Great video, thank you. Given this a go and there was a lot of well packed lint in there but I note that in your video you can see the undrained water in the background where ours is bone dry at the back - could there be another issue? The clothes are drying fine I just don’t get where the water is now going?!?! There’s no leaks or drips from anywhere I can see. Thanks in advance, Steve
@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 the person before me has tried to take it off so it’s sticking up a bit and isn’t fully screwed down. The one screw holding it in is the rusted one. If I used pliers and ripped it off could I leave it with a hole or would that cause a leak? I can’t seem to find replacements online apart from the entire condenser unit.
@jackhiskett7273 apologies for the delay in replying. It shouldn’t cause it to leak, but if it did you could fill the hole with silicone or similar after perhaps
@@His700mine was lifted too like the one in the video, I guess this is the plastic warping from the heat?! One of my screws was rusted but I did manage to get it undone in the end after a lot of swearing and perseverance. Odd design for what seems like a service type issue 😡
Saved me a fair few quid. I'm grateful. Thanks.
Excellent 👌

Thanks you so much. I really appreciate it 🙂👍
Screw on my cover has rusted shut, are you able to disassemble to a point where I will have access to remove the rusted screw?
I have come across that happening so often. Can you let it open an my bit at all? Enough to even get a pinch nose pliers on it
