTS members. Thank you. I suggest two more music videos: ON Kinetic Manifesto Come Prima and Black Swan. Then you need to move to live performances and the solos of the vocal line. You noticed Jimin's voice in Blood Sweat and Tears. He is my bias. His solos are Lie, Serendipity, and Filter; Jungkook--Euphoria, V--Singularity, Jin--Epiphany, and J-Hope Chicken Noodle Soup. BTS has several songs that showcase the vocal line and they are the slower songs with beautiful harmonies. Swoon! 🙂💜
To find out more about the members I recommend BTS member introduction by taylor nakamoto, she has the most up-to-date guide of 2022. BTS' lyrics in their b-side tracks are what draw us to become lifelong fans. The title tracks are awesome but their b-sides are there to comfort us. All the members are so talented, I look forward to you learning more about them individually and as a group.
Yay welcome back to reacting to BTS! I highly recommend reacting to the guide made by Taylor S just to learn a little more about each member! As for songs I highly recommend reacting to DNA, Dimple + Pied Piper (the 5th muster live performance of this is a must watch), Let Go, Make It Right (the one without Lauv), and Mikrokosmos 💜💜 & since I’m getting the vibe that you might be V biased I recommend reacting to Singularity and Stigma (as well as his OSTs) I’m loving your reactions!! 🙌
Good luck with your BTS journey. I'm sure you have a mega list to sort through to break into appropriate themes for upload into your YT/Patreon sets. Always remember to follow how YOU would like to react to BTS and be guided by that - if you have recommendations, that's lovely but they do have a straightforward discography (in terms of timeline) and explanations are available as to groupings, concepts, etc. Also, I know you also like to react to MVs that explore the members' personalities and there are a ton of content like that for BTS (OMG!!!). Don't feel pressured to pick a bias - you'll pick one, it will change and you'll end up OT7 anyway, until you know "for sure" (haha). Enjoy!
Hi, I'm new to your channel and I'm enjoying this video very much. I don't know whether or not any of your questions were answered already here in the comments section, so I thought that I would answer some of them, just in case. They're all wearing different outfits in "Dope" to represent different professions. RM is a hotel bellhop, Jungkook(JK) is a policeman, J-Hope is a race car driver, Suga is military, V is a private investigator, Jimin is an office worker, and Jin is a doctor. In "Fire", the guy with RM was J-Hope. Remember, J-Hope is the third rapper. He does sing occasionally, and he's a great singer, too, but Jin, who you confused him with, doesn't rap. Only on rare, special occasions, like the celebration of the anniversary of their debut, will you ever here Jin rap. Also, J-Hope recently headlined at Lollapalooza. If you haven't seen any of his performance, I highly recommend it. He put on a fantastic show. "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" is complicated. The short version is that it's about temptation, growing up, and good vs evil. The themes are based on a book, Demian, by Hermann Hess. The statue at the end that Jin kisses is of Abraxas, a god that represents both good and evil. The kiss and the cracks in Jin's face represent him giving in to temptation. The part where RM is speaking is from the book. This video is also the first one that came out after JK, the youngest in the group, turned 18. It's the first video where they actually made an attempt at being sexy. There's an explanation video for it, if you want information on all of the philosophy and symbolism in the video. It gets pretty deep. The symbolism in Idol is more rooted in Korean culture than philosophy, which is why an explanation video is practically required. Without growing up in the Korean culture, it's almost impossible for someone to get all of the references. If you pay attention to the lyrics, without the visuals, in "Idol", you'll understand the meaning of the song a lot better. Unlike "Blood, Sweat, and Tears", this song is fairly straight forward. And yes, that was Jin sitting beside RM. I'm sorry that this is so long, but I wanted to try and answer all of your questions. None of these videos are a major part of the story line. "BS&T" is technically part of the BU, but the themes from "Demian" overshadow that. I'm glad that you seem to be enjoying their music so much.
