I just happened to develop a love for casting metal and this blows my mind. This is what craftsmanship is. So much of what is made anymore bares this kind of skill and dedication. Amazing.
These horse statues are very good. Western nations taste has a strong preference for the form prior to carving. I would like greatly to buy a pair with no carvery applied, only polished.! Thenks for the interesting video!
The trick is to pour the liquid brass in very close proximity to your feet while bare footed, wearing no gloves, and wearing no thick leather apron. That will result in weeding out the weak casters and metal workers, leaving only the skilled tradesmen.
This is what I call tactile sensing. The feel for closeness and bonding with the creator and creation. Here gloves, goggle and safety aspect have to throw to the wind.
@@Raj-me4iy To feel and become one with the alloy is the mark of dedication. I believe one of these smiths is likely very dedicated am otwiññ someday be proven.
Un trabajo de alto riesgo. Y sin la más mínima medida de seguridad. Manejando bronce fundido y sin zapatos, aspirando los gases del metal y soportando altas temperaturas.
Not sure what they are using but commercial casting sand is usually some composure of bentonite clay and silicon carbide with oil mixed throughout. I have used it before but not with anywhere near the uniformity these gentlemen are operating at.
You know, it's funny. I've scrolled up and down these comments (not too far, mind you) but you're like the only other person I've seen comment about this dude pouring that shit bare-foot.

the horse can be made from one part, more metal is used, but you don't waste time for welding and the rest, you are not an expert for making from one part
I'm just so happy they were wearing safety sandals later ♥
