Nice design! Once ew get these features in creative in a few weeks we'll probably be seeing a lot more of these! Now i kind of want to automate this entire procedure... Number logic in survival would do that easily... But anyways, nice video!
Thanks best working design I have tried. Tried several others that didn't work and were even far more complicated and yet this ones simple and easy to expand upon! One question. Is there a way to return the carriage back to the start at the end of it's run?
You turn the switch off. Turning on the switch expands the piston, turning it off retracts them. If you went with a a button instead, I think you could just hit the button again.
@@PixxieGirl45 well I meant without having to flip the switch again and in this case I've improved upon this design with several items one uses a censor to return the cart to the start position on it's own. On top of that I have fant mod installed so using that I have the food delivered to a chest I have the seed using glass tubing to redirect to the back so I don't have to refill those chests with seed and I have another set up to take unused seeds and redistribute those to a chest on a craftbot to make Fertilizer for the paint plant grow boxes. Have pretty much automated the entire process
@@scottish785 You can use a nor-nor-and logic set up and use one of them (doesn't matter which) as the on/off indicator for the machine. Connect a button to one nor gate and a sensor as a button to the other nor gate. The sensor should be at the end of the crop run where the frame will trigger it and invert the logic turning the machine off.
ja mechanizm z urchamianiem armatek na sensor już znałem ale nie pomyślałem jak zrobić aby wracając nie nawadniało znowu a wystarczyło do sensora dać bramke logiczną i przycisk bardzo fajmy pomysł
I started with this setup. but unfortunately it has a hard time scaling with a much larger farm. Ended up putting planting, watering and picking on their own separate systems.
Didn't work... spent all this time upgrading crap and re wired the thing 3 times and nothing plants or waters or picks up... but a big expensive mess that makes it look like I know what I'm doing tho. So thanks for that I guess
if you hook the left switch into the 3 logic gates then it should prevent the need to shut off the mode selector switches when retracting the gantry
have you tried this by chance
the other gates are set to and gates so it would require the left switch to be active if it's hooked into them.

Thank you, it works perfectly

very good tysm it work u genius
Alright. Recommended for me just now. So i did same thing, 9 crops wide. And only with two switches.
what did you do differently?
thanks brother more tutorials please

Looks great but how do you protect it?
put it on one of the hills at the trader they cant get up there
@@KolbyYT Really? How does that work?
@@williamburroughs9686 you need water line or manualy transferr water up there and find a flat enough spot and just build it there

Nice
Polska?
awsome
mądry pomysł nie wiedziałem ze 3 pąpki starczą to wciąganai
So smooth but im looking for a cheaper design for a 20x20 raid farm