I can see you might be an rm or hobi(j-hope) bias. But as a Jimin bias myself, loved seeing you get wrecked by his beauty and vocals!🥴💜🤌🏻 once you Jimin, you can’t Jim-out, I wish you well my brother and this is my second video but new sub ❤️❤️💪🏻
I just found your channel, loved your reaction! Hope to see more BTS reactions from you. I’m a 43 year old Army who found BTS when I was going through some hard times and there music got me through it. Thank you for reacting to them💜
Honestly the best way to know them is Rise of Bangtan docuseries. I've been an army for quite a few years and I still find new clips they use making it or new appreciation for having things in perspective. And it's perfect to get to know them.
Your reaction was recommended by TH-cam to me today. Loved it 💜 Get ready for ARMY to come! If you like Dope and Fire cos they are kind of hype songs just wait till you see them live! I thoroughly recommend the live performance medley of these with Baepsae and Run, hype doesn't quite describe it. I recommend reacting to the 2 songs first so you have seen all 4 before live performance though. ARMY will sit through any length of video so feel free to watch explanation videos during a reaction too if you want to 🥰. Can't wait yo follow you down the rabbit hole. I started in Sept 2020 and I am still going. I am 49 year old ARMY from UK. Borahae 💜
BTS's story is really in depth and I only kind of understand it. Blood Sweat and Tears is one of the most conceptual of their MVs, if you're interested, you can check out the videos by the channel "xCeleste". She broke down the entire story across all their mvs, games, extra videos, everything they're put out pretty much and it was really helpful in understanding the story for me
41:48 the adlibs in this part like ursoo are used to hype up the crowd in traditional korean songs. Also when it says hooray it actually says jiwhaja (I think that’s how it’s spelt 😬) and after that when the captions say that brrum thingy it’s actually a traditional Korean drum beat
I feel like I'm watching the making of a BTS Army member before my eyes. Idol is very creative song and music video in my opinion. In the old days, Koreans praised a way of living that was hard working but was filled with rest, leisure, and enjoyment through song and dance. There's a Korean word for it but it escapes me. So BTS, appears to be paying homage to that. That bright gold platform would have been for people to congregate and rest in the hot and humid summer heat. Song and dance would have been with the old school traditional flute you hear in the background. People would have been dressed in bright colors. BTS is playing this traditional sounding song and instead of putting the same vibrant colors on their clothes and architectural pieces they're adding a twist. Traditional sounding song with traditional color visuals. And it's all kind of in front of you abstractly but in the background if that makes sense. Jimin holds a traditional wooden handheld fan in one scene. And you hear them sing "Ulsoo Jot tah", which is kind of a slang in the spirit of "woot that's great!". Something said during celebrations in the old days and commonly said nowadays humorously.
Thanks for reacting to BTS. I just got into them this spring. I kind of had to, but I'm glad I did, because I took my 14 year old daughter to their PTD concert in Vegas.
If you want to understand the whole BTS Universe first watch the whole wings album MVS, shorts and then go back with HYYH pt. 1 and HYYH pt. 2 highlights and also, shorts. The posters, the notes, there are a lot of theories that are so good and crazy, you will never expected it to be this tangled. There's even a Webtoon explaining the world of SAVE ME, crazy, brilliant, I just love everything about the theories and you can find them all in TH-cam if you search the order of the BTS theories. You're gonna love it if you're into fiction and philosophy. (If your read the book of Herman Hesse called "Demian" you may understand to about the whistles and all that)
We need another video for BTS you have to see ( black swan + fake love + spring day) and live performance with lyrics for( magic shop + so what + love myself answer) please 😭🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜love your reactions soooo much 💜💜💜💜💜
I really love your commentary and thoughtful opinions on the world of k-pop. You're different from other k-pop reactors who only listen to the popular songs for views and don't really try to grasp the meaning behind it, or try to learn the names of the members, or care about their journey. You recognise all of those things which is why I love watching you. Your videos are kinda a safe and cozy space to enjoy k-pop. Thank you :)
RM/BTS spoke at the United Nations for young people - it was epic, 3times. They performed in the United Nations building song and dance of Permission to dance - on youtube. They went to Whitehouse to talk about Asian harassment awareness - how to combat it. They write songs about humanity and love. Their loves songs are for ARMY as a person. After not winning the grammy this past year, in Las Vegas they continued with a 4 night sold out Allegiant Stadium concerts. No other artist has done that before, 4 days...!!!!!
