Nice Lou! I found the same thing running in my duel start mavric, she's got some power!! Also, the hoop hose is easier if it sits in the sun for a bit befor putting it on!
Thanks for watching! The break in was quite the event! By the way, how do you like the dual start??? I bought the pull start because it was available at a good price along with the frame. Do you find that you use it often or just use the pull start? Any problems with it so far? I hope to head to the desert as soon as my wing arrives. I haven't flown PPG in about 6 months. I'm excited all over again!
Thanks for making these videos Lou! They’re very informative and I really enjoy them. I’m going from an Atom 80 Maverick to a Moster 185 Plus as well (Scout Carbon), and I’m looking forward to the performance difference (keeping both motors). As for dual starts, I’m not a fan of the added weight and battery, but most people that have it seem to like it and use it exclusively, with the pull start only serving as a backup.
Thanks for the nice comments. The Scout seems like a really nice unit.Perhaps one day I'll be able to fly one. With the Moster it will be fantastic I bet! It's great to have both machines and definitely one as a back up. Best wishes!
@@GregAnthonyHarris Hello! Yes I did see your great videos on the Kangook. Actually, I had a classic Kangook about 2 years ago with the Top 80 and the local Kangook dealer lives near me so I was familiar with the Phoenix. I actually have gone back to the Atom 80 as the Moster was just too much overkill for me in terms of both power and weight. I sold it to another local pilot. The Phoenix was a really nice frame but I went with the Fly Products Eclipse which is VERY light and perfect for me. I will actually have a video on it soon. I really love the Atom 80 (as much as one could love a 2 stroke engine!). Take care!
I use an Icaro 2000. I purchased higher protection ear cups from Peltor (31db) and then connected a Senna bluetooth system to use with my radio . There was a bit of drilling involved. You can check out complete systems at places like Aerolight and custom fit your helmet already assembled. I did put a bit of foam along the head band and the top of head regions for more cushion. It fits well with good protection. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Glad your back to motors.
Absolutely...or firmly anchored to something on the ground...or carrier in my case.
A man with a lot of passions. That’s the secret to staying young. 👍
In that case I should live forever 😛 thanks for watching. I'm really looking forward to flying the new ride soon!
Paramotoring ! Great ! I’ll start watching again.
I put the unit on my back... then for the 7 and 8 thousand RPM... I just leaned against my car with my arms... not bad at all

Nice info! Thanks for posting. I'm starting to shop for a helmet. I like yours - what is it?
