I just happened to develop a love for casting metal and this blows my mind. This is what craftsmanship is. So much of what is made anymore bares this kind of skill and dedication. Amazing.
The truck is to pour the liquid brass in very close proximity to your feet while bare footed, wearing no gloves, and wearing no thick leather apron. That will result in weeding out the weak casters and metal workers, leaving only the skilled tradesmen.

What kind of soil they using anyone knows?
Not sure what they are using but commercial casting sand is usually some composure of bentonite clay and silicon carbide with oil mixed throughout. I have used it before but not with anywhere near the uniformity these gentlemen are operating at.
