sir, after completing my Bachelor's of engineering, i did a 1 year diploma in Agriculture. Will i be considered a GEM or from agricultural. Also, while calculating the academics weightage , which one will be considered!!??
As an ex-mican, I will say be led by what you want to do. If marketing, media and advertising (especially advertising) are your areas then MICA has an edge. Else, other B Scools may cover areas better- operations, HR or Finance for instance. I have had an excellent career in marketing and advertising( 2.5 years in advertising). Most people with MBA in marketing don't get to do brand management- they usually end up in Sales and Category position. If you start in advertising, your possibility of becoming a brand manager in client side is near 100%.
