The moment where Ted tells Robin that Barney is going to propose to Patrice for me should have been on the list somewhere. It's the moment where Ted puts aside his own feelings about Robin so that his friends can be happy.
Also where Ted gives Barney the necklace to give to Robin instead of giving it to her himself

Probably because both of those moments (while ending properly) were done out of pure selfishness and douchebaggery. Before he told about the proposal he was about to use her for his own big life event (his first building I think), he waited until the final last second to do the right thing after jumping on the chance to use her again. The necklace? He spent months sacrificing his dignity multiple times just so HE could give her the locket. He only gave it to barney again after after working for himself.
Those aren't true friend moments, they were times the douche chose to do the right thing.
@Vinay Garnepudi that's a nice long winded rant. Clearly I touched a nerve. Your response is the only ignorant thing here. Go back and rewatch if you'd like, doesn't change what is. He did the necklace all for himself and only chose to do the right thing after he sees how deep Robin was in love with barney. He did right for her, not him. The marriage proposal was the same thing. It wasn't till he understood how hurt she was that he told her. Barney know ted well enough that he knows ted (out of love for robin) wouldn't let Robin get hurt (meaning she would run to stop the "proposal") that's how barney's plan worked. He even said that in the recap, ted doing so was his way of truly blessing their relationship.
He did the right thing out of his love, that's selfish. Were he truly the "greatest friend ever" he never would have been in either positions. Yes would have told barney about the necklace and he would have found it sooner (look at Barneys history of finding lost things) but he didn't. He would have told robin first thing about the proposal instead of trying to first use her.
@Vinay Garnepudi you are looking at the wrong part of this conversation. It isn't about "right or wrong". It's about being the epitome of friendship. Ted should never have been in the positions he put himself in. True friendship, especially the way they all are together, goes beyond "taking it wrong". That's an excuse for acquaintances or strangers, not family and not for the "greatest friend ever". My feelings on ted being a douche do not effect the facts. He did right, yes, for the wrong reasons AND not for barney, and in case you forgot what this video is about it's perfect friendship, not doing the right thing.
The best moment I can think of is when ted and lily are up on the roof and lily admits that sometimes she wishes she wasn’t a mum to allow ted to be able to admit he still loves robin. 😭

Was thinking the exact same thing, and one of my favorite scenes. It shows, in my opinion, real friendship where I many times have had deep conversations in the freezing cold and people saying something they never wanted to admit or say out loud, but have such a trust and closeness that they reveal it to you.
Barney flying to San Francisco to tell Lily she has to get back together with Marshall is the sweetest thing he ever did.
A great example of Barney being a better friend and person than Ted.
What about Marshall telling robin she needs to move out for teds benefit.

Fun fact, when Barney was learning to drive the Fiero, Neil actually did turn on the radio unscripted, Josh Radnor had no idea he was gonna do that and his reaction was genuine.
Barney is totally the type of person who cares for you more than you could imagine , but keeps on in the inside and shows it in a very subtle way.
My number 1 moment is when Barney travels to SF to convince Lily to go back to New York, and how much marshall loves her.
Edit: Yay!!!! It was number 1, but doppleganger should be higher like number 2. Maybe, you guys should do a top 10 Barney moments.

Number 1. When Marshall goes to Robin to tell her to move out because he knows it hurts Ted too much for her to stay, and he'd never ask her to do it himself.

I would argue that Robin telling Ted to go after Victoria instead of telling him how she feels is a good moment of friendship as well...same with Barney hyping up Goliath Nation Bank when Marshall gets a job there, along with Barney helping Robin make a video resume and the gang encouraging Barney to reconnect with his father
Addendum - for me, the Symphony of Illumination is way too over the top to be anything but Ted trying to get Robin to love him again

That's the reason why I hate that episode and don't watch it to this day. I'm still not over her leaving, but that episode was the cherry on top.

Ummm...Ted telling Robin about Barney's "proposal" to Patrice, so that Robin could tell him how she feels and stop him??? Sure, it was all orchestrated by Barney, but Ted's willingness to let go of Robin despite his feelings for her, knowing she and Barney should be together was one of the best friendship moments on the show.
I think one part when barney is pulling on THE ROBIN and Ted tells Robin about Barney's plan even he really likes robin its the best bro moment