So glad I found your videos. You seem to really want to know about the group. Take your time go at your own pace . I think a lot of fans will like the way you appreciate the ride. Sometime watching the dance practices are really fun and starting in the early years you can see the hard work they have undertaken. Can’t wait for your next video! Good luck, so much to learn !! Thanks
Rewatching 'Idol' won't help you much to understand, it's things clothes and glasses and filters because of the hate they got from wearing it and other similar things, lots of cultural things too and other references to things you only can recognize if you watched them live and know the hate comments and Korean culture etc. So for someone new to BTS DKDKTV and maybe some other explanations by Army is needed to understand the MV (and lyrics too). But it is worth rewatching because it is awesome and you can't catch even 50% of what is happening when you watch it just once or twice. :)
Love love LOVE your reaction, thanks for being so considerate of all the vids, info and of course, the MVs themselves! Please don't worry about following storylines or anything like that, please don't feel so overwhelmed that diving into BTS becomes a chore. The beauty of their music means you can just enjoy it as it is. And when you want to know more, there is sooo much more to discover! Please go at your own pace to get to know BTS. thank you very much and please stay healthy and well 💜💜💜
I became a bts fan in 2012 but I was into kpop since 2002. Idol mv is a mixture of south korean and african culture. Blood sweat and tears is visually stunning. Thanks for reacting to all of the videos.
They’re genuinely nice, humble men.
yay! i love finding fellow Oklahomies in the fandom!!
Now do you really want out? I thought not.💜💜
awesome! -NY USA 2019 Army💟
@@sandymartinez5434 oh there are many older army here and on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. I am 39yo but have many older army moots.
23:48 man the rap line literally came from an underground community😂. Suga and RM were underground rappers while J-hope was an underground street dancer. They are born to be a rapper and a dancer, not trained to be a rapper and a dancer. The difference is huge when it comes to rap with any group. That's why BTS's rap line is well respected in the hip-hop community in SK and their rap line is arguably one of the best rap lines in K-pop, if not the best.
gasp ??? go check if you have the names spelled correctly please
@@atlantis315 sorry what? Ah I just notice the autocorrect. Thanks for telling 😂

Bts have the best rap line in kpop 💁♀️
I would say not just in kpop but the world but hey that's just my opinion 😊💜💜💜
but vocal line too!
not really but they're so good
they're actual real rappers unlike most of 'idol rappers' but if i say that then i'm the villain
@@beautifulloly there are many real rappers in kpop, you are not villain, just not educated enough ;)
It always starts like this and another moment without even realising you are a "ARMY"💜. BTS holds that much power. When Suga said " Once you get taste of BTS you can't go anywhere else" he wasn't lying.

Omg sooo true! That's why we call him savage 💜 he can be because he is right with what he is saying 💜
I’m 47 yrs old and I heard of BTS 2 yrs ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. These guys are truly amazing, hard working and deserve all the accolades. ❤
Not BST Jimin being the most replayed part of this video! I love it

i dont know why they were hated or unliked at first. that is why you never ever judge a book by its cover. love them no matter what. beautiful souls.
I am 54 years old from 🇩🇪 and love BTS since 6 years
So many layers to their music.
1-listening
2-visuals
3-lyrical geniuses
4-actual meaning vs. hidden meanings
5- storyline
6- how to apply the therapy session that you just listened to. 😂
yo i was just thinking about when you might start checking out more of bts' stuff and here we are. the timing gave me goosebumps 😳
we are connected lol
Mknmmn
BTS always has synchronicity. It's wild but fun.
Wake your sleeping youth and go!"
There's a lot to say about Idol, too, but my comment will be too long. There some good explanation video on DKDKTV, for the Korean references.
It's so cool because I've been watching Anitra for so long and remember when she started her BTS journy and now she's helping so many others!
🥰💜
I love Anitra’s channel❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥even if she doesn’t react to one of my ults (JUST B)😎
BTS really change my life. They literally got me through the pandemic. Their music and watching their old vlogs helped me curb my depression, to the point where I don't even feel sadness anymore.
