Please when and how did u cut the from slit ,u said I should add one and half to it after measuring the largest that's the hip and add one and half ,

Hello dear... the front slit was cut as soon as u cut the front part of the skirt in 2 pieces. If u watched carefully you would see wen the right n left side was cut. Both pieces will be joined as you would join a slit at d backside of a skirt.

Yes it does. From the slit u measure half inch as the other side and sew your dart.
