MICAT in itself is a fascinating exam, the way these students described it makes a lot of sense for a Marketing B-school but I think there is a slight caveat here, MICA definitely is a niche and it is looking for such students who have that "creative + corporate" blend in the right proportions but are they really getting it?. Do students who actually ace Marketing comps, or are just naturally inclined towards such an industry go for MICA at all, or do most of them knock on the doors of the mighty IIMs, provided the ROI, the package, the level of exposure, the overall competitiveness to thrive in a batch of great minds overshadow the creative side that MICA has to offer? 🤔

I have Zero work experience+ Zero Profile and 3 gap yrs...so if i get in some good college then will I have any disadvantage to me in Placements compared to the students with me having Work Experience??

I got 88% in my 10th, 77% in my 12th and I did bsc in biotech n got 72 in my graduation, have done 2 research studies with published article and have studied one foreign (german) language till intermediate level and i am from nc-obc category. How much should be my target in cat to get into some good tier 1 b-school?

@@guddumajumdar2462for CAT, almost 90percentile above. Same for XAT accepting colleges. For SNAP accepting colleges, SIBM Pune and SCMHRD are tier 1 and SNAP is slightly easier than CAT.

Most of the selected candidates have 90+ percentile . There is no one below 85, Those who have 85-90 have performed well in MICAT and descriptive section. Interview call is based on CAT/XAT + MICAT score