💙💙💙
Samedt! *ArmyHug* 💜💜💜
"Jimin needs to chill out with his beauty", yes RJ, tell him, this is so much suffering!! 😭🤣
Thank you for this great reaction 💜
I’m here for the nostalgia kick. 😭 Thank you for reacting RJ. The best thing about the fandom growth is that there’s so many explanation vids out there. Have fun!!! ☺️
Dope was the music video that led me down the kpop rabbit hole 😂. My daughter had been listening to kpop for years and had played numerous songs in the car, but this was My first music video and now it's all I listen too.
i love that, haha!
sweet
Please watch BTS On commentary film dialogue
The rise of bangtan docu-series chapter 1-21.

Read the lyrics of bts songs and watch the explanation videos of Bts songs.
BTS is different from other kpop groups
Welcome to BTS RABBIT HOLE my Dear, you"ll not alone ARMY will be whith you, enjoy your Journey, BTS is the most talented group that I ever seen, they are amazing artits and musicians, love your reaction, Borahae 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm so glad u finally reacted to BTS, I was 13 when I found BTS.... I was going through depression because of how much I was body shamed, listening to their music got me through a very tough time.... I also got into kpop because of them..... 😌💜
the rap line is AMAZING. you'll see with time how good they really are. one can't overestimate what a huge part those 3 had in the success of BTS.
There’s only one JIMIN in this world he really is one of a kind💗
I've been a BTS fan since 2016 "Save Me". I love all the members for different reasons. As much as I love them and their music. In which I like about 95 percent of their discsovery, their is always a song or 2 every album I can't make myself like. It's the style of those certain songs that I don't like never the lyrics. It drives nuts when people watch/listen to BTS songs without lyrics. Lyrics are what make me love their music.
Just a reminder that JIMIN did the melody of Blood sweet and tears 😌😌😌I’m so proud of ma baby💗
BTS are the reason that i am into kpop.they brought me Happiness
BTS are the biggest boy group in the world, Most awarded group in history in the world with 787 awards , 2 Grammy nominations.
One of the best vocal lines,Best Rapline from kpop
For me…bts’s charming point is their relationship, really
Just got here and when I heard your surprise that Suga could rap so fast I laughed out loud. I'm really excited for you to hear more of what he can do (and I'm gonna watch more so I'm sure I'll see it).
You came in with an open mind and I could tell you were hoping you'd like them. I feel like you've gotten just a hint of their sense of humor - a lot of their songs have a sort of sly wink in them, like the audience is meant to be in on the joke.
And man, the Idol MV out of context is a trip 😂
When you get to wanting to check out live performances, they did Idol at MMA 2018 and just... It's impossible to describe, but amazing 💜
Please react to A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor :)) This is the most comprehensive and non-biased OT7 introduction to BTS.
It's certainly the most up to date. I love it.
Agreed, after watching a LOT of intro to BTS vids, Taylor's the best, most up to date, and most importantly, most unbiased so far
I prefer XCeleste she is much more thorough.
AGREED
Up
no way!! I’ve been obsessed with your treasure reactions and finally BTS holy crap I’m so excited to watch this! 😭😭
I love BTS. They were my first group and I got to see them in concert. Their live vocals r very good
Yes "Idol" definitely requires an explanation(together with Blood Sweat & Tears).
They pointedly never refer to their fans as “crazy.” Only enthusiastic and passionate.
i am so glad you're checking out BTS! they're so special to me because they're the group who got me into kpop 7 years ago!! i hope you can check out their older stuff too because they have just amazing messages!
New Aussie Subscriber!! xx💜
i love how you started analyzing everything in IDOL after BS&T
Jimin's voice is just crazy, my favorite
bts are widely renowned to have the best rapline in kpop, and two of three were underground rappers prior to the group. the metaphors, the variety of flows, the lyricism, the genuine deep knowledge and appreciation for hip-hop and its beginnings and pioneers, they have it all. they have gotten praise from western and k-hip-hop/rnb artists alike, from wale and anderson paak to tiger jk and epik high. you are in for a treat with them if you enjoy rap.
Watching your reaction to Fire is the first time I realized that they’re playing Dope on their radio at the very beginning… lol especially since you put that video on RIGHT AFTER Dope😅I feel dumb now…
So excited for you to be getting into BTS… it’s gonna be a fun journey for you
i’m sooooo excited to see your journey, bts were my introduction to kpop so i will always keep them on a special place in my heart, thank you for taking the time to appreciate their talent and their music
They win their first award for "I need you" mv, please react on I need you, save me, run, No, not today
Blood, sweat and tears have more deep meaning than it looks like, I can't even explain you here the whole meaning of this song here but you can see it in you tube that every single scene have lots of meaning
All 7 boys are superb, also the camera, the staff also works hard on them that make me feel in the songs 💜🔥💜🔥
Enjoy your journey!
yes!! all my fave multi-stan reactors doing a deep dive to BTS! 💜💜💜
36:25 omg Tae, I can’t
42:12 because he’s V and he always chooses violence 😂
Yesss BTS! My favorite of these songs is Blood Sweat & Tears.. idk why but when RM says chocolate cheeks and chocolate wings it gets me every time 🥵 lol
i feel that haha
@@rjkpop There's a great explanation video for Blood Sweat & Tears. You'll be more amazed after you get the meaning behind it. There's also one for Idol :)
I don't know if it's true but some fans said that it's because he have a thing for black women
A more personal intro by her BTS "From nobodies to Legends 2019" soooo good....no captions needed
Thank you for sincerely taking your time to actually getting to know what they are about. Hope to see another bangtan contents from you!
Hi!! Thank you so much for reacting to our boys!
Please keep an open mind and most importantly, enjoy this long BTS rabbit hole! :)
It's okay man it's called The Jimin Effect and they be snatching men and women out here all the time LMAO blood sweat n tears is about losing innocence(Jin) as V is a fallen angel who tempts him
Woooo hoooo!! Can’t wait to see you fall in love with them!! 😍🥰💜
Loving it so far!!
Enjoy!
💙💙💙
Borahae - purple hearts in the fandom💜
Amazing comment, especially the bias part 💜💜💜
Yesss! 💜
I loved your reactions!! I can’t wait for you to do more!💜💜
I just found your channel, loved your reaction!
Borahae 💜
The angelic voice you heard in BS&T is Jimin - he’s so ethereal - our angel!
BTS's story is really in depth and I only kind of understand it. Blood Sweat and Tears is one of the most conceptual of their MVs, if you're interested, you can check out the videos by the channel "xCeleste". She broke down the entire story across all their mvs, games, extra videos, everything they're put out pretty much and it was really helpful in understanding the story for me
its always blood sweat and tears jimin... LOL same thats how i got my bias
WOW you took me waaaay back now omg i miss their old music so much!! 'dope' was the song that brought me into kpop
i love listening to your thoughts, your videos are very captivating to watch! loved your reaction
Their first win was 'I Need You'
If you want to understand the whole BTS Universe first watch the whole wings album MVS, shorts and then go back with HYYH pt.
Thank you! :)
No other artist has done that before, 4 days...!!!!!
please see more BTS MVs from the past because there are so many lessons we can take from their stories
Please go at your own pace to get to know BTS. thank you very much and please stay healthy and well 💜💜💜
🤗💙
I became a bts fan in 2012 but I was into kpop since 2002. Idol mv is a mixture of south korean and african culture. Blood sweat and tears is visually stunning. Thanks for reacting to all of the videos.
Absolutely love your Channel. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I just come to say that I feel very happy when I see interactions between my favorite reactors! Enjoy your journey
watch Not Today and ON: Kinetic Manifesto, Fake Love, Black Swan... oh my! DNA mv has a lot of Korean symbolism - proud of their heritage.
Thank you for the video 💜💜💜💜
The word they are translating as Dope (in the Dope MV) is the same word that was written as Zutter in the GD & T.O.P. MV. It is a Korean slang word.
Instant sub. Can't WAIT to watch the BTS rabbit hole journey 💜 you nice, keep going
RJJJJ, I'm so happy you started BTS journey. I'm here for it 🥰
